The movements were smooth and swift, incredibly adept.

When the car turned a corner, Jiaojiao even felt that the girl glanced in her direction. However, the distance was too far for Jiaojiao to discern her expression clearly, but she believed the girl was smiling.

"So cool!" Jiaojiao couldn’t help but exclaim.

She wasn’t unfamiliar with girls who could fight. Take Liang Wenjing, for instance—she seemed quiet, but she could fight. Jiaojiao had the chance to see once during their freshman year, but that was just some self-defense techniques, completely different from how this girl single-handedly tossed someone to the ground.

This girl was clearly a trained martial artist.

"Are all girls this awesome these days?" They look so delicate, but when they make a move, they can take down a whole row of big guys.

"Did you see that, Xi brothers? That girl was amazing," Jiaojiao wasn’t satisfied just exclaiming to herself; she had to seek Duan Xi’s resonance.

Duan Xi, not fond of her praising others, responded only with a faint acknowledgment.

As they neared the school gate, Jiaojiao was still going on and on. Duan Xi frowned, killed the engine, turned his head, leaned in, pulled her small body over, and sealed her lips with his—a seamless move.

The chatter from Jiaojiao’s mouth was finally silenced.

He only let her out of the car when the blush on her face hadn’t faded. As she got out, Duan Xi’s warning before she left echoed in her ears: "Don’t praise others, it makes me unhappy."

Outwardly, Jiaojiao scoffed, calling him childish, but inside, she felt sweet.

So much so that after the morning exam ended, the smile on her lips hadn’t faded.

After finishing the last exam, Jiaojiao returned to the dormitory to say goodbye to Aunt Tang. When she found Ruan Hao’s car at the school gate, she noticed a girl standing beside him, blushing as she handed him something.

The girl’s attire didn’t seem like a teacher’s; she looked more like a student.

Jiaojiao thought it wasn’t a good time to interrupt, so she waited by the side, but Ruan Hao noticed her.

He waved gently at Jiaojiao, his eyes soft: "Come over."

Jiaojiao had no choice but to go over with her arms full of documents.

The fact that she and Ruan Hao were siblings was no secret at school, but this girl seemed unaware. When she saw Jiaojiao, her expression shifted, glaring at her with hostility.

"Thank you for your kind gesture, but I have a girlfriend," Ruan Hao said as he naturally took the backpack from Jiaojiao’s hand.

Jiaojiao’s eyes darted around; she was in her element in such situations. Immediately, she leaned against Ruan Hao, feigning a coy voice: "Oh my, Brother Hao, saying such things makes me shy."

She even covered her face, pretending to be shy.

Just as she finished saying this, before the girl could respond, Jiaojiao heard a snicker from behind. Following the sound, she saw a short-haired girl approaching from not far behind her, dressed lightly in the chilly winter, unlike Jiaojiao who was bundled up like a dumpling. Her athletic outfit accentuated her great figure, especially her long legs, which were incredibly long.

More importantly, Jiaojiao remembered who she was!

She was the person Ruan Hao had introduced her to on her birthday!
