Chapter 2050 - 901: Spirit Maidens_2
When the quasi-king of Dawn Light entered the battlefield, the pressure on the entire front line reduced, the massive dark monsters facing another destroyer.
This also gave Rod more time to search for resources. Now, as the people in the quasi-king’s Sacrificial Refining Field increased, the internal resource consumption has already surpassed external ones. Although the resource consumption in the Life of Man during the plateau phase has decreased significantly, the consumption speed under the blessing of 300 times time flow far exceeds regular Ascension Ceremonies. The resource consumption of the entire Trolian cannot compare to even one quasi-king’s Sacrificial Refining Field.
Rod could only search for human legacy as much as possible, collecting lost resources, using frequent battles to push the Source Stone Plate to generate more resources.
His efforts weren’t wasted. Soon, the second quasi-king in the Sacrificial Refining Field was born.
When Chucher from Apple Town stepped out of the door, he received a warm welcome. All of Trolian boiled over his appearance, and when that giant celestial being appeared on the battlefield, all the warriors cheered for him. He was like a ray of hope shining into this despairing darkness.
Everyone knew that when such rays exceeded 25, their sun would rise.
As time passed, more quasi-kings emerged from the Sacrificial Refining Field. Fei Xue from Vanilla Village, Frank from Mushroom City, the four individuals from the Life of Man who first restored the Soul Blueprint, all stepped into the stage of quasi-kings.
When the shining light-blue giant sword and covered mushrooms entered the battlefield, the Trolian’s front lines even pushed back against the trend, and the powerful black tide couldn’t withstand the impact of the four quasi-kings. The light of fire along with their strength repelled the darkness.
Soon, Luo Weiya, Misha, Peibela, Jelaba, Red Queen, Olivia, Dark Moon, and Tai Luo, these strong individuals from the Life of Man also completed their ascension, restored to their peak strength. Of course, they had not completely reached their former peaks—which required more time and resources that current Trolian could not sustain.
And when these quasi-kings stepped into the battlefield, Trolian finally welcomed its most glorious moment. Powerful humans tore apart the black tide formed by countless Black Fog Symbionts and derivatives, leading the charge to repel the invasion of the black fog, securing more space for Trolian.
However, the crisis is far from over; the power of the black tide still increases, and the strength of the black fog has been elevated to the Ninth Level. Trolian’s Holy Fire cannot withstand this level of black fog. Quasi-kings had to fight in the darkness, although the Royal City provided countless Red Tear Stones and Spirit Lamps, the erosion was unavoidable.
Worse still, as these strong individuals of the Life of Man completed their ascension, the quasi-kings emerging from the Sacrificial Refining Field suddenly became very few. Many of the Life of Man without such strong Soul Ripple, despite how they cultivated, could not step into the Fifth Stage of Primordial, burning life and resources in the quasi-king’s Sacrificial Refining Field yet unable to progress significantly.
"Some of them have already reached their limits."
The Book of Knowledge said regretfully.
"Their Soul Ripples are too damaged. Relying solely on their strength makes ascension incredibly difficult. Let these people come out now; further cultivation is pointless. Let them join the battle, maybe there’s a sliver of hope."
Rod, though extremely reluctant, knew that the Book of Knowledge was right, could only let these individuals leave the quasi-king’s Sacrificial Refining Field.
Despite Rod’s frequent consolations, they still felt deeply ashamed, considering themselves failures for not becoming quasi-kings and being forced out of the Sacrificial Refining Field. Fortunately, Rod repeatedly said there was still a thread of hope, perhaps stimulating potential in battle and creating miracles, allowing them to recover from despair and quickly join the battlefield.
A large number of Fourth Stage Primordial strong men arrived, further strengthening Trolian’s combat power, making the whole line more solid.
Moreover, each one of them became the Dream Realm’s Angel Envoy. Now, the names filled the entire Obelisk, and everything they did would become Rod’s divinity.
Currently, in the Dream Realm, the Golden Light flowed almost continuously, new divinities descended every moment. While creating Divine Stones consumed a vast amount of divinity, Rod’s divinity, on the contrary, rather increased.
Everything improved, the only problem was the insufficient number of quasi-kings.
Asa regrettably said, "Master, the existing strong individuals from the Life of Man seem only to be that many. The Evil Thought Stele has already been eroded by me to 80%, and it becomes difficult to find more strong individuals from the Life of Man."
"How is that possible?"
Rod asked incredulously, "What about Alan? What about the Heavenly God’s Armor? What about the Hidden Repository? I remember seeing many strong individuals from the Life of Man on the surface of the Evil Thought Stele, they obviously haven’t all appeared.
Asa answered, "Master, some individuals from the Life of Man have been thoroughly destroyed, while others have perished. The Heavenly God’s Armor and the Hidden Repository regrettably belong to this category, as for First Knight Alan, I have not yet found information about him."
Rod furrowed his brows. Was it true that the legendary Heavenly God’s Armor had perished? He almost recognized Alan as the Heavenly God’s Armor.
In that case, who is Alan?
Aren’t there many incredible geniuses in Trolian?
Are they all in the end?
Rod felt disbelief but could only wait. Fortunately, Asa’s erosion speed was swift. Not long after, he found another strong individual from the Life of Man.
"Master, master, you wouldn’t believe what I saw!"
"An unprecedented super strong Soul Ripple, no, this isn’t just a Soul Ripple, it’s a body, an ancient powerful being projecting its body in the form of Soul Ripple into the Spirit Fog. Oh my, I can’t believe such a being exists!"
Rod urgently asked, "Who is it? Is it Alan?"
"No, no, its existence form is very special. Such a powerful ripple body, no human soul can individually bear."
Asa shouted in urgency.
"It’s sustained by the souls of dozens, and due to some peculiarity, these souls are all female: Anna, Jessica, Wendy, Sansa, Philis, Lisa, Sandora, Ilya, Silver Cat, New Moon, Evelyn. They embody Trolian’s Spiritual Woman Group!"
"The source they inherit is the Spirit Demon, one of the Outer Gods from the Primordial Epoch! This Outer God is significantly related to the Primordial Goddess. The Evil Thought Stele told me, it became an Outer God because the Primordial Goddess bestowed it power."
Rod’s eyes widened at once, never expecting the Spiritual Woman Group to originate this way. They elevated rapidly early on, yet upon stepping into the sealed ruler stage, their ascension speed slowed considerably, to the point of falling to the fringes among Trolian geniuses.
"Can these spiritual women become quasi-kings?"
Asa quickly answered, "The Soul Ripple they inherit varies, but at least half can step into the quasi-king realm. Specifically for each one, I’m unsure, but the one named Anna is undoubtedly the inheritor of the most! Her name tops the Evil Thought Stele!"
Rod looked at him incredulously; Anna was the slowest to ascend among all spiritual women, once considered a useless waste, and she’s the inheritor of the most? Isn’t she the one with the least?
Asa flipped through pages: "Hmm, the Primordial Goddess, another of the betrayed initial Gods."
The Book of Knowledge exclaimed: "Master, if these spiritual women can step into quasi-kings, the source carrying we need would be almost there!"
