Rod raised his eyes, here shrouded in nearly absolute darkness, so much that even his Eye of the Soul was obscured, but when he closed his Spiritual Vision, the dark sight bestowed by [King of Night] immediately pierced through the darkness, and the landscape of the Abyss’s deepest layer unfolded before his eyes.

This is a land of extreme desolation and barrenness, with nothing but rugged terrain, resembling the Soul Wilderness.

"No monsters."

Rod stated solemnly.

"I haven’t perceived any threatening Dark Souls, nor seen any deformed twisted beings."

Viheler and the others regained their composure, their vision without dark sight is limited to mere dozens of yards, leaving them as blind as bats on this dark land, but within this short sight range, what they perceive is no different from Rod’s view.

"Why aren’t there any monsters?" Chucher mused: "Could we have landed in a more remote area?"

Rod gazed into the distance, the barren land stretched endlessly, extending beyond visible vision.

He attempted to open the Teleportation Gate, substantial resistance responded, yet Rod did not feel it was insurmountable; if he unleashed all his power, he could overcome the resistance and open the Teleportation Gate.

But out of caution, he refrained from doing so, avoiding alarming unknown entities, thereby bringing disaster to Trolian.

In the dream realm, the Book of Knowledge pondered: "Master, perhaps the terrifying beings of the Abyss’s deepest layer have fallen into eternal silence, throughout countless unimaginable ages, they have remained dormant beneath the Abyss, never causing any disturbance, hence unable to awaken suddenly."

Asa exclaimed excitedly: "Could this not be our chance? Master, quickly find traces of the extreme evil and let’s leave this place!"

Though unable to foresee the future, since reaching the deepest layer of the Abyss, an inexplicable feeling of fear has lingered within it, making it constantly feel something bad might happen.

Rod nodded lightly, the Book of Knowledge’s words made sense, perhaps indeed the terrifying beings here have been dormant for too long, and they find themselves in the edge regions; if so, there is a chance they could discover the hidden secrets here without disturbing any terrifying entities.

"Viheler, you all should lower the Spirit Lamp’s strength to the minimum, just to maintain the most basic level."

Viheler immediately understood: "We need to reduce disturbance."

Fei Xue voiced nervously: "Will this keep us from being detected by monsters?"

Rod shook his head slightly: "Unsure, but less is better."

Despite the frightening situation, the four remained unwavering, quickly reducing the Spirit Lamp’s strength per Rod’s instructions, until the glow clung closely around them, resembling red silhouettes.

Then, Rod gently flicked his fingers, [Moon Guardian] from [Moon Lake] descended upon each of them, further isolating disturbance.

"Follow me."

Rod’s figure soared, silently heading into the dark depths.

The others followed closely, not daring to stray even a step.

Uncertain of how much time had passed, Rod’s figure halted, Viheler immediately shouted: "Is it a monster?"

The four instantly entered combat mode, but Rod raised a hand, stopping them: "No, not a monster, it’s a canyon."

"A canyon?"

Rod didn’t reply and moved forward again, shortly, they reached the vast "canyon" and saw it clearly.

To say "canyon" is more like a tear in the earth, very long, wide, and deep, reaching beyond sight.

Viheler exclaimed: "Below the canyon, could there be dormant monsters?"

Rod shook his head slightly, his sight is much farther than theirs, beneath the canyon is endless Void, as if the entire land is torn open.

"Let’s go across."

Rod soared into the air, under immense gravity, even a quasi-King must exert considerable strength to fly.

Among Viheler’s group, three couldn’t fly, forcing Rod to allocate some power to lift them across the chasm.

Upon reaching the other side, the four realized its width.

"Good heavens," Fei Xue marveled: "Could this be traces left from battle?"

Frank felt the ground: "Unprecedented high-strength, surpassing limits of Spiritual Energy solidification, even a full-strength strike from me would only make a dent; I can’t believe what kind of entity could tear open such a massive chasm."

Chucher said gravely: "Let’s leave here quickly, unknown powerful entities might be dormant nearby."

Rod nodded, it’s possible, and regardless, promptly leaving here is the best choice.

After walking a while without any changes, they began discussing the immense chasm, Fei Xue whispered: "Maybe those are traces left by the extreme evil."

Chucher mused: "Who then is the enemy?"

"Of course it’s the Ancient God."

Chucher shook his head: "Impossible, according to our deductions, the extreme evil must exist in the first Epoch, his enemy can only be the True God of the first Epoch."

Viheler frowned: "Is the first Epoch you’re referring to the Epoch before the Ancient Epoch, the Chaos Epoch? Did it really exist? Legend says the Chaos Epoch is when the world formed from chaos, isn’t it?"

Fei Xue muttered quietly: "Ignorant fool."
