Infinite, colossal Spiritual Energy converged within this Space; it far surpassed the Strength of Rod’s power.

"You think you can stop me? You are nothing but a stumbling stone upon my eternal path. I am the supreme King of Darkness, I am the unnamable terror—within everlasting anguish you shall regret the choice you make at this moment!"

Boundless Black Fog formed an incomparably gigantic black hand, exactly like what Rod had once seen in his prophecy; that overwhelming Spiritual Energy was like a vast Supreme Universe, and before it, he was as insignificant as a mayfly.

Yet Rod strode forward without the slightest fear, all his Spiritual Energy erupting within his Soul. This inexhaustible force, under the effect of [Giant God Power], instantly condensed upon his hands. A "Giant God" Characteristic was Spiritual Energy condensed to an extreme; that crimson glow, surging with the breath of destruction, blazed in his palms—but he did not meet that enormous black hand head-on. Instead, he turned and drove his hands into that subtle, near-invisible crack.

Boom!

The earth-shattering roar drowned this Space in an instant; the blasting crimson light nearly forced back the darkness. The entire dark Space trembled violently, the raging ripples as though piercing through the Universe.

"What have you done?" The cluster of faint light shouted in furious alarm, and the gigantic black hand shuddered violently.

Rod sneered. "Nothing much. I merely gave the Sea of Source a helping hand—ripped open your Soul, and returned the power that does not belong to you back to the Sea of Source."

He knew with perfect clarity that the Primordial Divine King Atos had plundered many Source Laws. These Source Laws had not completed thorough Quantification, yet because of the Black Fog they belonged to his Soul. The Primordial Divine King’s silence had been to completely accomplish the Digestion of these Source Laws; once he was forced into Awakening, those powers not yet fully mastered would instantly trigger the backlash of the Sea of Source. This was one of the opportunities for Victory.

When Rod noticed those white cracks, this thought had already taken shape in his heart. Relying solely on his own Strength, it was impossible to contend against the Primordial Divine King—but if the Sea of Source was added, it became a different matter. As the root force of the Supreme Universe, its backlash possessed power beyond all imagination.

"Foolish! You think this is enough to defeat me?"

Even mightier Spiritual Energy surged forth; that majestic black hand instantly stabilized, descending to strike at Rod.

Yet at the instant it touched Rod, it once again collapsed.

"What is this?" For the first time, terror entered the voice within the light cluster. "What have you done? Why is this happening?"

Rod sneered. "On what grounds do you assume that only you can wield this Authority?"

In the distance, those nine clusters of Dark Soul all uttered low snarls; several white cracks spread to their vicinity, tearing open the invisible force that fettered them. The loosening of Imprisonment and the boundless darkness caused strange anomalies to arise within these Souls.

These were Soul fissures he had deliberately selected, meant precisely to shatter the control of the Primordial Divine King Atos. He knew that the nine fallen Primordial Gods were themselves mighty dark existences; they had merely been forced under control because they accepted the Will of Evil of the Primordial Divine King Atos. Thus, as long as that control was weakened before Fusion, these fallen Primordial Gods could break free, and within this vast Dark Soul, generate more uncontrollable mutational factors.

Boom boom boom!

The roars of the nine fallen Primordial Gods grew ever louder as they began to resist Atos’s power, trying to tear free from his Fusion and, taking themselves as the core, fuse with his Soul, to seize his Strength.

"No, no—what are you doing? Tristan, Shagotos, I command you to stop! You belong to me!"

The Soul of the Primordial Divine King Atos fell into violent turmoil; more fissures appeared within this dark Space, and the pressure from the Sea of Source grew ever greater. Rod could already faintly hear its roaring voice.

"Aaaah—stop, stop! You are courting your own doom!"

But Rod did not halt for even half a second. He frenziedly tore at the Soul’s cracks, constantly deepening and widening them, letting more of the Sea of Source’s power seep in.

The faint light cluster began to flicker wildly; a terrifying backlash force fell upon that Residual Spirit. The remnant will of the Primordial Divine King Atos was about to be ground to dust beneath this immense burden, and his voice turned hideously savage and monstrous.

"Master of Dreams, do you truly think you have won?"

Boom!

All at once, this dark Space began to expand violently. Boundless darkness spread outward, and in an instant it swallowed the Starry Sky, swallowed the higher Spirit Realm, the upper and lower Spirit Realms; even the Main Material World was engulfed in this endless darkness.

Royal City.

The human powerhouses fighting at the front line suddenly fell into a boundless darkness. They turned back in astonishment, only to see pure darkness replacing everything—earth, mountains, plains all vanished. The entire Trolian seemed to be floating in an infinite cosmos, and the Golden Light of the Primordial Fire formed a perfect circle, shrouding all of Trolian within.

"What is happening?"

The Great Shepherd Leader stared in shock at the formless darkness. "This appears to be some kind of powerful Field—no, this is no Field. This is a Soul?"

Qingyu asked in astonishment, "What? We are inside a Dark Soul? Has it swallowed all of Trolian?"

The Great Shepherd Leader could not give an answer. At that moment, a voice shouted, "Look quickly!"
