The Last King Of Darkness

This was the first time in the purification of the upper Spirit Realm area that the Dream Realm encountered such powerful resistance; human warriors fell into a bitter battle. Even though they possessed several True King Level combatants and dozens of quasi-king level fighters, as well as the dual blessings of Dream Realm and Primordial Fire, they struggled to resist the powerful Monster Tide.

If it weren’t for Viheler, Mephit, Anna, and the dolls Aphro and Alan displaying their exceptional combat power, along with the powerful blessings from the Source Heavenly God Throne, the human front line would have already collapsed.

The purification of the Dream Realm also faced unprecedented difficulties; the pollution deep within the "Shadow Evil World" far exceeded that of the other three upper Spirit Realm areas, to the point where when the Dream Realm commenced full-force purification, the massive pollution temporarily blocked the void of the Dream Realm.

Fortunately, the purification capabilities of the Source Stone Plate and the Black Ring Seal surpassed imagination; after Rod expended vast Divine Power, the vortex of purification appeared once more, and the source of countless human nightmares finally awoke.

It was an immensely colossal shadow, composed of innumerable veils. Strange shadows spread through the veils, twisted lights diffused within the shadows; in the intangible undulations and bizarre distortions, Rod vaguely felt insects and tentacles, scales and viscera, and a corrupt brain formed by them.

"That’s the true form of the weird Ancestor!"

Rod’s instincts told him this instantly; though the Spirit Energy spreading out was at the same 20th level, its strength far surpassed his and repressed him in an instant.

The Book of Knowledge shouted frantically: "Master, be careful, the weird Ancestor is the source of all aversions, It has a unique influence on souls, do not be corrupted!"

"[Shadow][Aversion][Humanity][Corruption]!" Asa yelled crazily: "This is the domain of the weird Ancestor, use [Light Deviation] and [Eye of Divine]!"

A twisted shadow struck Rod in a flash, twelve pairs of radiant Light Wings unfolded behind him, the power of light instantly deviated this intangible attack. Rod felt as if some extremely deformed creation stroked the edge of his will; though it didn’t hit directly, the immensely evil and bizarre aura left a deep impression on him.

An unknown fear rose from the depths of his soul, but in the next moment, Rod’s thoughts became as hard as iron, all fear instantly dispelled, he focused his gaze, intangible Divine Light ripples shot out, correcting all discordant existences along its path.

Simultaneously, Rod activated [Bright Red Tears], with stronger power now, he could start more Stars in their strongest form.

Intense red light engulfed his figure, insurmountably powerful protective forces surged upon him, yet, in the next moment, Rod felt that terrifying soul directly invade his mind, endless twisted will began affecting him; the strong protection was useless, and the power of light was also distorted.

"Master, hold on!" The Book of Knowledge shouted frantically: "Do not let the weird Ancestor occupy you, or it will shred your soul and create a new Human Demon!"

Rod tightened his fist, striving against this force; yet at the ultimate stage they had reached, the only measure was the strength’s intensity, and the weird Ancestor’s intensity was far beyond his.

Gradually, he felt his mind being twisted, humanity corrupted; he raised his right hand, a gleaming Light Blade appeared in his palm, its tip, however, aimed at humanity.

"No, I will never kill my companions!"

Rod gritted his teeth, fully twisted his spirit, yet his strength remained a fraction behind the weird Ancestor’s. At that moment, a new power surged into his soul, assisting his mind to fully reverse the weird Ancestor’s invasion.

"Mephit!"

This familiar feeling made Rod instantly know who it was; her mental control possessed the ability to twist monsters, previously resisting malicious thoughts or the control of Dark Spirits multiple times; he hadn’t expected Mephit to assist him now, supplying precisely the strength he lacked.

"You truly are my best partner!"

Rod unleashed all his power, with Mephit’s assistance, exerted all efforts to reverse his mind; accompanied by a steel-like booming sound, his thoughts finally returned to normal and became tougher.

"Your doomsday has arrived, weird Ancestor!"

With a sweep of Light Wings, Rod instantly switched into the soul body of the weird Ancestor, [Eye of Divine] exploded with mighty power, swiftly dissolving the innumerable veils hidden within the shadow.

The weird Ancestor emitted a terrifying roar, its shadowy eyes, like a dark sun, gazed at Rod; an even more powerful weird aura erupted from Its soul body, clashing head-on with [Eye of Divine], the battle entered a feverish stage.

Though Rod was weaker than the weird Ancestor, he had Mephit’s assistance, and the Dream Realm also possessed infinite Divinity; when the Sun Tower and Spirit Realm Strike began to take effect, victory’s scales started to tilt.
