The Last King Of Darkness

Not only that, Rod noticed, many unlit star bonfires were covered with ashes as well.

Clearly, he didn’t just bring back ten ashes; among the stars he reignited, there were ten ashes in this giant pile of ashes.

The joy in Rod’s heart swelled like a balloon in his chest, the uncontrollable ecstasy rushing to his forehead, leaving him feeling slightly dizzy.

Recovering so many ashes not only meant he could reignite ten stars but also implied that when he ignites new stars, he could directly light the most complete stars.

Among these stars, excluding the Giant Star [Destruction Sphere], all stars’ reignition required the "Great Divine Soul," and all the great souls in the dream realm had already been used up.

Rod frowned, "Great Divine Souls" are souls obtained by killing Primordial-level monsters, only existences like Ancient Gods or Black Fog Primordial Body have "Great Divine Souls."

Is it time for me to go monster hunting?

Rod knew very well that neither Ancient Gods nor Black Fog Primordial Body are existences that can be easily killed; he must team up with strong individuals like Solos, Romano, Alan, and Rhein to have a chance, the only exception being a Black Fog Primordial killed by Trolian and Rhein together, but that was pure luck based on the Book of Knowledge saying it was during a cross-world period, its weakest phase, plus "Ancient Death God Hastar" was betrayed and died, its soul heavily damaged, facing some kind of weakening, giving them a chance for victory.

But such chances are rare, and more troubling now is the fact that it’s currently the Eternal Night phase, the tide of Black Fog is about to arrive, the intensity of Black Fog rising sharply, hunting Primordial-level monsters in such conditions is extremely dangerous.

At that moment, the sound from the Book of Knowledge suddenly rose in his ear: "Master, we can tear the True God’s Soul, forming multiple Soul Fragments, as long as the tear is appropriate, we can obtain multiple Great Divine Souls."

Rod was shocked; during the Saint Longde Royal City battle, he obtained two True Divine’s Souls, such powerful souls that he was originally saving to use when he reached the peak King stage.
