(dream now, …… the hell)

I think this dream is someone's memory, too. Seems a long time old though. Mariella is also a person born 200 years ago, but the outfit I dreamed of seems much, much older than that.

Though I thought about checking the beads of memory, I didn't know how many I had yesterday because I hurried to collect them, and I haven't checked the colors for the coal-fired ones. That's why I don't know what I just checked.

"Mariela, are you awake?

She must have been watching me while Mariella was asleep. Eurike, who was at the door, returned.

"Sorry, I just fell asleep…………"

"I'm used to it. It's more important that Mariela recovers her health. It's time to eat something before we leave."

Has Eurike been awake and watching me the whole time? If so, it would mean that Mariela was the only one who had that dream.

The two girls, who ate the sandwich they had made, stood in front of that door again, paying due attention to their surroundings.

Remembering the time of the caterpillar, Mariela sees a mark on Ku's back so that she can escape at any time, taking the distance that Eurike can jump on Ku.

A bright light plunges into the dim hallway from the open door.

"Greenhouse…… anything?

"For that matter, the trees are baffled."

The second floor of the west tower, where many trees are lush with blowouts from the ground floor, has a view similar to the southern entrance that was attacked by the "necklace". Most of those trees, though, have broken or collapsed along the way, and if you look closely, they are giant bee feathers or something like insect legs buried between the wreckages.

The upstairs part of the tower that was blown out was halfway along the outside wall of the tower, and the protrusion must have been a descending staircase, but it has completely collapsed. With a thousand pieces of rope intertwined in one of the railings in the hallway, Donino must have been damaged and unable to come up after going down with the rope.

Above the third floor there was a passage from the west tower to the further northwest tower, but the first and second floors do not appear to be connected to the northwest with this west tower at the end of the line.

Is it marble on the wall or is it a white, beautiful shade of stone that looks much brighter than the previous tower room, but the size of the exterior wall side is no different than the previous tower room. The inner wall side, however, is enlarged about twice as wide with a glass tension built to draw a semicircle.

Around the center of the second floor where Mariella and the others live, the upper part is curved like a dome. Waterways and fountains are also built on the ground floor, and the tree wreckage is ruined and beautiful. It may be said that it is fantastic to see the light pouring down in the water that fills the outside there.

If all the plants that grew indoors were the remains of the demons of the trees, and all of them had not been broken from half, or torn apart as if they had been determined by something sharp, they would have seen in their beauty.

"Did Mr. Donino fight?

Mariella and Cu also peek inside through the gap between the open doors.

"This way of falling... it's not Donino..."

With that said, Eurike sends a signal to Mariella to be quiet.

Crisp, crunchy, poly, sharp.

There was a little noise coming from inside the room like something stiff and thin.

To explore the origin of the sound, Eurike slips into the west tower with only a few doors open.

Cali, Cali, Paki.............

The whispering noise quickly interrupted, and the sound heard instead.

"... jii,... mo... i, hi..."

(This sound, …… voice!? of that dream............)

Mariella looks out from the gap in the door, in the direction of the sound being heard.

The place, through the door, was a white wall on the outside wall of the tower to the west, covered with black objects, like dirt.

♪ Like a dead spider ♪

As such, the beholder would have thought. Unglossy, black like eating even light. Then, although the details of the shape cannot be known, the appearance of elongated legs growing bent upwards and downwards from the oval torso reminded me of the spider carcass.

That leg, which probably would have grown a few, now has only three left. Several legs must have been lifted and lost due to their uneven position in the front, back, left and right. One of the three remaining bottles was also broken and missing in the middle, and the only two that remained decent were on the other side.

If this black thing was a spider demon, the head and chest together grow legs from the head chest, something with a puffy large abdomen, but there is nothing in this black thing that can be called the abdomen, whether it was lost or not present from the source, and the head chest is raised warped in the direction of height. It would look distorted because its head and chest are heavily shredded or twisted. If he was a decent creature, it is a strange state of damage to be alive, even if he was a demon.

It's like a bee or some kind of feather spilling like a puffy and breadcrumb from the bottom of its head and chest, between it and the wall. Was the sound of Paris earlier the sound of eating this?

And now that he had lost what he ate, this black spider shook himself with joy by finding the warm, soft meat that had broken into the west tower.

"Himojii"

Both Yurike and Mariella did hear the black spider speak so clearly.

The next moment, a black spider flies toward Eurike. Would the body length be two meters on the head and chest alone, excluding the legs? However, the leap is neither speed nor precision with only two legs on one side.

On the underside of the flying black spider's body, on the abdominal side, if you compare it to four animals, you notice a large, torn fissure, and countless round yellow teeth growing there reminiscent of human objects, Eurike threw a potion bottle at the black spider instead of a whip.

"Yes!"

The potion bottle thrown by Eurike easily captures the black spider, and the hit impact causes the bottle to descend into the black spider with its cracked contents.

This is a potion made from the mucus of a caterpillar and the cheek bag of a vanity frog that Mariella just smelled.

By touching the air, the velocity at which the potion scatters increases acceleratively, turning the potion into a white, thin thread so that it is stretched into a splashing stream of air.

To capture an object while scattered is like a spider's yarn, but wrapping it in the face like a fine cotton or nonwoven fabric reminds me of a bug cocoon.

This potion is a (bound) potion of captivity. That caterpillar doesn't spit yarn with seeds that attack with poisonous hair, but it is also a seed that makes cocoons. It is in this potion that the body fluids on which the cocoon is based are combined with the rapidly swelling properties of the vanity frog, a user-friendly potion that is effective whether against people or demons.

The reason why they rarely come on the market is that the organs of caterpillars are so soft and fragile that it is difficult to obtain the desired material.

The (bound) potion of captivity blocks the fissure in the belly of the black spider, teasing his legs and depriving him of his freedom. Eurike's whip wraps around the black spider on top of it, slamming it straight to the floor.

"Himojii, Himojii, Himojii"

That voice, which sounds like a crevice, seems to be heard not from where the mouth is supposed to be, but from the belly of the black spider, the teething rift. That rift is the mouth of this black spider.

"Himoji, himoji, himoji, himoji, himoji"

Is the hunger that afflicts him stronger than the impact that hit him on the wall, the black spider eats through the cocoon that blocks his mouth and groans his huge mouth in an attempt to devour even the whip tangled in him?

"This guy!

It's not a good idea to set this free. That's when Eurike, who instinctively felt that way, put his strength into the hand holding the whip, trying to slap him against the wall again.

"Eurike, this way. Throw him here!

"Donino! Okay, and!

Immediately below Eurike, Donino rushed through the hallway on the ground floor, screaming to throw a black spider at a particularly large fallen tree.

Following its instructions, Eurike throws a black spider full of power.

The black spider, who makes a crippling noise and clashes against the fallen tree, puts his strength on his three legs in an attempt to fly to Donino, who was nearby, as if he wasn't damaged.

"Whoa, let me!

But sooner than the black spider, Donino stabbed the pile, which he would have made from the fallen tree, into the black spider, hammering it, a weapon, and sewing the black spider into the fallen tree.

The black spider, who has lost his freedom again, is moving his mouth on the bottom with the gazigazi so that he also tries to eat the fallen tree bordering the pile that probably penetrates his mouth. It's as if he hasn't felt any pain or damage.

"……… you can't just do this and die."

Donino looking down at the black spider, as if to see something pathetic. Over its head, when did it move out of Mariella's shoulder, the salamander flies and falls a little.

"Wow, what is it?"

Salamander, who lowered her head to peek into Donino's face from over his head, threw out a much smaller flame in front of Donino's eyes.

"You mean burn with fire?

Salamander rings to reply "Caw" to Donino, who asks towards Salamander, whose head snaps only at his gaze.

"Mr. Donino, use this! It's a flame bottle."

Upon receiving Mariella's thrown flame bottle, Donino approaches the black spider and throws the flame bottle. Salamander flames that are thrown out just to stop.

"Himojii............. …… Moji…………. Hi............ Himo............ A, a, a………………."

Black spiders burn in flames, shaking their bodies in small pieces.

(This black spider, I dreamed it, is a mass of crop disease and famine...)

Mariella stares at the black spider burning from upstairs.

I'm sure that far back in the day, crop diseases spread in a village and people were suffering from hunger. They died from children, the elderly, and the weak, and people cleansed the scourge in the lake inhabited by the Spirit deep in the woods.

That must be the kind of memory.

Then why is this hungry black spider in this place?

There is no one who can answer that question. The salamander, who was over Donino's head, walked over to the black spider, spraying flames again on the unburnt black spider forever, this time turning it into complete charcoal extinguishing.
