Chapter 161: Absolutely Chaos II
Sophia bolted through the hallway of the dormitory, hurried down the stairs, reached the third floor, and entered her room as fast as she could.
"I-I just saw something forbidden," she gasped, slamming the door behind her, her chest rising and falling after the fastest run of her life.
Her knees slowly bent as she sank onto the floor, the image of what she had just witnessed resurfacing in her mind.
Vlad, tied up by vines. His shirt torn open and a bra placed on his head like a crown, while Seraphina sat on his lap commandingly.
"I-I only heard that high nobles have some unique preferences," she murmured, her face slowly turning red. "But I never knew Lady Seraphina was also such a person."
Her hand rose to her mouth in a gasp as she began imagining what might have happened in the room.
---
"You lowly slave," Seraphina whipped Vlad, who was tied down to the bed, shirtless. "Tell me who is your master?"
"S-Seraphina is my master," Vlad whimpered, his eyes teary, his torso reddened in several places from the repeated strikes of the whip.
"You dare call me by my name?" Seraphina snapped. She wore black leggings and a strapless black bodysuit with a sweetheart neckline. In her gloved hand, she held a whip, looking down at Vlad as she stood on the bed with his body between her legs. "Looks like you haven’t learned your lesson."
She raised the whip high and brought it down upon him.
Snap!
---
"Oh, poor Vlad," Sophia shook her head, her eyes rolling, her face completely crimson as her mind ran wild with the wildest of imaginations. "I-I need to talk to Lady Seraphina and tell her that she cannot treat the poor boy like this, even if they are in a relationship. What if he runs away and blurts out her secret to someone?"
She had only just resolved to confront Seraphina when suddenly, her phone began ringing.
The moment she read the caller’s name, chills ran down her spine.
It was Seraphina’s call.
Her hands began trembling as the phone continued to vibrate, her earlier resolve completely shattering just from looking at her name.
Taking a long gulp, she picked up the call.
"H-hello," she murmured, trying to sound calm but utterly failing.
"Come to my room," Seraphina’s strangely calm voice came from the other side. "You are misunderstanding something."
Beep!
"H-hello? Hello, Lady Seraphina," Sophia spoke, but there was no response.
She had already hung up the call before Sophia could even say anything.
"Wh-what should I do? What should I do? What should I do?" Sophia blurted out, clutching her head with both hands, her face turning pale. "She is definitely going to silence me for finding out her secret. And if I don’t go, she might think I intend to reveal her secret and take me out for disobedience. I-I should have listened to Mother when she said not to make friends with people out of your league."
---
"I called her already," Seraphina sighed, rolling her eyes in annoyance. "Could you calm down now?"
She was sitting on the sofa, her legs crossed, one hand pressing against her forehead from the headache Vlad had given her over the past five minutes.
Vlad was in front of her, pacing back and forth with quick, nervous steps.
"How could you be so calm?" he snapped, looking at her with bewilderment. "She saw me here, a man, in the girls’ dormitory. What if she tells it to anyone? It’s over. My student life is over."
’He is more worried about her revealing his presence here to someone than the position she saw us in?’ Seraphina muttered inwardly, her brows twitching. Something about the wrong reason for his worry annoyed her even more than how he had relentlessly pestered her to convince Sophia not to tell anyone about his presence here.
Even though she had told him multiple times that Sophia wouldn’t reveal it to anyone, he still didn’t seem convinced, forcing her to call her.
"Commoner, if you don’t settle down right now, I will kick you out of the room through the door," she declared in a cold tone.
Vlad instantly settled into the single-seat sofa with his back straight.
A few moments later, a knock came from the door.
"Lady Seraphina, it’s me," Sophia’s voice came from outside.
Seraphina rose from the sofa and unlocked the door. "Only if she had locked the door from the beginning," Vlad muttered with a frown.
"Come," Seraphina said, opening the door only slightly and finding the nervous figure of Sophia outside.
It took several seconds for Sophia to muster the courage to enter. The moment Seraphina closed the door, Sophia squeezed her eyes shut and blurted out,
"I’m so sorry to find out your deepest, darkest secret, that you like to dominate men and treat them like slaves. I swear that I shall never reveal your secret to a soul. Please don’t kill me, Lady Seraphina—Ack!"
A bonk landed on her head.
"Whatever nonsense you are spouting, Sophia," Seraphina exclaimed, her face red with embarrassment from the accusation.
"Ow... that hurts," Sophia whimpered, holding her head.
"Calm down and let me explain everything first," Seraphina sighed, regaining her composure.
Once they had all settled on the sofa, an awkward silence fell over the room. With the clearly intimate position Sophia had seen them in, Seraphina couldn’t find the right words to explain the situation.
"Senior Sophia, could you keep this a secret?" Vlad asked, referring to his presence in Seraphina’s room.
"Y-yeah, I promise I won’t tell anyone," Sophia said, clearly referring to what she had seen.
"Oh, thank you so much," Vlad said, releasing a sigh of relief as he leaned back against the sofa.
"B-by the way, I have a suggestion for you two," Sophia continued, her face blooming red. "You should not be so aggressive when Lady Seraphina is in such a delicate condition. I could hear the noises from my room below."
Seraphina’s eyes widened as she realised what Sophia was referring to. She still hadn’t cleared up the little joke about her being pregnant with Vlad’s child.
Naturally, she definitely wouldn’t let Vlad learn about this joke she had played.
"S-Sophia, you are clearly misunder—"
"Did you also hear our voices?" Vlad asked in a serious tone.
Sophia shook her head. She covered her face with her fist as she whispered awkwardly, "Only the sound of the bed."
"O-oh, that," Vlad chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his head.
’What are you grinning for, idiot?’ Seraphina screamed inwardly. ’Don’t tell me he still hasn’t caught on to what Sophia is implying. I must send her back to her room before she says more than she needs to.’
She was about to speak when Vlad continued.
"We both lost control last night, and before we knew it, we were already choking and pulling each other’s hair," he said with an awkward grin. "I’m sorry if that disturbed your sleep. As for her delicate condition, I will be more careful from now on."
’She must be referring to how we wrestled last night,’ Vlad thought inwardly. ’And by delicate condition, she must be referring to how Sera starved for my blood and almost lost to her vampire instincts. Good thing I handled this conversation like a champ.’
While he was having these thoughts, both Seraphina and Sophia were left with exasperated expressions, their jaws practically dropping to the floor.
"Commoner, are you doing this deliberately!?" Seraphina snapped, pointing a finger at him in embarrassment.
"Did I say anything wrong?" he asked, raising an eyebrow in genuine confusion.
"Please stop talking," she pleaded, dragging a tired hand down her face. She really wanted to cry now.
"S-Sophia, I will explain everything to you later," Seraphina turned to her in desperation. "You may leave now."
"Oh, right. I disturbed you two at such a crucial moment," Sophia teased them as she rose to her feet. "You may continue with what you were doing."
’My dignity has taken an absolute low blow today,’ Seraphina cried inwardly. She snapped her head toward Vlad, giving him a sharp glare. ’All because of this dumb—’
Her words stopped mid-sentence as Vlad looked back at her, tilting his head as he wondered why she seemed angry.
*’I-if only he wasn’t this charming...’ * she groaned, digging her fingers into the sofa’s mattress.
Meanwhile, Sophia had only taken a few steps toward the door when she said, looking back at them over her shoulder,
"Oh, right, Vlad, you should leave by twelve-thirty. The warden goes to lunch at that time, and there are hardly any people around—"
"Sophia, why do you have so much to say?" Seraphina muttered, holding her mouth with her hand, her chin pressing against Sophia’s head as she appeared behind her. "Just leave alr—"
"No-no-no, she is staying right here," Vlad’s voice came from behind Seraphina as his massive palm grabbed her head, his expression darkening. "I would like to know more about what she was going to say just now."
