The Little Duchess’ Home Tutor
Episode 26: New Daily
Although abrupt, the week on the continent is on an eight-day basis.
That is - each attribute of fire, water, earth, wind, thunder, ice, light, darkness, is assigned a day of the week.
Now, the magic attribute is seven, but it was established after the Demon King's War.
What's left of Ice Sunday is the remnants of the Eight Class Age.
Light Sunday is the day of worship as a general custom. Though I rarely go because I don't believe. [M] The Dark Week that follows is a day of complete rest. The last two days can be called holidays.
The Royal School that Tina and the others attend has classes from Tuesday to Ice Sunday lunch, so I first thought, 'I guess I'll give classes in either light or darkness'. They'll want holidays and playdays, too.
I mean, I spent a day, a long day and a half tutoring, and I thought I'd be free.
- Given the current situation, I'd like to question myself 3 months ago.
"Dear Allen, what have you done?
"... no. I just wonder why I'm here."
"Is that so - this is the next project?"
Anna giggles at me and gives me materials for the deal.
- Is the conditions a little too good?
I know you're putting the emphasis on connecting with both Dukes of Linster Howard's house and making the terms better - I'd like to choose an honest person who can continue the relationship for a long time.
"Do you have more information on this - Foss Chamber of Commerce?
Yes, sir.
"Hmm... are you originally from the West? You're a doer to be one of the leading chambers of commerce in Wang Du in just two generations. What do you think, Anna?
"Because I'm a maid. Just obey your husband."
"... No, I'm not your husband."
"Excuse me - I thought it was just a matter of time. I know it would be wiser to get used to it now."
"... please don't abuse me too much. It's just that it's so mundane to be pushed into such a difficult situation."
"Hehe - Master Allen is a good joke, too. On a personal note, I don't think it's bad."
I spill my stupidity against Anna, who laughs with pleasure.
- I'm half mean and clean on my desk, but there's tons of paperwork in the pending box.
Funny, I should be cleaning up at a pretty good pace. At least, I emptied it last week...
"It doesn't look very much like that. It's like they've been doing this kind of work for years now."
"... Lydia's money management, bargaining, she's been scattered. He'll cut everything off, and I appreciate your feedback."
"No. I see, Miss Lydia's - after all, Master Allen is best suited. commercial dealings in the King's Capital of the two Dukes named Linster Howard, as their negotiator. We've been working together for the past three months, and honestly, I'm impressed."
"This... is Lisa's unscrupulous gesture, isn't it?
"Hehe - that's all they love. Your wife can't help but think that Allen is cute."
"Thankful story... my current position is too..."
- Yes, it is.
Now, for some reason, I am the negotiator for the two Dukes' business dealings in the King's Capital - especially the new commodities I want to sell. No, they're making me.
Initially, when they said, "I have a heavy load," "The Duke's House - and I've never heard of Linster Howard Co," "First, even though only a fraction of both Dukes' houses are involved in funding..." etc., I tried desperate resistance... but yeah, I couldn't beat the Lisas and the others...
Besides, I went out of my way to make Anna with Maid Director and Lydia Lynne my aide, explaining the quote that I was told I was ready to even use the magic net for direct calls and detailed contacts with Graham, and how troubled I am - especially with the Howard family, who hasn't moved aggressively before.... Is that it? How could Lisa know so much about it - if she did, she couldn't argue with it?
"I can't get it together and would like to meet with the Foss Chamber of Commerce soon. Can you please reschedule?
"I thought they'd say that - tomorrow morning. And this week I will be in class at the Howard family. On Tuesdays, business talks are one each in the morning afternoon. The same applies to water and soil. On Wind Week, Ma'am, I have a policy confirmation with Mr. Graham."
"... Anna, where did I go wrong in my life..."
"Dear Allen - rather, I thought we were going to. Since we have left Lord Lydia so boned, let's talk about the merchants of the king's capital."
For a long time, I thought this guy was a dick too... but he's overrated me...
Sure, for my age, I've been flattered by a lot of things...
I can't fit in, my week right now.
Tuesday to Wind Week is the negotiator.
Thunder and ice Sunday mornings are off - but I can't take my time because I'm getting ready for class. Lydia says, "Kamae, Kamae," and the school director recently reported on the case. What I'm looking into is weeknights.
Tina and her tutors from Ice Sunday afternoon to Dark Week (Ice Sunday afternoon started, they never gave in). The place is carried around by the Howard Linster family on a monthly basis.
Given the prep time, at least 4 days of the week will be tutor-related.
... Is that it? After all, I, I work pretty good, don't I??
- I took it on, and it's funny, so I'll do it.
But... I just want to say this out loud.
Life, I don't know what's going to happen, but - how did this happen!
