The transparent hand was supposed to pass through the neck, not to physically strangle it, but the vengeful spirit’s resentment was so strong that it actually strangled the old man’s neck.

Seeing the old man’s spiritual body floating upwards, the vengeful spirits rushed over madly. They began tearing into the newly formed spirit, ripping the ghost into pieces and devouring it like a delicacy.

"Spare me—" the old man cried out, begging for mercy.
