Little Taotie even forgot to struggle, anxiously shouting, "Huahua!"

Hua Jinyan lowered his eyes slightly, and the moment he raised them, he was shrouded in Yin Qi.

The eyes beneath the shadow were pitch-black and lifeless, like an ancient, deep well.

The two instructors went back-to-back into a defensive stance.

"This guy is really eerie."

"I see that."

"Weren’t they supposed to feast on him without the Shariputra?"

"The data is wrong, or... this kid hides too well."

"No matter how deep he hides, he’s just a brat! The girl is in my hands; I don’t believe he won’t surrender!"

Little Taotie was being held, hearing that they were going to use him to threaten Hua Jinyan, he vigorously shook the Horse-Faced Bell hanging from his waist.

Feng Qi lazily drifted out, yawned, and opened sleepy fox eyes: "Why do you look so miserable?"

Little Taotie eagerly said, "Protect Huahua! Hurry, go protect Huahua!"

Feng Qi shouted at the Horse-Faced Bell: "Come out, get to work."

The bell moved on its own without wind.

Sounds of tigers roaring and wind howling, ghosts wailing and wolves howling.

Feng Qi’s disciples and Ghost Servants floated out of the Horse-Faced Bell; just as they were about to head toward Hua Jinyan, a strong, eerie aura stopped them.

Little Taotie shouted, "Don’t just stand there! Hurry and save Huahua!"

"He seems to not need our help," Feng Qi squinted his fox eyes.

Countless Ghosts came from all directions—Evil Spirits entangled in black gas, vengeful spirits enshrouded in gray, and even powerful beings who had turned into Ghost Kings. They were drawn by the alluring aura of Hua Jinyan, but upon sensing the chilling murderous intent within a hundred meters, they immediately turned back and fled in panic.

An instructor took a deep breath: "I caught a whiff of the Undead."

The other instructor glanced up after applying eyedrops, watching as a group of Ghosts scattered like their lives depended on it.

"What’s going on? Shouldn’t they be rushing in to feast on the boy?"

"It looks like they’re afraid of him."

"How can this be? Even if the data is off, it shouldn’t be this off, right?"

"That kid is too bizarre."

Hua Jinyan’s gaze was like a deep, quiet well. He looked at those distant, fleeing Ghosts, a mysterious smile twisting his lips: "Still within range, kill."

As soon as he spoke, he clenched his hands into fists.

Immediately, piercing wails of ghosts came from all directions, sharp and ear-piercing.

Little Taotie was bewildered: "What’s going on?"

Feng Qi squinted his fox eyes: "No idea when he set up a formation, and it’s a killing formation."

"A formation?" Little Taotie’s big eyes were filled with confusion.

She hadn’t been separated from Huahua at all; when did Huahua set up a formation?

Wait, isn’t the point when did Huahua learn to set up formations? How come she didn’t know Huahua could set up formations?

Feng Qi jumped onto Little Taotie’s shoulder: "He doesn’t need our help, but you, do you need a hand?"

Little Taotie pouted: "Makes me seem so weak."

"Are you planning to save yourself? Then we’ll head back."

Feng Qi made a gesture to call his disciples and Ghost Servants back into the Horse-Faced Bell.

Little Taotie anxiously shouted, "Wait! Save me first! They’ll use me to threaten Huahua!"

Her shout reminded the two instructors, and the one holding Little Taotie chuckled: "No matter how strange the boy is, with this girl in my hands, he can’t pull any tricks."

As soon as he said this, Little Taotie was already on the ground running.

"What’s going on! You fool, have you gone mad with pride, why did you let go!"

"I didn’t! I was holding tight!"
