Chapter 2047: Little Brain a Bit Confused
"Liar, I won’t believe it!" Feng Qi glared angrily, his fox eyes lacking any threat, actually looking rather attractive.
Little Taotie wasn’t intimidated and reached out to grab Feng Qi’s hand.
"What are you doing?" Feng Qi shook him off.
Little Taotie grinned.
Feng Qi had entered the mural; she hadn’t seen Feng Qi for quite some time and missed her dearly.
Feng Qi found the smile inexplicable and said angrily, "Are you stupid?"
Little Taotie lowered her head and tightly grasped the Horse-Faced Bell.
The Feng Qi she saw in the future didn’t recognize the Horse-Faced Bell, yet the Feng Qi she saw knew about the indestructible Ghost’s existence.
The timeline was too chaotic, causing her little brain to feel muddled; she needed to sort it out properly.
"Peaches for you." Little Taotie summoned the Ghost Servants from the Horse-Faced Bell and offered the peaches to Feng Qi.
Feng Qi’s disciple was first very surprised upon seeing Feng Qi, but seeing that Feng Qi seemed not to recognize her, said nothing, quietly handed the peaches to Feng Qi, and returned to Little Taotie’s side.
Little Taotie looked at Feng Qi’s disciple, her eyes brightening.
If she couldn’t figure it out herself, she could discuss it with someone, maybe they could make some sense of it.
"All for me?" Feng Qi cradled the peaches, "Aren’t you leaving some for yourself?"
Little Taotie casually grabbed one, not knowing if they could taste the sweetness of the peaches in the dream.
She took a bite, and peach juice burst out.
Sweet as honey!
Little Taotie’s eyebrows arched happily, "Delicious!"
As she ate, Little Taotie’s shape began to change, slowly stretching taller.
"Your cultivation has improved!" Feng Qi was extremely envious and hurriedly started eating peaches as well.
After eating for a while, they returned to their original forms, which absorbed better.
The red fox and Little Beast Bai Bai fell asleep side by side.
The Ghost Servants stayed close by their side, not leaving an inch.
Upon learning that Little Taotie had cunningly stolen peaches from an entire peach tree, the War God swept his sleeves and uprooted the Celestial Peach Tree to take back.
The celestial beings exclaimed, "I said so! The War God really moved the Celestial Peach Tree away!"
"The War God spoils her too much, doesn’t he?"
"The War God is like an Old Tie Tree that never blooms, but once it does, it’s uncontrollable!"
"Shh! Don’t gossip about the Supreme God behind his back, he’ll hear it!"
Whenever someone mentioned the War God’s name or title, he sensed it and naturally heard their conversation immediately, but he didn’t care, nor did he plan to give them trouble.
He eagerly wanted to return and see his little girl.
Returning to the castle he built for her, the War God instantly sensed something amiss, staring gravely at the Ghost Servants.
Feng Qi’s disciple remained calm, but the other Ghost Servants were trembling under the War God’s pressure.
The War God woke Feng Qi up immediately.
Feng Qi groggily protested, "What are you doing? Disturbing a beautiful dream invites a terrible fate!"
The War God replied coldly, "Did you bring these things?"
Hearing the War God’s voice, Feng Qi instantly woke, glanced around blankly, saw the Ghost Servants, hesitated a moment, and countered, "Didn’t you give them to her?"
Feng Qi naturally didn’t believe Little Taotie’s earlier claim that they were given by the relentless Ghost, rather she thought it was the War God’s gift to protect Little Taotie.
Fearing to wake the sleeping Little Beast Bai Bai, the War God waved his hand; Feng Qi and the Ghost Servants were swept out of the castle by a gust of wind.
The Ghost Servants trembled, and even Feng Qi’s disciple felt her Spiritual Body falter.
"Tell me, what’s going on," the War God’s gaze calmly swept over Feng Qi and the Ghost Servants.
