Chapter 927. Theo Crashed Out In Front His Grandmother And He Was Forced To Leave!**
A particularly loud crash came from upstairs, followed by the unmistakable sound of a bedframe slamming against a wall with enough force to shake the chandelier above their table.
Diana let out a scream that was half sob, half delirious moan: "Oh god, yes! Right there, don’t stop!"
Theo froze, his eyes bulging. He looked at Elaris, desperate for the matriarch to intervene, to demand silence, to acknowledge the obvious violation of decorum.
But Elaris simply offered him a serene, patient smile. "You’re working too hard, dear."
"Your nerves are frayed. Take a breath."
"Frayed?" Theo’s voice was almost a whisper now, strangled by anxiety. "I’m not frayed, I’m... I’m hearing things!"
"Can’t you hear her? Can’t you hear Diana screaming?"
"I hear nothing but the scratching of pens and your own agitated breathing," Elizabeth said flatly, not a single muscle in her face betraying any awareness of the sounds that would have made a lesser person faint.
Theo felt a surge of hysterical rage. He turned his desperate gaze to Lily.
Surely Lily.
Lily was sensitive, attuned to the emotions of the house. She was soft and kind; she couldn’t possibly be pretending.
"Lily," Theo demanded, leaning across the table, his eyes bloodshot. "Tell me you hear it."
"Tell me you hear what’s happening upstairs... Tell me you hear your older sister."
Lily looked up from her book, her expression the picture of innocence. Her eyes were wide and bright, and her lips curved into that sweet, uncomplicated smile that always made her seem younger than she was.
She looked utterly untouched by the cacophony of lust echoing through the vents.
"Hear what, Theo?" she asked softly, tilting her head.
"Diana! Rex!" Theo gestured wildly toward the ceiling as another wave of sounds rolled down the wet, squelching sounds of friction, the heavy panting of two people pushed to their absolute limits. "They’re... they’re..."
"Oh, them?" Lily interrupted, letting out a light, musical giggle that felt like salt in an open wound. "Don’t be so dramatic."
"They’re probably just taking a nap after their long training session. Or maybe they’re doing some late-night drills."
"You know how Rex gets when he wants to perfect a technique."
"A nap?" Theo’s voice broke into a strangled laugh. "A nap? Lily, she sounds like she’s being torn apart!"
"He sounds like he’s trying to break her!"
Lily just smiled wider, tucking a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "You have such an overactive imagination, Theo."
"It’s probably that stress talking... Why don’t you try to focus on the translation? It might help calm your mind."
The cruelty of it, the deliberate, orchestrated indifference, was overwhelming. They were all in on it.
They were all watching him drown in his own discomfort, playing along with Rex’s game, leaving him alone to bear witness to the raw, unfiltered sounds of his family’s most private moments.
Upstairs, the sounds reached a fever pitch. A series of rapid-fire impacts, Diana’s voice climbing higher and higher until it became a continuous, wordless shriek of pure climax, followed by Rex’s deep, triumphant roar.
Theo slumped back in his chair, his hands shaking so badly he had to hide them beneath the table. He stared at the ink-stained parchment, the words meaningless, the room feeling smaller and more suffocating by the second.
He was trapped in a prison of silence while the world above him screamed in ecstasy.
The dam finally broke.
"Stop it! Just stop pretending!" Theo screamed, the sound tearing from his throat with such force that it startled even the flames in the fireplace.
He shoved his chair back, the wooden legs screeching violently against the stone floor. "You’re all lying!"
"You’re all sitting here acting like everything is fine while she’s up there screaming like she’s being slaughtered!"
He stood up, his chest heaving, sweat dripping from his hairline onto the ruined parchment. "He’s fucking her!"
"Rex is fucking Diana right under our noses, and you’re all pretending you can’t hear it!"
"How can you sit there and be so fucking complicit?"
The silence that followed was deafening. Elizabeth’s quill stopped mid-stroke.
Lily’s smile faltered slightly. But it was Elaris whose reaction truly shifted the atmosphere.
The matriarch didn’t flinch at his outburst; instead, her spine straightened, and her eyes darkened with a cold, simmering authority that could freeze blood.
"Theo," Elaris said, her voice dangerously quiet. "That is enough."
"No, it’s not enough!" Theo roared, his hands shaking as he gestured toward the ceiling. "It’s obscene! It’s disrespectful to this house, to this work."
"You have made a spectacle of yourself, and you have made a mess of this table," Elaris interrupted, her voice cutting through his rage like a blade. "Your inability to control your impulses and your jealousy has become a disruption."
"Since you seem so concerned with what is happening upstairs, then you will deal with it."
Theo blinked, stunned. "What?"
"Go upstairs," Elaris commanded, her eyes fixed on his with terrifying finality. "If you are so convinced that something improper is occurring, go up there and confirm it yourself!"
"Perhaps seeing the reality will silence your hysterics! Now, leave!"
"Grandmother, you can’t be serious--"
"Go."
The word was absolute. Theo felt the blood drain from his face.
He knew what she was doing; she was throwing him into the lion’s den, forcing him to confront the very thing that was destroying his composure. But there was no arguing with Elaris when she spoke with that particular edge of steel.
Trembling, Theo turned away.
His legs felt like lead as he began the slow, agonizing ascent up the grand staircase. Each step felt like he was walking toward his own execution.
As he climbed, the sounds didn’t fade; they became more intimate, more visceral. The walls seemed to pulse with the noise.
He could hear the rhythmic thud, thud, thud of the headboard against the wall; the wet, sucking sounds of friction; and Diana’s voice no longer just screaming but breaking into fragmented, desperate pleas.
""Rex, please... don’t stop... oh god, yes!"
He reached the landing, his heart hammering against his ribs so hard it felt painful. His mind screamed at him to turn around, to run out of the house, to flee into the night.
But a morbid, self-destructive curiosity pulled him forward. He needed to know.
He needed to see the reality of the nightmare his imagination had constructed.
He approached the guest room door. His hand hovered over the handle, shaking uncontrollably. He expected it to be locked.
He expected to find a barrier between himself and the transgression.
But the door was slightly ajar. A sliver of amber lamplight spilled out into the hallway, and with it, the full, unfiltered assault of their sounds.
Theo’s breath hitched. He leaned forward, pressing his eye to the gap.
The sight hit him like a physical blow.
The room was bathed in warm, honeyed light, but the scene was anything but peaceful. Rex was positioned over Diana in a devastating mating press, his massive, corded muscles gleaming with sweat in the lamplight.
He had her legs pinned back against her shoulders, her hips lifted off the bed to meet every one of his relentless, powerful thrusts. His dark skin contrasted sharply against the pale sheets and Diana’s own flushed body.
Diana’s head was thrown back, her eyes closed tight, her mouth open in a silent scream before the next moan tore free. Her fingers were buried deep in Rex’s shoulders, claws digging into his muscles as she rode the waves of sensation he was forcing upon her.
Slap. Slap. Slap.
The sound of their bodies connecting was wet and obscene in the confined space. Rex’s movements were primal, each thrust deep and deliberate, driving Diana further into the mattress.
He let out a low, triumphant growl with every lunge, his jaw set in obvious concentration.
"Yes, fuck~! "Right there, Rex, please!" Diana shrieked, her hips bucking instinctively to meet him, her entire body convulsing with each impact.
Theo couldn’t move. He couldn’t breathe.
He stood there in the shadows of the hallway, a silent witness to the raw, unashamed power of their coupling. The heat from the room seemed to seep through the crack in the door, carrying with it the musky, intoxicating scent of sex and exertion.
He watched, paralyzed, as Rex leaned down to bite at Diana’s neck, his hips never slowing their devastating rhythm, while she wailed in a delirium of pure, unadulterated pleasure.
