Why don't you pray that it lasts as long as it matters?

Because the time that seems important is that it's happiness.

Long, long, always like this. Wouldn't people wish when they stopped, when they noticed happily with trivial kicks?

More, he wants to stay like this. How many people realize they are happy and want to let go of that happiness?

What if? Even if someone wanted to let go of that happiness, I'm sure there's not one person who wants to spin happiness.

I want to make you happy. Some might think so. That could be the form of happiness for the person.

So no matter what form it takes, we can be happy. Walk towards happiness with lots of wishes and prayers.

Doesn't that mean you'll live? Because we live to be happy.

That's why I want you to continue. I want you to stay this way, be happy forever. Yeah, it's people who wish, isn't it? Don't you think?

- People keep reaching out forever. Because I know that's happier than anything else.

"Olah!"

"Chip!"

Urban government of the City of Magic, two knights are slaughtered and knotted in that square. That's Gakun and Navre.

The two hands hold a brand new sword, overlapping it to bump into each other. That's the landscape I see a lot if that's all, but today's attackers are uncommonly gagged.

Usually Gakun turns to the recipient, but Gakun is always different today. It's different from the sword I have in the first place. Gakun's sword is the Devil's Sword created exclusively for him. That makes Gakun different from his usual style.

"" Flamzele! Burn!

Gakun's demon sword erupts a flame, just as Gakun reacts to Gakun's voice. Awesome enthusiasm surrounds Gakun, but the owner doesn't look bitter.

Gakun thrusts through the enthusiasm of wondering if he could do the Yangtze. It may be called the armor of fire and heat that unites the offense. The heat emitting flames are bladed and lifting Gakun's sword moves into further space.

Gakun, who wasn't that good at magic from the beginning, wasn't good at using magic separately depending on the situation. But the Devil's Sword now in hand, Flamzele, is a specialty sharpened by only one magic.

Used for that demon sword is the demon stone obtained in Filwach the other day. It's that man's demon stone that was wrapped around the flames.

I just entrusted it to Gakun myself and it goes great with Gakun. This is the invention of the magic bureau using natural demon stones, part II. The fiery demon sword, Flamzele.

The effect it exerts is simple, it only wraps flames and enthusiasm around the whole body. Increase your attack power if you propagate flames and heat to your sword. Not only does it convert to an attack, but it does not allow approaching by heat, and it also tries to burn down what is approaching. Simply, therefore, a strong demon sword.

It only had the power to further stretch Gakun's strengths and compensate for his shortcomings. Therefore, Navre is also on the side of being pushed, but even Navre has a new "demon sword" in his hand.

"Schnelvint!"

"Wow!?"

Gakun's movements became monotonous as he tried to keep attacking him, a slight gap in the series of movements. As Navre waves the Devil's Sword to screw into that gap, the blade of the wind releases toward Gakun.

That was enough time for Navre to take the distance, though defense by heat and Gakun would be prevented from beating it off.

The wind magic is also used to jump distance, and Navre sets up his sword so that he twists his body. When the sword is swept through by utilizing all the twists of its body, the blade of the giant wind strikes a gutter than earlier.

"Damn, fast!

"Ha! Huh! So, hey!

"Eh, stop shooting from a long distance. Whoa!

Gakun screams and slashes away the blade of wind that is released every time Navre waves his sword. It's a simple air cutter that Navre is releasing, but the speed at which it fires has never been in Navre before.

This is the second installment of the Devil's Sword by Artificial Devil Stone, "Schnelvint", which follows the Devil's Sword "Ideale" given to Emperor Lukeheim. The enchantment is an air cutter, and this goes hand in hand with Navre's sword moves to make it more troublesome.

There are many wind wizards who are mastering air cutters. It's so simple magic, but that's also why it's so deep.

The air cutter released by obtaining a medium called the Devil's Sword generates a blade of wind to match the sword's waving motion, so it can shorten the time lag when setting goals.

For those who are good at magic, "waving the sword" can be L.A. in itself, but the advantage of this demon sword is that it releases an air cutter as an omelet along with "waving the sword."

Using multiple magic in parallel can be very difficult. Though Schnelvint is limited to air cutters only, he can assist with its activation. This went perfectly with the knight.

Furthermore, it is easy to release the air cutter from the output to size, speed, etc. according to the operation. Even if the wind magic is not suitable, this demon sword can be used, so I think it has been made into a dish that is likely to be widely handled.

"Ha...! Ha...!

"Why not...! Why not...!

"Well, when these two do it, it's muddy..."

Gakun can hardly make long-range attacks, but that distance remains short and I don't like anything I don't like.

Although Navre is now able to release the air cutters at high speeds, the offense has not changed dramatically.

So in addition to Gakun's speed of reaction, we have to choose a tactic that exhausts Gakun when he has increased his defense, and Gakun will run around desperately trying to pack an intermission with Navr.

The result is a muddle about which runs out of strength and magic first. Today and the game between the two of us seemed to end in a draw.

"Yes, yes, today's performance tests and auditions are over. Good luck to both of you!

In the unlikely event that I was present to prevent the outburst of the Devil's Sword from happening, there is no reason to have any particular major problems. My days have been peace itself since one incident in Filwach.

"So you're saying that both the Devil's Sword using natural demon stones and the Develop Devil's Sword using artificial demon stones are going well. That's a very pleasant report."

"Yeah, I hope Uncle Drags can use" Schnelvint "among them." Flamzele is a boulder specialty, so I don't think it can be handled by Uncle Drags... "

"Ha, what. It would be enough if you had a performance test that you were already out of the front line."

That's what I said and smiled at Uncle Drags. I smiled and carried my tea to my mouth. A recent briefing with Uncle Drags, who is in charge of the administrator of the Magic City. There have been no notable major incidents or anything like that lately, so it's just a peaceful topic.

"The completion of the City of Magic is also nearing. Parades, festivals and other initiatives will be required at the dawn of completion, but I think we will come up with a proposal here to check it out later and dress for approval."

"Parade for the ceremony... well, that's what I'm supposed to do"

I don't really feel like it, but I laugh bitterly.

The City of Magic is also under development and is close to completion. I think the biggest change of all is the establishment of the Belier Chamber of Commerce and the Adventurer Guild branch.

There are also a growing number of people who wish to become residents. Since the construction of the main functions is almost complete, the architects are being chased to build the residential areas of the growing number of residents to come.

The Berrier Chamber of Commerce does business successfully with staying knights, architects who work in development, and adventurers and travelers who stop by on their journeys. Chief Henry said before that this is what a busy scream is because you can sell anything to fly.

On the other hand, the Adventurer Alliance was more like an inn than the Alliance's main activity. The City of Magic hasn't been fully completed yet, and there aren't that many things you can ask of an adventurer.

The City of Magic, which still serves as the halfway point to the Wang capital and the western lands, also gathers information. Farna was telling me that although there may not be that many more requests available here in themselves, they will be used in the future as a point of gathering information.

(When the magic city is complete, it moves out as a city in earnest, and the magic bureau also makes plans to prototype it, or reveal it, and mass-produces it and sells it. I'm getting close to the goal I was initially drawing)

That's what I wanted to do, a dream I wanted to fulfill.

Almost there. Even though I had that feeling, I wasn't in there somewhere.

If I close my eyes, I don't like it, but it comes to mind, that alien figure. An unknown monster we met in Filwach.

I feel like I'm whispering somewhere, wondering if I can just leave it like this.

"... Her Royal Highness King Anisphere seems to have some troubles."

"Oh, I'm so sorry about that..."

"It's not like they're going to apologize.... Is this about Filwach the other day?

"Was it a prospect?

"My face has been very cloudy ever since I received the report. It depends on whether you're worried or not."

"... I think Uncle Drags has eyes for people."

I raised my hand to say surrender. He says there's a job looming in the magic city that I have to do, but it's not my job that's keeping him prisoner of consciousness.

I don't think so, but it makes me wonder if I can just leave it like this. Because that's all that chimera is odd, and I don't think it's a good thing to leave it alone.

If an ordinary adventurer other than me confronts you. If I imagine that, I wonder if I don't have to put in place measures.

"... Her Royal Highness the King of Anisphere. Mind if I just hang out with you for a little while?

"Huh?"

Uncle Drags quietly said that to me when my thoughts were about to be filled up about Chimera again.

Unexpectedly raising his face to that voice, Uncle Drags was squinting his gaze at the distance, not me.

The floating expression was somewhere dazzling, but a side that made me feel the feeling until it was vivid. The emotions that float are both joy and anger, and those that strongly intersect grief and uncut.

"... an old story, what?

"It's about the woman I let through my heart before I was tied to Arianna."

"... that"

I took my breath away from the topic that Uncle Drags cut out. A woman who had let herself through before Uncle Drags became a baron and married her current wife, Mrs. Arianna, as her daughter-in-law.

It was also the mother of a friend who became familiar to me, the one who left the world with so many mysteries.

"- About Tillis, Raini's mother. I just want you to listen to me for a moment."
