The Magus of Genesis

Lesson 3 Inheritance

Mr. Purple is an elf warrior who blossoms purple as his name suggests and fights around a tsu. I met her as a duel as a guardian for the elders, but now I see her occasionally as a good friend.

"He's been free lately. It's your fault."

"Mine?

Breaking up with Mr. Huang Green and on the road, the herd blue said such a thing.

"Lizards, giants, you've shut me up. The purple job was to impress these people, but they've grown up completely in the last hundred years or so, so they don't have anything to do."

"That is…… well, I guess peace is a good thing"

The lizards and giants are both extremely belligerent species, attacking them without any particular reason. The village of Hiiro was also in several raids, but by repelling with me and Nina and negotiating with guts, we managed to find ourselves now in a state of truce and such.

"Peace... as always, you don't know. Oh, it's purple."

I didn't know what the hell was going on, and soon I asked him, and the herd blue waved.

"We are listening to you. Go ahead."

When Mr. Purple says that in a soft tone, I guess it's her house. He led me into a giant wooden sink. The elves know roughly what is happening in their woods with the whispers of the trees. He must have known and prepared us for what we came for and for what purpose. There was plenty of water on the table for people in the wooden cup.

"May I tell you how to handle the sword,"

"That's what it is."

To Mr. Purple, who takes a breath of cold water that stains his whole body and cuts it out like that, I say what I just came up with when I was listening to the crowd blue.

"If you don't mind, could you come to our village to Mr. Purple himself?"

"If I...?

It must have been an offer I never thought I'd make. Mr. Purple blinked her eyes in surprise.

"Yes, with Nina, I thought if you could teach me magic as well as swords,"

I'm not going to build that ranch in Hiiro Village, even if I can cut the meat clean. Then I had to study the livestock independently, but the current situation was that I didn't have enough hands.

Anyway, the number of children is high. Up to a few dozen people at best can be taught alone. For the hundreds of children, there are only two teachers, me and Nina. I teach the date and time separately, but I don't have the time to do very much research.

Nina and I have been consulting several times about the need to increase the number of teacher roles in preparation for the children that will increase even further in the future. In that regard, I wonder if it would be appropriate if you were Mr. Purple.

"……… I am certainly also interested in the teacher's school"

Purple answered after much thought.

"But I am the guardian of this forest. Oh, and you can't just leave the woods out of interest."

"Even so, you lost to the bear monkey."

The herd blue points out that it is spacious, but Mr. Purple nods without a disturbed wind.

"Yes. Permission will be obtained if it is to learn that strength. But hundreds of years after that. I know that the life of a man's son is not as long. He's not alive anymore, is he?

"……… Yes"

Grabbing the stone ornament on my chest, I nod. Even now when I remember those days, I almost cry.

"You, I'm free anyway, okay?"

"That's not the problem."

To the words of the herd blue, Mr. Purple shakes his head clearly.

"It would be nice if the herd blue could come."

"I absolutely don't like it though?

While recommending to Mr. Purple, the herd blue answered that as a matter of course if we spoke. Well, that's the kind of guy she is, and I don't even think she's suitable for teachers.... If you say so, I haven't seen the crowd blue use magic in the first place. Maybe it's like growing blue flowers or leaves.

"I don't care how many swords you come here to teach me."

"Thank you very much. I'll let you know when I get the chance."

I drink up water, sit down and bow my head. That said, whether there is such an opportunity. In my case, it's quicker to go back and hit a dragon than to use a sword to fight.

"Well, I don't know."

When I was about to go home, it was Yuki who raised his voice.

"You mean if you were stronger than Mr. Murasaki, you'd blame me me?

"… I also know that your teacher is strong. I wouldn't be able to fathom you if you were what you were. … but"

If Mr. Zi waves his arm, he will have a sword in his hand.

"Its strength is the strength it was born with. It is dragon but therefore strong. It's not what I want. A sword is technology. Something to brush and cultivate after birth. I want to pursue it, my son."

D'Arga was also a born strong man. But I was able to beat Mr. Purple because he learned magic from me. He would have lost at the time he met me.

"Yeah. If it is."

Yuki pulls out his lower back sword. What fitted into the sheath made of wolf lion leather was a sword bladed with stones across the wooden body.

Not a spear, not an axe, a sword. That stronghold where her clan is called the Sword Ministry. Besides, I took a lot of breath.

"If I win, it's okay, right?

In Yuki's words, Mr. Purple's eyes narrow. A smile disappeared and she looked down at Yuki as if she deserved it.

Speaking of height, Yuki's back is only around Mr. Purple's chest. It was clear that she was an underdeveloped child, even if there were racial differences, and Mr. Purple turned her gaze to me to ask her intentions.

Did Nina predict that this would happen? She was the one who told me to take Yuki to this forest, where I was supposed to come alone.

If that's the case, there's no other way to take it.

"Be careful not to get hurt"

That's what I said to both of us.

"Yuki, because he's strong"

The two confront each other with a sword.

Yuki with a plank-shaped, hardened shield and a stemmed sword with sharp cuttings, and a wooden sword with a stone pinch and blade in one hand. His physique and equipment were as different as they were, but his standing was somewhere similar.

"Then stop if you think you've got a battle, so draw your sword immediately then. Especially Yuki, okay?

"Yeah!"

Yuki nods well but worries a little. That said, I am the one who accepted this battle, so I can't even make him stop now.

"So…… here we go!

Along with my signal, it was Mr. Purple who moved first. A thunder-like thunderbolt of speed stretches incredibly out of his long arm. The distance I thought was safe enough was instantly packed, and the blow targeted Yuki at hand.

"I'm fast!

At that moment, Yuki's appearance scratches off leaving only her voice behind. But it wasn't less than that other tenth of an instant that Mr. Purple lost sight of her. It's impossible for an elf to lose sight of someone in the woods.

"I'm stiff!

Yuki plays the blow, which he releases without turning around, with the back of his free hand. The tip of the tree, which was easily cleaved, made a hard noise as if it had hit a stone and jumped.

"I'm strong!

At the same time, an accelerated sword blow targets Mr. Purple's throat. Reflectively, Mr. Purple set up a shield and reversed the slaughter. The stone blade easily cleaves the shield made of tsu and cuts off the top half.

"Kuh...!

I guess I finally realized that this little girl is an unafraid opponent. Tsu's armor enveloped her entire body as if it were linked to the movement of Mr. Purple, who flew away.

But that's a bad move.

"You're late!

The moment Yuki screams like that, Mr. Purple moves visibly worse.

"You're soft! You're weak!

Purple manages to deal with the blow that is swung down as it folds, but the leg loses power and she breaks up with Gakuri.

"Light, that! You are my half-body, what captures and cleaves everything!

When Yuki hoisted a wooden sword in the gap, the light shone from his body as if it were a lightning bolt.

"That's it!

At the same time as I screamed, Yuki's shining wooden sword broke the Tsu sword raised by Mr. Purple and broke her helmet and stopped perfectly.

... as always, egg. Strengthen yourself, weaken your opponent, and finally strengthen your weapon. A blow is neither avoidable nor defensible. Even armored bears have the power to slaughter under one sword. It was a simple but sophisticated way of fighting, which I don't think is very much like a nine-year-old.

She even calls herself "me" for this reason. It is thorough because it can omit a sound more than "I".

"Now...... who taught you how to fight?

With a flashing expression, Mr. Purple asks Yuki.

"I'm an old man, Mr. Murasaki."

To Yuki's answer, Mr. Purple looks at her face with agitation.

Its little back and adorable face don't look alike, but only the colors of red hair and red eyes look alike.

"My old man came from my grandfather. Grandpa came from Grandpa Hii. I've been taught all along, don't bother."

Sword Ministry. That's the last gift I once gave D'Arga. As far as I know, it's the world's first family name.

"but... your way of fighting is not like his"

Purple's voice was trembling.

She was right, the way D'Arga fought was something more luxurious. The magic of strengthening oneself is the same, but the way one wields a sword and the way one performs oneself is like different.

"Yeah. Mahou was made by the original ancestors, but the use of cancer is different."

Not all of D'Arga's descendants were as good in stature as he was. So D'Arga figured out how he could crush a rock sword and turn it into a stone blade and fight even the smaller, lighter ones.

"He pretended to be a very strong one."

It is a story told to the Sword Ministry clan. Talk about adventure, with dragons, elves and girls.

"So I'm so happy to be able to fight Mr. Murasaki!

His eyes sparkled, and Yuki said so with a bounced voice.

"…… the strength of the Son of Man. And the end of my sword. Let me see."

Purple wipes her eyeballs with her fingertips and returns them that way with a changed attitude.

"Then..."

"Yes, please, let me take care of you at your teacher's school, too. … if the elders will allow it."

To the last thing I added, I groaned. Can't it still be in her presence? Will the elders forgive me?

"It's okay."

Purple smiles, so as to reassure me of frowning roots.

"I'm sure you won't say no."

Me and Yuki tilted their necks together at Mr. Purple, who smiled deeply.
