The Magus of Genesis

Episode 8: The Strong/MIGHTY

"It's not necessary. Warewalle doesn't need that."

"Ah, Yes."

It answers that way too clearly, and I snort by accident.

"No, but, Mr. Beor,"

"Sensei"

He controlled my words with a low voice, and Mr. Beor looked down at me arrogantly with four arms.

Lizard Man (Lizardman). They are a thorough hunting people who ask for force.

An upright four-armed lizard if you want to describe it in the end, is it? He had a thick, long tail and his body covered in green scales was successful, his thin, sharp eyes staring at me without blinking. I felt terribly intimidated because of what I was like.

"Ware admits to you. But that's not because of that stupid mahogany."

Its length exceeds four meters and its hegemony is full from all over its body.

"Because you're strong. It has nothing to do with such moves as Mahou."

I once fought him. It was when I was flying around the world looking for a way to extend my life.

"But... there are things that just strength can't do. That's what magic can solve."

"Ware doesn't think so"

To my persuasion, but Mr. Beor is not obsessed either.

"You Red Dragons are the ones who embody it the most."

On the contrary, to his words, I groaned.

Sure, I've never seen a creature stronger than Red Dragon. Even so, it's not about me, it's about my mother. Only once, I've seen her fight.

The target was a blue dragon, more than twice as big as I am now. The dragon, which struck with lightning from all over her body and a tremendous roar, instantly became dinner that evening in the palm of her mother, waved to gently stroke her.

Even myself, studying magic is not about living or anything. If you're just going to live, you just have to hunt for behemoth appropriately. I was also convinced now that my mother was wasting her time in astronomy. Dragons are too strong and too smart to just live.

"Mr. Beor does. But is there anyone else that might be interested?

"What's so weak about Warewalle -"

Mr. Beor speaks up and says.

"No, there's no such thing as a warewaller."

It is rare of him to say anything but decisive all the time, but Mr. Beor quickly and clearly reworded it.

"……… Okay. Thanks."

Nothing seems to gain even if we are negotiating any more. I judge so, and leave the cave where he dwells.

"……… You've been a good adult, haven't you?

And when I went outside, I asked Yuki walking beside me that.

"Yeah……………."

Yuki nodded powerlessly in a depressed manner.

She told me that, and if it was her personality, it would not be strange to challenge her to fight like when she was Mr. Purple.

"One just now, he's so strong. Maybe I can't win."

Regrettably, Yuki muttered so.

"Right. I think it's hard."

In Yuki and Beor, the physique difference is more than triple. Is it something like Yuki strengthening himself and weakening his opponent so that his physical abilities are finally mutually reinforcing? This also means that the physical difference becomes the difference in strength as it is.

I mean the difference between an adult and a child.

"Ugh."

Yuki raised her voice as she roared, even more regrettable that I admitted honestly.

"Well, Yuki's still small, so we're going to. Mr. Beor lives longer than I do."

He is the only one without standing up after only a few years of working out the power he has developed for hundreds of years.

"In the next decade, Yuki will have a good fight."

"No, it's always been after that."

Yuki swells her cheeks. It must be an endlessly distant story for her, still young, ten years from now. How long the hell was I feeling like that?

"Well, there's no choice but to get some help. Yuki, on my back……………"

"Oh, dear."

It's easier to put it on your back and then become a dragon than to put it on your back after being a dragon. When I turned my back on Yuki, she turned her sharp gaze to the other side, who should have been obstinate.

"Somebody, we're fighting.... that way!

Sooner or later, Yuki rushed out. I rush after her.

My physical abilities when I'm taking people's appearances are correspondingly dull. If you do it badly, you may be late for Yuki. I desperately moved my legs and managed to catch up with her...... and the sight I saw was something I couldn't call a fight very much.

From my physique, I guess I'm just a kid. A few Lizardmans, about a meter and a half old, surrounded them with a Lizardman about a minute smaller than their head.

The little Lizardman punches him in the blood, but his fist is easily taken, his arm twisted up, and he is thrust and rolled to the ground.

"Come on, 'no arms'. You're no match for us."

That's what the leader-like Lizardman says, grabbing and lifting the arms and feet of the little Lizardman rolling on the ground with four arms.

I knew immediately why the little Lizardman was called 'No Arms'. Of the four arms in Lizardman, two on the upper side. He didn't exist from the elbow.

"Stop it! Get off me!

The boy, known as' No Arms', screams and bites into the Lizardman's arm as he stretches his neck and lifts himself.

"This guy............!

Lizardman, a leader with a face to the pain, let go of his arm and beat him with the remaining three restraints on his body.

"That's it!

I interrupt and raise my voice to the Lizardmans who are suddenly stirring at the 'no arms' boy rolling on the ground again.

"Is it the Lizardman's way to surround yourself with a few smaller opponents?

"... this is the one who's been challenging me"

The leader boy said so to throw up and walked out with his back turned. The surrounding Lizardmans imitate it, and me and Yuki rush over to a 'no arm' boy left behind.

"Are you okay?

"……… Who said to help?"

But when the boy turned to him, he answered abominably.

"That is……"

I don't know. I don't know.

Would it have hurt his pride? Next to me, Yuki replied softly.

"What is it?

"Help or not, it's up to you to help, but it's not up to you to decide."

Too rambling a story, but in a way it is the truth.

The boy didn't come up with the art of saying it back either, he just pushed silently.

"If you don't like it, you have to be strong."

"What am I supposed to do!

The boy asks with biting momentum to Yuki's words, which are even more catchy.

"My arm is like this. Even the body is much smaller than those guys. How much you trained doesn't make you fat or big. How can you be strong with such a body?"

Yuki answered him properly, biting his back teeth and holding his fist.

"How much is that?"

"……… What?

"Use a bump. Use mahogany. Use the chisel. Work out the sawdust. The biggest thing just now, I aim there because I'm weak. You can't leave a lot alone in the first place."

As a matter of course...... no, to a very obvious answer for her, the boy rounds his eyes.

"Weapons, you use them… yes, they do."

This? and pointing to Yuki's stone sword being pulled out of his waist, the boy says.

"You're such a coward."

"What, why?

"It's a sign that he's weak to use such a thing."

"Yeah."

To Yuki, who snorted so honestly, I could almost blow it out by accident.

"Because you're weak, you're gonna do it."

Humans are weak. More than beasts, more than dragons, more overwhelmingly weak than elves and half-wolves and mermaids and lizards. Yuki has naturally embraced it and worked hard to win. That's not just for her personally. It has been handed down by the sword club for 500 years.

"You're bigger than me, but you have more, and you have a tail, a crust, and a candle."

Yuki stands in front of the boy and compares his back, showing his soft skin and his hard scales.

"But if I fight, I will win. I'm weak."

"What is it?

I guess he didn't listen to the boulder. To the boy who eats and hangs,

"Want to try it?

Yuki provoked it that way, feeling like she could afford it.

"I think you should stop..."

"Shut up! Can you make fun of me with these little guys and shut up!

When the boy ignored my advice and shouted, he hit Yuki...

In the next moment, I was dancing in the universe.

"What…………………?

I guess you don't understand what happened to you. The boy makes his eyes black and white as he rolls to the ground three times. Yuki doesn't use weapons or magic. I just threw it away using the power of the boy who came running at me.

Aikido. I just taught them a lot of miscellaneous concepts, but they sublimated it brilliantly to moves with hundreds of years of accumulation. Terrible clan.

"If you come this way, you'll be stronger too."

Yuki offers her hand. The boy did not turn his gaze to her...... but took that hand.

"Yes, I am. So, it hurts, it hurts, it breaks!

Yuki immediately returns his hand and tightens his joints.

"It's a good idea, because I can't break it yet."

"Not yet!? What do you mean, not yet!?

I kneel beside the screaming, twitching boy.

"Uh... What's your name?

"Why are you... Sig! It's a sig! So stop it!

Gugu, and a boy to Yuki weighing in... Sig rushed to confess his name.

"If you want to be strong by any means, I might be able to help you."

"……… you?

Sig stared at me with a frigid odor. Well, it doesn't seem strong to me how I saw it, and it's a natural reaction.

"Yes. At least, to the extent that I can defeat it."

"... If you were me, I'd still be able to take you down."

To me smiling and showing, Sig said so.

"Well, let's just say if you win, you want to come like this."

Get your hands off me, Yuki says something like that.

"What if I win?

"Well, I don't have to think about it."

Yuki replies without offense to the sig he listens to as he waves his arm, which was extreme. I guess I'm not even trying to provoke you, I'm just answering honestly.

"Look at that!

But the effect against Sig was terrible, and he fisted and turned to me.

"Yeah, yeah, well, then."

I'm sorry I seem to fool you.

While I thought so, I unraveled the magic and went back to where I was.

As the wrapped coat sticks to the flipped skin and turns into scales, the clams and hem flap and spread on both sides to form wings. His arms swell up with cockroaches, his nails stretched and pointed sharply, and his mouth stretches long as he rips to his cheeks and grows fangs.

Sig glanced up at me, staring at me with a glimpse, looking up to be caught by my growing body.

"Come on, take it."

Totally going back to being a dragon and saying that with a flame-mixed exhale, Sig fell back and butted as if he had been pushed by the pressure of words.

"Ri...... it's a dragon - ooh!!

"Yeah, that's right, I'm sorry"

I honestly apologized to him screaming.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!

He raises his voice like a scream, and Sig gets up and runs out like he's been played.

Unsurprisingly, though, the direction he ran was not behind, but ahead.

Shake his fist up, he taps it all over my nose.

"Ah."

Soon as I avoid it while I stop it, it hits my nose tip.

"Yikes... Yikes!

Sig held his fist and swung around.

"Be careful. My scales are so hard."

I guess he was lucky he didn't have as much muscle strength himself. Sig's wounds don't seem like a big deal. If poorly rigid bragging beats me for real, that's what hurts my fist.

But Sig's will still doesn't fade, and he kicks me over and over again. Beat him in the palm of his hand, kick him with his feet, hit him with his tail, and bite him with his teeth. His every attack he can think of doesn't even hurt me enough to get stung by a mosquito.

"Sig."

How many would have done that? I didn't give up even as I was already exhausted, I looked at him with a galloping tooth on my finger, and I called him by name, trying to be amazing.

"What the... what the...!

He was blurring and weeping as he bit my finger and stared at this one. I wonder how sorry I am. I guess so, I guess. Because he is.

"You're very strong."

When I said that, not only Sig but even Yuki opened his eyes to surprise.

"I was wrong to look. You're strong."

I guess I took it ironically. The chin of Giri and Sig is stretched with strength.

"Nothing in Lizardman that can go so boldly to the dragon doesn't either. Even Mr. Beor was about twice as big as you when you fought me, and I was even smaller than half of what I am now."

But the words kept coming out of his mouth, and my fingers were released.

Being challenged by creatures bigger than yourself is truly horrible. All the more so if you know you're definitely a stronger opponent than you are.

Even Yuki couldn't challenge Mr. Beor, who knew he was going to lose.

"The strength of your heart is elusive. But the body and the technology don't match it."

It's like the opposite of me. With that in mind, he returns to his figure and kneels, aligning himself with the height of his gaze.

"I think I can help you with that if you come to us"

"……… enough to defeat you?

With a mixed eye of suspicion and expectation, Sig stared at me.

"That's enough. It's easy to take me down."

It was a sincere word, but the color of suspicion in Sig's eyes becomes stronger.

"... Okay. Honestly, it's frigid... but I'm just gonna take a little faith in what you're saying."

But he sighed and said so.
