The Magus of Genesis

Episode 31: The Spirit Horse of the Wave/EACH - UISGE

"Shisei, I can do it!

"Looks like we've managed to get ready."

To the ruffle dragging the big ship, that's what I replied.

After using the Spirit to make a calculation to run the ship, it was almost a whole year.

Finally, we're ready.

Bringing a size ship to the coast where Ruffle could board was quite a big deal.

It was visible how much harder it was to bring it as it was than to carry herself, so I carried it in the waterway for each ingredient and part, and took months to assemble it next to the mermaids inside.

In the meantime, food and living goods were brought to me by the Centaurs through the streets, which were otherwise like a collection of Lufl's activities over the years.

"Well then, Lynn... it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Ugh!

Ruffle and tier, and me.

Confirming that everyone had boarded the ship, Lynn laid hands on the demonic conductor drawn to the coast.

"Thou, that which flows, that which is without form, that which is cold"

There are various aspects to everything.

"Something sick, something moving forward, a calming wave that carries us."

May the flames that burn and destroy all things warm people's bodies and make delicious dishes. In the waves of the sea, which seem whimsical, there is always a stream in them that is convenient to us.

"Show yourself before me! Your name is..."

Just cut it out.

"Wavehorse (Aha Ishke)!

Magic power poured into the magical circle beneath the sea through the magic conductor along with Lynn's spell, and suddenly a great wave rose.

The sea water becomes a horsehead, and the tip of the white-foaming wave becomes deflected.

Then I wondered if a forefoot and torso had emerged from the sea, and the lower body with the tail of the fish jumped onto the water and sank again.

Lynn wraps her hip fin around the neck of the wave horse, wrapping the chain attached to the tip of the ship, and ties the edge to the ship again.

"Aha Ishke. Pull this ship, move on!

Following Lynn's orders, the wave horse began to make good progress.

A Spirit is a cut picture that cuts the natural phenomena that exist in this world into the shape you like. When I heard of the Spirit of the Water, I was unintentionally thinking of a whimsical, migratory beauty. The water wheel didn't move at all, all the more so.

But there was absolutely no need to be imprisoned by such an image. You should have just taken out your necessary nature, just like Lynn created a giant undine.

Aha Ishke is a monster who looks like a horse passed down to Scotland and is said to live in sea water. The name Kelpy may be more famous, but Kelpy is an aquatic horse living in freshwater, technically another monster.

Nothing. The name was fine, but it was easy to convey the image to Lynn, so I let her borrow the name. It's the name of a monster that isn't originally on the brink of dragging people on their backs into the ocean to kill them, but I haven't told them around so they'll be fine.

It was the Spirit who cut only waves in a direction convenient to us, even in the waves that stood in the sea. Waves do not occur in the water, but only on the surface. So Aha Ishke won't drag us into the water. Because the deflection of the foaming white waves must definitely be out on the water.

"If we go at this pace, we'll likely get there in a whole day or so"

"Is it going to take that long?

Looking at the wavelength, Tia asked back with a fed up look. It takes hours to fly through the sky, so I can't help it.

"Nothing in particular until Aha Ishke disappears, and let's just take it slow."

That said, I fell asleep. It's inconvenient not to be able to move the ship by river flow or sail, but it's not all bad. It doesn't flush on its own, so if only the wave horses would go straight ahead, it wouldn't mean they'd go the wrong way.

"Well, I'll get you dinner!

"What?"

With no time to stop, Lynn jumped into the sea.

"Lynn!"

The speed is stable and difficult to understand because there is no comparable object around, but the wave horse is progressing at a considerable speed. The water column put up by Lynn quickly moved backwards and disappeared.

"……… I'm going to help!

"Wait. What should we do when we are gone until the teacher!?

Tia pulled and stopped my clothes on the edge of the ship.

"Lynn knows where she's going, right? Then, at worst, if you wait there, you'll swim and you'll fly."

"Aah......... is that so too? Sorry."

Apparently, I was losing my cool, too. Even if she couldn't catch up by swimming, Lynn could fly.

Lynn came back with a ton of fish, then two hours later.

"Speaking of which, the ship moved on. I totally forgot. I searched."

"In the first place, the food is properly packed back and forth. That's what I told you.

"That, is it? I'm sorry, Seiko."

I dropped my shoulder disappointed at her saying in a light tone as she baked the fish I had taken. Does this kid know how worried he's been for the last two hours?

"I guess it's because I'm young. I feel like I've been back to my childhood phosphorus lately."

Something I forgot, something free.

I thought I'd calmed down a lot, but maybe that was aging...

"Ahahaha. Seisei, something's a little siggy"

"Oh yeah... I can't really forbid him sympathy"

Thinking about it now, I can't help but think that you've dealt with this kid well.

Well, I think it might be my problem.

"Yes, yes. It was after we landed."

When I ended up finishing my meal with the fish Lynn had picked up and I was taking a break.

Unexpectedly, Tia cut it out like that.

"Ruffle, get that out. … yes, keep this on."

What Ruffle took out was like a hooded cape. Available in sizes for everyone but the tier.

"This?

"Concealed cloth. If you put this on and do magic, you can put my hidden form on others. Whatever you guys are, Ruffle can't stand out."

I see. That's......... To be honest, I wasn't thinking. There is so much distance between the cave and the village that I thought it would be okay if I snuck away, but if there is something like this, it would be more reassuring.

"Heh, that's very convenient. Tomorrow, tell me how to use it."

Lynn, turning the cloth upside down and checking the touch in an impressive way.

"All you have to do is wear it and use it and nothing. Because I'll do the magic."

"Ah, that's right."

Saying, Lynn weaves a cape and wears a hood.

"Shall we try it? Put yourself in the shadows. Grass Voices, Cat Footsteps, Fish Exhales, Worm Heartbeats"

With a spell, Tia circles around Lynn in circles. Then the gold particles splattered apart from its wings, and every sign disappeared there the moment I thought it encircled Lynn's body.

"......... eh, am I disappearing with this now?

"Do you hear voices? Yeah, I don't see it at all."

Even if I reached out to Lynn just now, I can't even touch her.

"Uh... Doctor"

As I searched for Lynn by hand, Tia coughed as if it were hard to tell.

"I don't see it, I don't feel like I'm touching it, I'm not there, I'm not touching it."

"Eh?"

Make a noise with the parsley and the phosphorus's hood is removed.

"Seisei…… that, a bit embarrassing"

My hand was hitting her chest as much as I wanted as I said with my face bright red.

"Oh, I'm sorry!

In a hurry I can pull my hand in.

"And well... if you find out you're there even if you don't see it, the attack will hit you, so be careful"

Tia tells me to get back on my mind.

I felt worse than anyone.
