The Magus of Genesis

Lesson 21 Origin/ORIGIN

I don't know for myself when that started.

Was it when the spirits that Mel created swallowed my manipulative salamandra?

Or of the Influence Master that Ala serves, when he also created the art of materializing shadows?

Or... maybe it was when I heard Innis had met the art of immortality that I had pursued in such a hurry.

I gave up half my efforts to understand all sorcery.

Magic can be handled by anyone, and whoever uses it can have the exact same effect and give it to others. Its groundbreaking technologies were specialized and advanced in their respective fields.

The magic of this world is made by name.

A good wizard was that which knew more names.

But not magicians. They can create and create new names themselves.

A good magician is something that can create new concepts, not just stereotypes.

That is, something with more unknowns.

The unknown is not just something you don't know.

Ahead of the knowledge I have now. I'm talking about knowledge that's still untouchable.

And my knowledge is basically just the scope of what I learned in my previous life.

- The knowledge is not connected to the "coming" of this world.

Now that I no longer have the advantage of previous life knowledge, I am just a wizard of the primitive era.

"You look boring."

When I thought of it as depressing, I was accidentally called out and looked up.

"Nina...... you got a job?

"I'm off today. Because I worked to death yesterday."

She answers that with a leak of raw yawn and sleeps in bed with her. It was only after the date that Nina returned from the treatment of the victim brought in yesterday in a fire.

"Are you the one who doesn't have to go to school?

"Well, yeah."

Honestly, there's very little more you can teach me when you go to college. The students are all excellent and their magical arms are way ahead of mine.

"Don't you like the development of the village?

"No way. That's a great pleasure."

That is true without a multiplier. There is more joy than that, although I remember a little loneliness for the people of the village of Hiiro to leave my hands.

"It's just sad to think I'm no longer useful."

"Was it that much that you were useful?

When he made a weak noise, he returned with harsh words.

"Quite... there was, I think..."

Don't lose confidence when Nina tells you that.

"Well, compared to you, who have saved so many people as doctors, you might not be able to help."

To my words, Nina looked weird. I have something to say, but I can't find a good word. That's the look on your face.

"Nothing. I... I'm not doing it because I want to be useful or anything. Anyway, humans die one day… I just don't think they'll die that soon."

Traceable, Nina tells. Unlike me, she does everything cleverly, but I'm not good at just telling her what I thought. It seemed like she was trying so hard to tell me something.

"So you say... there's no such thing as wanting to be useful. If you're going to lose my job, you better."

Nina's loss of work means no more injuries, no more sickness. Surely that would be one ideal. I... what do you think? Can you say enough that the people of the village of Hiiro will no longer need my hand?

"…… no. After all, I'm not going to be able to break it off like you."

A little thought, and I answered that. I am glad that the village of Hiiro develops. There is no doubt about that.

But when she asked me if I was happier that there was nothing I could do, it was definitely no.

"You're not talking about me now!

Then Nina said that like she was angry.

Uh, yeah. What's the meaning of this? Didn't I tell you exactly my story right now?

"I already... I wonder how many years we've been dating. You know as much as I'm trying to say."

"Sorry, I've been dating for nine hundred and fifty-five years, but I don't know about boulders."

Calculating the number of years and saying it, I think again, will it be that much already? It's a long, long time to be able to repeat my life more than ten times in my previous life. For so long Nina dated me to run a magic school and bring me the village of Hiiro......

Hmm?

Something just plundered my back of my brain. What is it?

"Approximately, a thousand years. I don't think it's a short time for an elf, but you've been hanging out with me a lot."

"Ma, it's better than being in that forest all the time. Because with you, at least I don't get bored."

Nina smiles and says that.

"So, what do you do next?

The moment I heard that word, I was struck like a lightning bolt.

"Oh yeah... you mean that!

Laughter leaks unexpectedly from the back of my throat.

"Nina, thanks! I remember!

"Hey, hey!?

I hugged Nina and lifted her light body without enough.

"I forgot... why did I forget such an easy thing!

"Hey, what, what!?

Keep going, screaming as Nina twirls around her body.

Until earlier, the odd discomfort that was standing like a dark cloud in my heart had completely disappeared and the sunshine surrounded me.

"Stop!

Nina's knife pierces between my eyebrows, out of balance and falls on the bed with everything intact.

"…… so. What did you forget?"

"That's why I was born in this world."

I answered, staring into Nina's eyes in front of me.

Yes. Everything was the other way around.

"I did not study magic and build a school to develop the village of Hiiro. I built a school to study magic."

The mystery.

Strange things.

Unsolve the mystery.

I've come to different worlds looking for impossible events, heartbreaking experiences, and the debacle of an endless world!

Magic is convenient. It can be handled by anyone, and whoever uses it can have the exact same effect and give it away to others. That groundbreaking technology will dramatically develop civilization and make this world richer and more comfortable. Needless to say, that's great. Even romance must be overflowing.

But it's boring.

It's not funny. Because it's like that - isn't it the same as science?

If I could have been interested in that, I don't exist here right now.

"That's it."

Kotsun, and Nina stick their nose tips and forehead to each other, deepening their grin.

"That face. Your usual face when you say things that aren't even roku.... Wow, that looks like a fun face"

Her blue eyes glowed and reflected my face.

"Give me that face... always, you are. I can help you, too."

"Nee, na......"

I am so impressed that I can put my strength into the arm that I turned on her shoulder.

"I'm home!

"Wow."

That's when Cruse's voice sounded and we jumped out of bed at the same time.

"Father, Nina, I'm home."

"Ah, oh, welcome back, Cruse"

"Today......... you were pretty quick"

Answer Kluse, who shows his face in the bedroom, pretending to be calm.

"Yes, without your father, we won't be able to do much research. I felt ridiculous going to school without your father, so I came back."

He looks like a child himself, but Cruse is sixty years old. Elementary school graduated a long time ago and now works in college. As a matter of position, it's strange to be a colleague of the Alas.

"By the way."

Cruse peeks into Nina's face sitting in the bed as she lowers her point of view as she folds her hips to the side.

"Nina, you're blushing, are you okay?

"I'm fine. It was just a little hot"

"Yeah............ it's winter now............?

Cruse looked surprised and looked at me as he asked.

"It's nothing. When she asked me to raise the temperature because it was cold, I just raised it too much."

"I see. Father, please be careful because you don't like additions and subtractions."

Yes, it's nothing.

It's just that Nina had lost sight of her purpose, helped me, and she was just confirming that friendship.

That's all.

Between me and her, there's no way anything sexually aroused will bud now.

Because.

I've been flabbergasted by her a long time ago.
