The Magus of Genesis

Episode 27: Determination/Preparedness

"A thousand years…… a thousand years………………"

I walk down the hall whining.

I was also surprised that Innis would normally be willing to live for a thousand years if I were surprised it would take that long. Is that girl really human...

"Let it go, let it go!

As I walked blindly thinking about it, Mel stopped me.

"What's going on?

"Look -!

When she pulled her hand and headed to the courtyard, Yuka and Ala were about to join forces.

"Halberd!

The shadow sword in Ala's hand changes into an axe spear with a long pattern stretched out in a nutshell. It's not like spiritual sorcery or conferred sorcery, it's another sorcery. It was a technique of lineage known as spell.

Spirit magic is the art of cutting spirits out of natural phenomena.

Granting magic is the art of changing the nature of matter.

Then what is the spell? In fact, there is no very clear definition.

Rather, it is correct that we are calling it a spell by flipping a technique that is neither equivalent to spiritual magic nor conferred magic.

Yuka flies an axe spear that is swinging, but an axe spear with an axe blade and a sickle-like protrusion on the side is an attack not just when poking, but when pulling. Anyway, if that's one bottle, it seems like it's hard inside to avoid a few shadow magicians swinging at it, too.

"Crossbow!

There, the shadow of Ala, who stood behind him, unleashed an arrow.

At some point, you can even do that!

The spell is not magic. If you can't use it in a single word by giving it a name or carving a letter, you can't make someone else use it. Then why is it that Ala is allowing activation by one word, this was already just the fruit of a foolish training.

Originally a magic spell is just something that aids and makes the image easier to use. It's like using a rule to draw a straight line. Without it, the line can be drawn, but neither power nor precision can be compared.

We use it in action by lifting it up to the point of practical use through an unrelenting effort.

Yuka strikes down the flying arrow with her sword.

"Light Precision (WILL OWISP)!

With that gap, a number of spheres of light were emitted from Ala's palm. This is spiritual magic. The light spheres each fly towards Yuka while drawing a different orbit. When Yuka's sword cut it off, Wilowisp blew it up with his pussy and impacted her sword.

The impact is not powerful enough to destroy the Stone Sword, but powerful enough to break the attitude. On top of that, the blown Willowwhisp shed light and crushed Yuka's eyes, creating more shadows for Ala's shadow master.

"Spear Rain!

The long stretched shadow remains a spear and heads to Yuka as it was bounced.

At last, Kensei removed the sword without being able to carry out a saturated attack from all directions with loss of vision.

"……… Here we go."

And to the axe spear thrust against his neck, with his hands up, Yuka declares her defeat.

"What…………?

Ala raised her voice of confusion more as she poked her axe spear at her.

"Win... mine, are you winning………?

"In the meantime, it's one."

Yuka's expression was refreshing, backed by Ala, who opened her eyes when she said she couldn't believe it. I guess I'm happier with the growth of my disciples than with remorse.

"Congratulations, Ala-kun!

Jump tight and Mel blesses Ala.

Whether she finally returned to me to that voice, Ala looked around and seemed to realize for the first time that Mel and I existed.

"Doctor."

Ala turned to me and ran over with a tense face.

"Still, there's only one bottle... from Dr. Yuka, I could take one"

"Yeah. Well done."

Yuka said from time to time that Ala has no talent.

After a hundred years of shortening the spell by just a few seconds to one word, I guess Ala is certainly lacking in talent. The difference is obvious when compared to a genius and an unsupported Innis or Mel loved by the Spirit.

But still. He didn't rot, he didn't give up, he built up his efforts, and finally let them get to his fingertips.

"I've made up my mind for a long time."

Always polite of him, but especially correct his residence, Ala said.

"If I could take one from Dr. Yuka... I would try to convey this thought."

Eh.

"Hey, wait a minute, Ala"

"No. I can't wait. Doctor, I've been..."

Ala panicked. Stuck at me. When he does that to a four-legged man of both height and weight, he has a feeling of compression that almost covers him.

"I liked Dr. Nina!

That way.

Why are you telling me in the first place?

I had no idea what that meant, but Nina herself seems to have a proper confession to make.

In the meantime, I was going to accompany Ala, and for some reason I followed her to Mel.

I thought that I might not be needed or that I might get in the way, but I couldn't refuse to let Ala do anything about it.

By the way, Yuka seems not at all interested in the whereabouts of her apprentice's love, so she waved her best to give it a light drop off. I appealed with my eyes to follow me if I could, but I guess I'm not going to cooperate at all because I was laughing after my gaze matched perfectly.

"Welcome back, Father"

"Welcome back...... what's up?

When I get home, Patapata and Cruse greet me, and Nina leans her neck against the two four-legged species with her face out from behind them.

I see, did Mel follow me to get Cruse out?

"Dr. Nina. I've always liked you. Marry me!

Arrow tip I thought, and suddenly Ala cut out like that at the front door.

Surprised, you look terrific, don't you?

"Sorry, I can't"

Nina's answer to this is also surprisingly straightforward. I never thought Nina would be okay, but she flirted in a second, Ala.

"Why is that?

But Ala was not frightened.

"Nothing. I don't hate you, but I don't even like you."

"Are you sure that's all?"

It stuffs against Nina, who relentlessly trumpetes with honesty.

"What else could it be?"

"Because there's someone else I like. Why not?

"…… It's none of your business."

"Yes."

Clearly, he ran out of words.

"I like you. So I want you to be happy."

In her sincere eyes, Nina is also frightened by the boulder.

She looked at me more, as if asking for help.

"……… Ala, do you have a moment?

"Yes!"

It doesn't matter. Even though I interrupted, for some reason, Ala replies well.

"I am undoubtedly the longest with Nina."

I guess there is no difference in my words. Ala nods deeply.

"Let me assure you that I am. Nina doesn't have anyone she likes."

But then, Ala was overtly disappointed. He'd rather not change his expression much, but his tail and ears drool, so I know how emotions move.

"Doesn't Nina like your father?

Now Cruse does that.

"I've told you many times. Me and this guy aren't a couple... they're not even my favorite people."

Nina answered that with a bitter face, gripping the hem of her clothes.

"Bye."

Suddenly Mel pinches his mouth in a steady descent silence.

"Of all the people Dr. Nina knows, who do you like the most -?

That seems to resemble Ala or Cruse's question, as if it were a different one.

"I don't care if you're not here. You don't have to be someone who's not alive anymore, a man or a woman, a person or not a person. Of all the people Dr. Nina knows, who is your favorite person?

I couldn't escape saying, it was a question.

"That, is………"

Finally, Nina's eyes, wolfish and wandering, turn to me.

That's a terribly weak gaze that you can't always think of as her.

"That's what I mean."

"No, but that is………"

I guess I got that gaze as an answer. Yeah, I snorted at Mel, but Nina just whined about something in her mouth with her tofu, and she didn't deny it.

"He's my favorite person, I've lived with him all my life, but he's not a couple. In other words……………………"

Mel glistened his eyes hard and stuck his finger in Nina's face, saying:

"I mean brothers!

"- Yes! He's like a badly made brother, this guy."

Nina looks relieved and slaps me in the head.

Ala still didn't seem convinced, but she kept her mouth shut.

"…… Thank you, Mel."

"Eh."

On her way home, she glanced wide open at her eyes and gave a look of confusion when she said thank you to Mel for sneaking up on her.

"Seisei, why did you suddenly thank Mel?

Rather than being blurry with me, that's obviously with genuine confusion.

"Why? Why -?

Mel was reminded from the bottom of her heart that she was completely natural when she questioned her insistence.
