The Magus of Genesis

Lesson 2 Stone Thread/Stone Thread

I awoke to the crystal clear sound I could hear from nowhere.

Chile. Chile. Chin, and. Sounds like something hard might bump into you.

It sounds more transparent, unlike metal.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I wake you?

When I woke up my upper body exploring the origin of the sound, there was a figure of Yuki.

"No… it's okay. Because I slept well."

I guess it was just the right time to say I was woken up. I'm not sleepy, and my head is refreshed. There's nothing I can do about the pain running all over my body, but it's still healing enough to wake me up.

"What's wrong, that?

The source of the clear sound was the bag Yuki had in his hands. It's big enough to hold, and you can hear chillies and fine noises from inside.

"Kind of. I picked it up."

She took a grain out of it and put it on her palm and showed it to me. Small black stone about the size of a bean grain. I immediately thought to myself of the stone's identity, which seemed uncharacteristically uncharted.

"This is the Stone Sword's..."

"Yeah. Yeah. Stone Sword Shards"

Once Yuki... and Yuka loved it, a stone sword made by pinching a stone blade in a tree. That stone sword, shattered in battle with the Fire Dragons and helped by the sword clubs of history who rode there. It's a shard.

"I know it won't be anything if I collect it."

Yuki smiled troubled and told him to mock himself.

The souls of the swordmen returned to heaven after their service, Cruse said. If so, Yuki's got it. It's just a stone, a fine piece of obsidian.

"Yeah, that's not true."

But I shake my head to the side, lay my palm over Yuki's hand, and wrap the stone shards around it.

"There's no longer a cage of souls. Even if it's just a stone, if a living human finds something in it, it makes sense there. If it makes sense, it's magic."

As my scales pulled out take on the role of a telecom in a far away place.

The edge of what was originally one can never be interrupted.

─ ─ At least in this world.

"Here."

When I pulled my palm off, the stone shards emitted phosphorescent light over Yuki's hand.

If she turns to be guided by that light, the bag she placed on the desk earlier shines in the same way.

"They're not dead yet."

When I said it, Yuki nodded and called the name with his palm up.

"Come... Blackstone Sword!

The moment. Countless stones danced through the universe as if they were creatures, surrounding Yuki's surroundings. It's like every single one of them is a single sword. Yuki wore a thousand blades on him.

"Wow......"

Yuki flashes her arms as she opens her eyes to the sight. The army of swords followed the movement faithfully, cleaving the void into thousands as if it were a small storm. Now, the walls and furniture in a small room are not as scratched as hairs. It's a horrible, precise slaughter.

After more than a dozen beautiful slashes like a dance, Yuki makes a move to pay for the blood of her sword and fit it in her sheath. The innumerable blades, when instantly wrapped in one place in conjunction with the motion, became a short sword waved in her hand.

"As much as I've lost my soul, Kenbe won't abandon your brother... because"

"Did you hear that?

"Yeah. Somehow, I just felt that way"

With a lit smile, Yuki shook her head to the side.

And as I moved those long ears to explore my surroundings, I sat on the edge of the bed with a full smile on my face, hugging me all the time.

"Eh heh. Ouch."

"Kyu, what's the sudden matter?

"It's rare that no one else can ever be sweet."

I do feel like two or three of the five people have always been there for me since I was admitted. I guess it's because I've been demodulating a lot and I've been asleep.

With salted plums that care not to cause pain to my body but stick as closely as I can, Yuki rubs the rind and cheeks against me. Its sweetness as if it were a nostalgic dog, its fluffy, fragrant sweet smell, and the large, soft feel pressed against its arms, are mostly as it is remembered.

"Yuki, you..."

Just one point. Only a long ear peeking through that red-haired gap is different from her once was.

"… Are you confused? Well... if I were you, I'd suddenly remember the memories of my previous life..."

But that was the symbol of guilt for me.

Before I got my memories back, with other manners...... and she treated me right at the fold. Yuka's daughter, Yuki, and I seem like a different person.

Of course, I'm so glad she got her memories back. But... the Yuka child. If you're saying you've sacrificed your precious little sister's daughter, that wasn't something I could have seen.

"Mmm. Either that or it feels like it's fallen."

But whether or not he knew my thoughts, Yuki put his index finger tip on his lip and tilted his neck.

"You fell for it?

"'I wonder why I've been so attracted to one of your mother's acquaintances since I first met her.'"

And I laughed so hard at it.

"Since the first time we met? 'Cause that's such a bare gesture………………………………………"

"You're right. To the dragon guy I met for the first time, and who's the greatest in the village and has a wife, I like it - not that I can say it! I was pretty worried that you might have gone crazy."

Yuki can put a lot of effort into his arms hugging me.

"But you don't have to put up with it anymore............?

Slaughter the Red Dragon as well, descendants of the sword department. Probably the most powerful sword user in the world was grabbing my clothes sleeves with a terribly meticulous look on his face.

There's no way you can say no with that look on your face.

When he strokes his head, Yuki delightedly narrows his eyes and takes that hand and shakes it.

"Now it's time... we'll be together forever. Brother."

A string of fine stones made a sound of chilli joining hands as if they were threads.
