The Man Picked Up By the Gods (Reboot)
Baking charcoal.
The next day.
Today, for one day, I decided to use it to care for the abandoned pits and charcoal baking.
I used the coal I had stockpiled up on so far, but it's time for the rest to run low. If you don't cook it before it's completely used up, you'll run out of deodorant slime bait. Besides, the weed I mowed the other day would be about to be in good shape...
"Oh, that feels good"
I guess the weather went on without rain. If it was dry, I would have dried it with alchemy, but I could confirm the proper dry grass.
"Sa, would you like to use it"
Gather the grass scattered on the ground with a new pitchfork.
"Ho, this is quite..."
A magical tool that activates the magic of physical strengthening when magic is cast onto patterned fittings. The effect was illusioned as the weight of the pitchfork in his hand vanished for a moment. Weeds also gather together light and funny.
Results are visible from simple tasks, especially when pushing weeds gathered in a mountain into a dimension home. This is quite fun.
"Next time... we'll mow the weed for next time."
Then you want to take it out of the item box… "Sickle." Light novels usually appear as a weapon, but this is a farm tool. The shape is from the pattern of the object that made the sickle for one hand giant, two vertical and parallel bars pop up against the blade.
"This is... this is how it works, right?
The same hardware as the pitchfork is on the two bars, so I'll hold it there. Then the giant sickle is parallel to the ground. He put the tip of the blade to sleep with it facing forward and left it hanging in the air. I haven't used it before, so I'm not sure, but I'm sure I'm not mistaken.
"Yo!"
Take your right hand forward, pull your left hand. Most of the bladed grass was just knocked down. But it's a little out, and it seems like the right way to use it. Then I only have practice later.
"Heh, heh, heh... yeah"
Repeated trials and errors and exercises for an hour made me more and more efficient. The important thing is to build a blade muscle just like a knife. It is better to be strongly aware of hip twists than arms when shaking. The strength of the arm just seems to support it and feels good enough. The area that hits the grass is close to the tip of the blade.
If you protect these and shake the sickle, the grass touching the tip of the blade can be mowed to make you feel good. In addition, the range of mowing at one time was widened by shaking with the hips.
Mowed grass and grass not yet mowed. twitching and pushing the boundaries between the two sides. It is more efficient than a one-handed sickle that can only be mowed on hand and is fun to use successfully. This was a good buy inside too.
"... this much better"
That's it for mowing the grass, cutting out the wood to be charcoaled from the foot.
Of course I still use it here, the axe of magic tools. The axe weighs quite a bit and that is also the source of power...... this axe does not lighten by incorporating magic tools, allowing the user to handle it lightly.
Personally, this one is a lot easier to use than attack magic.
You should have four or five trees. Cut down is the task of carrying. Later, I drop the branches, break them into moderate sizes, and just bake them...... the sun is rising to the heavenly edge at some point.
Do you want to take a break for lunch?
...? This sound...
"Abrasion."
Slightly shift your body to the side. After a moment, an iron ball passed where my head was.
"Be careful. Yikes!
Passed iron balls. If you pay attention to the iron slime, it won't move from where it fell.
"You can go."
Saying so, Iron rolled (...) into a sphere again toward the path of climbing the abandoned pit.
... Iron and metal have been growing unexpectedly lately.
When I joined the Warcraft Crusade in the Abandoned Pit. You remembered stroking your body and turning it into a sphere, or if you were letting them practice deformation, the metal would first become a sphere, followed by you could become a sphere to the iron.
I only thought I was growing up a little bit... but a few days later, metal and iron were able to move around freely while still in the sphere.
Looking into it, the body seemed to be able to move the inner nucleus quickly and freely, even with hard and heavy metal, and they were rolling in the direction they wanted to go with the movement of the center of gravity by the sphere's body and nucleus. I think it was a coincidence at first, but I now wear the coincidence completely as a "means to move faster”.
In fact, the two dullest types of movement in my slime are now competing for one or two at travel speed. Besides, these two types even acquire a new skill called "Fast Travel Lv.1”.
Well, most of all, that's the story of a flat ground with no slope, and on the slopes it rolls and falls without defying gravity...
However, from the person (slime) and others, that seems to be fun, and they frequently roll off the hill during the day when they are left alone. Plus if you gain too much momentum there, you course out, and sometimes it flies softly from above, as you just did. The body is very dangerous because it is metal.
Metal and irons are also growing in number with daily luxurious bait. It's all rolling the same way.
... I think I'll make you a special course in some pit...
Let's make a plan soon.
After lunch, I finally start charcoal grilling.
Start by filling the broken wood from the back of the kiln until it is of the appropriate size, and load a bunch of dried weeds and chopped branch leaves in front. And ignition. I tried to use the ignition magic tool that Mr. DiNorm gave me as a test piece, but the handle from the tip where the fire comes out is moderately long and easy to use.
All you have to do is burn the fire at the entrance for a while and wait for the heat to go through the kiln. Then gradually white smoke began to rise from the chimney. Wait as this smoke, which adds more and more momentum, ignites the fire until it eventually turns clear and slightly blue. And when the smoke changes, block the flues and entrances with stone and condensed red soil, limiting the flow of air.
... sounds easy to put into words, but it was tough until I got used to the work and grabbed the timing.
It wasn't until I came to this world that I started charcoal grilling. I didn't have the environment and time in my previous life, I just admired watching TV shows and how they were done online. There is no information other than such a memory, and many times I have accidentally burned out the contents of the kiln or, conversely, extinguished the fire before it became charcoal.
That's what I'm used to now. I know from experience for a while that there is still a change in smoke, and I can afford a relaxing view. But it's a little long to keep boggling and waiting...
"... Strengthen your battle power"
It is essential to reach the Schulz Sea of Trees. We're going to gather information and crusade the Warcraft, but that's not all we can say. Is there anything else we can do? I don't think it will work with a burning blade, and in the direction of polishing my technology...
This thought led to the rise of four candidates.
Candidate # 1 "Enhancement of Equipment”
Not just the Great Tree Sea, I basically dominate melee combat with my body and weapons. Put in good weapons and protective gear for that. I guess this is pretty basic...
Candidate # 2 “Magic Training and Development”
Whatever it is for living magic, I honestly don't think my offensive magic arm is that expensive. Although you can handle all attributes, an adventurer with experience specializing in magic would go further up. I can't help it. I just have to train and get skilled, too.
It's just that I have an advantage of my previous life's knowledge. It might be easier if we could use this to produce some magic that we can use. Well, I need information on what to do and what kind of environment to do that...... wait for the guild paperwork.
Candidate # 3 “Study of Drugs and Poisons”
I have the knowledge of the medicine I received when I came here. I've only used this knowledge to make medicines so far, but if I want to make it, it's possible to make poisons. Plus Poison and Medicine. I can use the help of slime, which is good for poisons and medicines, and now I can order and get the materials I need. It would be one hand to try to make toxins for combat by combining these.
Fortunately, Mr. Griciera. Mr. Faye. Mr. Leelyn. Some of you are going to be the one to talk to after just a few thoughts.
Candidate # 4 “Developing New Tools”
Keep it up. I don't know if I can say it's new... but it's a survival product from a previous life, or a convenient commodity? I try to reproduce something like that with this material. If it's already there, that's fine, and if it's not there and helpful, it's all hail. I don't have any specific ideas yet... Ah.
I heard metal noises from afar.
"You fell again..."
Which one now? I'm not too worried because I know I'll say I'm fine with those two types falling once and for all, but I want you to stop falling as much as possible. I know I've been glad to be able to move faster since I wore my deformation to the sphere...?
"Wait a minute, huh? That one deforms the body into a sphere, just like any other slime extends the body tentacly. It's just metal because of the properties of the species…"
Could it be... if we specify the shape here, it could also be in the form of a blade or blunt instrument? I think it was also because I rounded it up when it became a sphere... if you shaped it with my hand at first and taught it carefully... it's possible.
When I realized it, I couldn't help but try.
Immediately I'll call in the two types and try to get the iron in the shape of a knife with my hands as I watch the kiln.
"Ooh! I can go! I can do this!
Being a sphere day after day seemed to improve Slime's own technology. Put your hands on him and support him, and the general shape will be ready soon. All you have to do is thin out the details, the area that touches the blade...
"It's like this for now, what do you say?
Instruct them not to move from a raised state and try it out with a bunch of dried grass.
"... I see"
I'm sure my face is burning.
The sharpness of the iron slime knife is...... bad. There are still thickness tears and distortions on the blade. If this was from a store, it would definitely be crude.
But the bundle of grass cut off. I said I could do something with it back and forth like a little snuggle, but it must have been broken. Be more polite, grind the blade. If I can fix the problem in future training... I've got enough results to expect.
"If you decide so...... do it!
I even kept polishing my iron and metal until the kiln was ready.
And the charcoal grill failed.
