The Marquess’s Amnesia

Episode Twelve: Your husband's mundane

In conclusion, he was licking the child's health.

A lot of substitute children came to see my husband and me and led me to various stores. Also earlier, the children introduced me to their friends.

There were flower shops made of cloth, populi and dry flower shops, glass finishing shops, sausage and bacon shops, pancake shops and various shops. It was also hard to resign my husband from trying to buy me something first to go, but it was very hard to go with the children's infinite strength more than that. Usually, I only exercise enough to take a short stroll through your garden, my legs hurt and now I'm allowed to rest in the orphanage talking room.

The colloquial room was a gentle and warm atmosphere with stunning but children's paintings decorating the walls and various patterns and types of sofas slightly worn out. It's not surprising that there will be more traces of repairs on the couch because we're taking on all those healthy children.

I'm sitting on the couch where Alice told me she was "the most, most popular". Elsa, kneeling at my feet, was putting a wet cloth on my heel and wiping the seeping blood.

"Sorry, I should have made it a softer material and a lower heel shoe"

Elsa told me from the bottom of her heart that she seemed sorry she had a shoe rub.

"It's okay. Because I didn't think the kids would miss you so much. Phew, every kid is just a good kid."

I remember the smiles of my children and I zeroed my laughter naturally.

Elsa's just a little bit too, but, yeah, she loosened her expression.

Then Mr. Frederick came back to the talking room with the first aid kit in his hand. They even went to get the carriage.

"Ma'am, are you okay?

"Yes, thank you for taking the time to do so more than that"

"No, because it's natural. Elsa, take this."

Mr. Frederick modestly shook his head to the side and handed the first aid kit to Elsa. Elsa received it and took the disinfectant and wound medicine, gauze and bandage out of it to carefully treat my shoe rub. The bandage is huge, I said Elsa didn't hear it. She wrapped the bandage around my leg as she pretended to. Elsa is very stubborn at times like this.

"Thank you, Elsa.... Mr. Frederick, will your husband and Master Alf not return yet?

"I think it's time to go back"

My husband was the one who first noticed that I had a shoe rub. My husband led me this far by suddenly holding me up and wishing the children would let me rest. And when Elsa was lifted, she realized that my sock heel was stained with blood and was rushed here.

With the faces of the children about to cry, "Dear Liliana, does it hurt?" "I'm sorry," he worried about my shoe rubbing. I laughed, okay, but the kids didn't laugh, and the alf I saw took the kids out. My husband had a friendly bickering with Elsa, sticking with me until earlier saying he was worried and couldn't wait, but the kids came to tell me, "I'm a customer to the Marquis," and he said, "Never walk! Sir, that's an order! Absolutely!," he pressed, leaving with the children.

"... on this foot, won't you be able to go see Cedric?

I looked down at my feet and squealed.

My husband has written to my parents, the Alwyn family, first thing in the morning to ask for a visit, so as soon as I got back to you, I was planning to stop by the Alwyn family on my way home from the orphanage, which I may not be able to do with this leg.

"It's okay, ma'am, because your husband is willing to carry you with his wife"

I blinked my eyes at the words Mr. Frederick said with a smile all the time. My husband held me like a princess, and I was just thinking about going home and there's going to be a fire coming out of my face. I held my cheeks with both hands and leaned down on my face.

"Well, that's troubling... embarrassing stuff, and Cedric startles me"

I could easily imagine Cedric looking amazed with purple eyes all round. Of course you look cute like that, but you have to get back to me first to see that face.

"... but did you get a response from the Alwyn family?

"Unfortunately, no reply yet."

Mr Frederick told me like I was in trouble.

If you get a reply in the first place and you don't get the acknowledgement, you can't visit in the first place. It's about your father and stepmother, so it's not strange if they reject my request or anything.

"... Cedric"

I called that name dear as I prayed.

"Does Master Cedric look like his wife?

To Mr. Frederick's inquiry, I shook my neck sideways saying no.

"... He says I myself resemble a dead mother. The only thing Cedric and I are the same about is this hair color that my paternal grandmother gave way to. Rather than a father or stepmother, he has a very similar and gentle face when he was younger than my father's uncle, who died before I was born, and his beautiful purple eyes are a concession. My father, mother and sister were barely home when I was socializing, so Cedric used to come and visit me in my room. Cedric, a gentle, serene character, is a very lonely and sweet little brother."

The only time in that house the innocent smile of Cedric, who admired me, was pointed at me, I was feeling the loneliness that was in my heart disappearing.

Cedric first came under me when that kid was only four. Cedric, who was exploring the mansion, came into my room by accident. I was surprised by my father and stepmother and my sister and my first non-servant visitor, but the nurse (babysitter) maid who was chasing Cedric hastily took me, but Cedric, who found out I was her sister, started coming under me a little after that.

Cedric, like the children here, turned a pure favour on me. I was confused by that at the beginning, but that kid, laughing innocently and hugging me to give it to him, was so cute, and me and Cedric quickly became friends.

"If she hadn't been here, I wouldn't have known to smile."

That smart kid never leaked to his parents or another sister that he was coming to my room. You may have said something for fear that the maid would be tired of Cedric, but perhaps she was uncomfortable with a family that showed no interest in herself more than that. Cedric, who comes to my room, was bound to cuddle and lullaby and, sweet to me, was trying to satisfy his lovingly hungry heart.

"That child is an important trace of the Count's family. So… I'm sure, I believe it's okay, but I'm very, very worried."

I put my hands together to pray and closed my eyes.

Cedric's innocent smile comes to mind and his chest is tightened. Just thinking that smile might be lost was going to freeze my mind with fear.

Something unexpectedly warm touched my hand and I found blue eyes peering in worryingly if I opened my eyes.

"I'll see you today."

I nodded powerlessly at Elsa's words and turned my face out the window.

From the open windows you can hear the lively crowd. There's also a mix of laughter there, very peaceful and serene in the back with my chest.

I hear some inadvertently mild child footsteps, and I also hear children calling me, Dear Liliana. Bill and Alice showed their faces at the same time Mr. Frederick opened the door.

"The Marquis is coming!

"Sir, I'm home!

That's what you say. When you come into the room, you come running over to me.

"Dear Liliana, does your leg still hurt?

To Alice and Bill, who sadly lowered their eyebrows, no, I shake my neck to the side and stroke their little heads.

"Elsa cleaned the wound and applied medicine, so it's okay."

When they smiled as gently as they could, wanting the kind-hearted children to feel safe, they smiled as dazzling as the sun when they saw me and Elsa alternating and Elsa nodding, "It's okay," too.

"Good!

"Hey, Master Liliana, will you come see me again? Now come on the day you're not a bazaar! I'll show you around the house!

Alice told me to look up to you. Bill will also "hey, please," hold my hand and snap.

Of course, I'd like to enjoy it right away, but I'm stuck in words about what to answer because I need permission from my husband to go out. If I told you I couldn't come, you two must be depressed. But it breaks my heart to say yes cheaply here and make me expect and betray you.

"Then we'll come back with Liliana before we play fall bazaar"

Looking back, my husband stood behind me. I had no idea when you came into the room. My husband even smiles at the children when he smiles at me in surprise.

"Really?"

"Master Liliana and Marquis, are you coming back to see me?

"Of course. The next time I come, I'll pick out some souvenirs and bring them with me as Liliana"

"Yay! Marquis, absolutely, yes? Don't forget!

"So is Master Liliana!

The two of you who jump and rejoice are full of laughter.

"I'll let everyone know! Come on, Alice! We have to talk!

"Yeah! Because it's absolutely absolute! Don't go home yet because we'll be discussing what souvenir to make!

Quick as I can tell, the two of them jumped out of the room shouting "Everybody -" loudly.

As soon as I do, the inside of the room quietly quiets down like a lie. I roughly look back and look up at my husband.

"Oh, uh, sir...... are you sure?

"Of course. The kids invited me around the corner."

My husband came around and knelt in front of me.

"Or don't you like coming here?

"No way. I'm so glad to see the kids again. Thank you, sir."

My husband wrapped my hands around his big hands that were on his knees just like one day when he smiled you were welcome. Bright blue eyes look straight up at me.

"... I received a reply from the Alwyn family acknowledging my visit"

The sound of a hiccups breath sounded like other personnel.

"I'm going to be able to go to the Alwyn house"

"Can I see Cedric?

It's also important to be able to go, but it's more important than that to see Cedric or not.

"For some reason the Count didn't seem to want us to meet Cedric and the visit was forgiven, but he remains aye when it comes to Cedric. But Cedric is definitely in the mansion."

My husband shook my hand even harder at some point.

"... The Lady is going out to the Tea Party today, but I have an Earl and a sister who have done terrible things to you. Still going? It's probably possible that I'm the only one who can go and force Cedric to come home."

"I'll go. Let me go."

I stared back into my bright blue eyes and said it clearly.

My husband had a little surprise on his face.

"I want to see that girl, as soon as I can, for a minute or a second.... To be honest, I'm afraid to see my father or sister. I don't have many good memories, but I'd rather make sure Cedric's okay than that."

Grip the dress tightly under your husband's hand. Just a reminder makes me want to meditate my eyes on fear because my chest is about to be squashed by anxiety. But if Cedric sees me the same way, it becomes something that doesn't matter, like my fear or anxiety.

"... ok"

My husband, who loosened his expression all the time, held my hands and lifted them.

"I'm on Liliana's side, no matter what anyone tells me. And you're William Lutherford's wife and Marquise of Springfield."

Your husband's lips gently touch your fingertips, from which the heat spreads throughout your body. My husband, who held my hand hard as he tried to escape, stares at me with a soft grin.

"If anything happens, remember my words. That's not true."

"Ambiguous...?

I got a much finer voice than I thought I would. He touched my cheek with his other hand, keeping my hands wrapped in one hand. The large palm is a little stiff, and at the base of the finger there is also a callus made of holding a sword. A slight thumb strokes my cheek slowly.

"Liliana, you are a beautiful, intelligent, wonderful woman full of charity. Don't believe what the family said that was abusing you. I want you to believe me and Elsa and Frederick and Al and Arthur and other people who care about you, just as I believed the words of the children here."

Blue eyes staring at me like I'm begging.

"... and I'm sure you'll have nothing to fear."

I nodded all the way through what seemed to overflow, feeling like my husband's words, voice and body temperature were deeply tender. Then I wondered if my broken husband had taken his hand off my cheek and hand, and he was held in that arm again for a moment.

"Yes, sir."

"Come on, let's ask the kids for a souvenir before we go see Cedric. Freddy, turn the carriage around back. Al's back at work."

"Yes, sir."

Mr. Frederick nods and leaves the bickering room first.

"Oh, uh, sir, I, I can walk... eh"

"No, ma'am. I was bleeding, so please take good care of my husband."

Elsa is really stubborn today. I sifted and shook my neck sideways with a bright red face, but Elsa grinned and ran out of saying "no".

"But I'm heavy, and there's something in my husband's arm that protects the kingdom."

"Liliana doesn't have a problem holding about five people. It's too light, and I'm worried that even the wings will grow and return to the sky"

When I lowered my brow in confusion, my husband smiled sweetly and continued ahead.

"So I have to catch you this way, my Liliana"

I thought the flutter and her husband's cologne smelled stronger, and a kiss was dropped on my forehead. My husband gives me a deeper and more sweet, swinging grin when I turn bright red.

My heart was going to explode, and I couldn't sort out what was already with my head and mind. As a result, I lost consciousness in my husband's arms.

The next time I realized it, I knew I was being rocked by a carriage on my husband's lap headed to the Allwin family.
