The Marquess’s Amnesia

Lesson twenty-two, in the courtyard of the Knights.

"Elsa, will Master William really be pleased"

Ask Elsa as she gets off the carriage.

"Of course you are. My husband will be happy to do his job with his wife."

"That's right, if you put your wife on your lap, I'm sure Dad and her husband will be able to finish the job!

Please brave me too, Ariana, with the basket in your hand.

This is the headquarters of the Knights near the Royal Castle, or the workplace of Master William. There are several stony, rigorous buildings standing on large grounds, and from afar you can hear the sound of a sword and sword bumping into each other.

From the day after Marietta and Ralph came, as soon as William went to the Knights, he couldn't come home. I don't know much about the Knight's work because I can't even tell my family about it in detail, but when I found out that there was a little incident in the King's Capital and nobility was involved, Master William couldn't go home. This neighborhood was in the paper, so Mr. Arthur told me.

For about a week now, Mr. William was being chased to work in the Knights, and this morning, Mr. Frederick, temporarily home, was so frustrated that he had to bow his head to me and ask me to "please come and get your husband in a good mood".

"Ya, I figured you'd feel more unpleasant if I went"

"It can't be in case."

Elsa smiled and said it clearly, and yeah and Ariana are nodding too.

"Eat your wife's made sandwiches and cookies and your husband will definitely feel better. Let's go."

There's nothing more to snort at than a smile that won't make you say whether or not Elsa is there.

Even though I said I made the sandwich, I had Chef Feuille prepare the ingredients and I just buttered the bread and pinched it. But the cookies were well made for the orphanage kids, so I tried everything from scratch. This is my husband's favorite nut and chocolate cookie.

Hearing the sound of the carriage lying on the entrance leaving somewhere, the knight dives into the building through the door he opened. To the left and right of the wide entrance hall was a long hallway with red carpets on the stone floor. There was a spiral staircase to the left and right of the hall and it was blown out to the second floor.

The knight looked palpable and I felt no heart or gaze and hid behind Elsa.

"Frederick should be picking me up..."

Elsa just looked around. Me and Mr. Ariana will look around too, but Mr. Frederick was nowhere to be found.

"I have no choice. Let's go to your room first. I have asked for the room number. Ma'am, please wait there first."

Yes, I'm not sure, but I nod and follow Elsa out walking. Mr. Ariana looked around in such a fashion as intrigue.

Ariana is the maid of a newcomer who just entered this spring at fifteen, one younger than me. Mr. Arthur introduced me to my spokesperson because I was close to my age, and now he's doing something around me as Elsa's assistant as a future samurai candidate.

Elsa does not go upstairs, but walks to the left hallway. There are lots of rooms lined up and numbers inscribed on the doors. Starting with "001," there was a wooden plaque hung underneath it, and it said "in use" and "vacancy" respectively.

"The Knights are confidential, so it's customary to rent a colloquial room like this because it's troublesome to clean up and hide all kinds of documents when you put them through the office. My husband is the division manager, so there is nothing I can't go to because there is a separate reception space... I wondered how many minutes it is on the fifth floor, so I don't have the strength of my wife."

"... he's going to fall before he gets there"

I admitted honestly.

The Marquis is three stories long, but the living space is upstairs, so it rarely goes up. I ran out of breath when I went up from the first to the third floor before, so maybe the fifth floor won't trace it.

"Oh, ma'am, your garden is beautiful."

If you look back at Ariana's voice walking behind you, your garden is spread out on your left hand side, and the leaking day that plugs you into the hallway seems to be planted with more trees than flowers is swaying all over the red carpet.

Somewhere in the hallway, there seems to be a door that allows you to go straight out into your garden.

"It's true, the greens are so beautiful"

Though plugged in late summer, the summer sun is still dazzling and the greens glow in such sunshine with the blue.

"Why don't you and your husband take a little stroll later? It'll be a distraction for your husband."

"I hope so..."

I haven't seen you in a week, so I'm kind of anxious.

Even though I hadn't seen you in over six months a while ago, I seemed to have become a luxury at some point.

Elsa shook her lips when she said something, but she swallowed a word that went all the way out to her throat.

"012, right here..."

Elsa stopped in front of a billed door called Reserved. I switched them while I was using the bills and Elsa walked in first before guiding me and Ariana.

The conversation room was kept so that there was a cozy, two-seater couch facing each other. However, the conditioning items that are placed subtly have a completely different atmosphere because there are items and the room itself has wallpaper and carpet laying. There was a big window across the street from the door that seemed to allow me to get out to the courtyard.

"Elsa, may I see your garden for a moment?"

"Yeah, go ahead. Don't go out there yet."

Elsa allowed me to laugh when I dull, so I approached the window and opened the lace curtain just a little and looked out. Unlike the vestibule, the courtyard had many trees, but flower beds were provided and summer flowers blossomed brightly. In the middle, you can hear the shabu-shabu and the water if there is a fountain.

In front of the room is a narrow brick hallway and a little measure, beyond which is the courtyard. There were about three large trees planted, one at the left end of which was right in front of me. Wooden benches are placed under the trees to allow them to rest.

"It's a big tree."

Ariana, who came next door, told me to look up at the tree. I nod and give it back.

"... oh?

There came a fluttering one gentleman. The dull, blonde-haired gentleman was headed to the bench in what was, but very dangerous footsteps, but with three more steps, he suddenly fell to the ground on his knees.

I opened the door in a hurry and went out to the garden. Mr. Ariana will arrive in a hurry.

The person who is trying to get up somehow looked a little older than Mr. Arthur and wasn't wearing knightly clothes, but he's wearing superior clothes, so maybe he's from the upper class.

But my face was bright blue and my hands were shaking. I tried to crawl and lean against the bench somehow and sat down, but it's still going to fall.

"What if, are you okay? Ariana, Elsa."

"I'm here, ma'am. Please wait here because I'm going to call someone, for now, water please."

The boulder is Elsa. He immediately went to call for backup. Ariana poured water out of the water into the glass and offered it to the gentleman, but his hands seemed to tremble and he couldn't receive it.

"Excuse me, sir."

That's what I called you, and I carried a glass to your mouth. The person with the thin, open eyes whispered in a plundering voice that he was sorry and drank a little water.

"Hinkitsu, that's it..."

"Now that my samurai has gone to get people, please don't force me to talk...... Oh, Ariana, would you get this wet?

I took the handkerchief out of my pocket and gave it to Mr. Ariana. Mr. Ariana slowly watered it down and wet it. Gently squeeze the wet handkerchief into place.

"May I see a wet handkerchief?

The gentleman nodded at me, so I gently put a handkerchief in his eyes. You felt good, fu. My breath exhaled slowly.

Mr. Ariana is looking up to the gentleman with the fan I gave her.

"We've been through a lot of work here... a little bit of overwork."

The gentleman who received the handkerchief from my hand said bitterly with his eyes covered. Your voice is stronger than it was earlier.

"Your doctor told me that overwork is not a disease, but it is a source of all illnesses. Don't push yourself too hard, your family and those who support you will be saddened."

The gentleman lifted his handkerchief and gave him a peek into one eye. Beautiful scissor-colored eyes are harsh, but I kind of even looked weak now. Maybe it's because his complexion is the same as that of every other William.

When my eyes met mine, my scissor-colored eyes opened as a surprise.

"... Tasha?

If you're confused about who you are and me, your lonely, narrowed, scissor-colored eyes will be closed and hidden beneath your handkerchief.

"No, I'm sorry... I think I was wrong"

"No, I'm fine. Don't worry about it."

"Sir!

A man thought to be the butler with Elsa when he heard a man's voice and raised his face, and another, a young man of the knight, came running over here. The knight man had a simple stretcher made of cloth and a stick, and when he came here, he put it next to the gentleman, and the butler and I put him on the stretcher.

"Madam, thank you for staying by my side."

"No, I have nothing..."

I shook my head sideways in a hurry. I was just really beside him.

"He gave me a drink of water and he hit me with a handkerchief... Speaking of which, you didn't even hear his name"

"I didn't do enough to name it. You'd better see a doctor soon than that. Something with a bad complexion..."

The gentleman who unloaded the handkerchief was like his husband when he really fell, and he was telling me that he was exhausted. I asked Ariana to bring me a basket, and I took out one of the cookie wraps. I gave it to him lying on a stretcher.

"My doctor told me that sweets are good when you're tired. Here you go. It's from a stranger, so if you don't like it, throw it away."

The gentleman glanced a little, but after staring at the wrap of cookies on his hands, he laughed small.

"Thanks, I'll take my time later. And I'll take your advice and go to the doctor and rest."

"Yes, no, um, speaking of which, I'd like to offer..."

I feel like I've said something about the gentleman because he was so pale and desperate.

But the gentleman, no, he shook his neck sideways and took my hand, which was horny. My big hand that only wraps my fingertips is getting cold as ice when I say it's summer.

"... thanks"

"Please rest."

To a gentleman with a somewhat lost face. I smile back if my heart can be lifted at all. Something that makes me anxious when I look anxious all the way around when I'm not feeling well.

"Hope it gets better soon, you're praying"

The gentleman also thanked Elsa and Ariana when he loosened his expression slightly, "Thank you for your lady," and when he let go of my hand, the other, the rushing knight, lifted the stretcher and was carried away. The butler bowed his head deeply and went after it.

"Ma'am, give me your hand"

Elsa offered me her hand, so I took that hand and stood up. Mr. Ariana will be ready to hem right away.

"Thank you...... but are you okay? He seemed very sick."

"You were conscious, and you had a good tone, so it's okay."

"I hope so."

"Liliana!!

Master William's voice comes from nowhere, and the three of us look around for a moment, but we don't see you. Was it my fault, tilting my neck, and again, they called me a name, up there, they added.

When I looked up, just now, Master William was riding out the upstairs window across the street.

"I'm going now!

"Dear William!?

Quick as you can tell. Master William jumped right down when he put his foot on the window frame. Master William rushes over here to land as supple as a cat. And while I was flustered by surprise, I was held up a moment and hurried to hold my husband's head so he wouldn't fall. Once he held me tight as if it were a little painful, Master William loosened the force of his arms and raised his face.

"Liliana, it looks like you were talking to a gentleman I know right now, but what happened to him? Did they do something to you?

Master William will ask with a somewhat strangely worried face.

"If I was looking at your garden from the talking room there, that one would suddenly fall..."

"Probably anaemia or hypoglycemia, as you yourself said, but I immediately went to get people, and in the meantime, my wife and Ariana were on their side. We don't even have your name, and we don't even have your name."

Elsa replied surprised.

Oro wondering if he'd done something he shouldn't have done, Master William, no, shook his head back to the side and held me small. As far as I'm concerned, I don't want you to hold me back, I want you to drop me off.

"Were you interested in you?

"I don't know about that... oh, but... for a moment you seemed to make a mistake with someone called 'Tasha' about me"

Blue eyes glare slightly at me and stare at me. I wondered what was the matter, and Master William, leaning his neck, said it was nothing, and hugged me again.

"Wi, Master William, please stop because I'm embarrassed......"

"I don't like it! I haven't seen Liliana in a week!

Master William will say it out loud.

The knights who heard the noise are gathering, so I'd like you to stop because I'm embarrassed, but Master William is not going to let me go.

"Then at least relax in the talking room. Your wife will just sit here as a spectacle. Are you sure?

To Elsa's sober suggestion: "I don't like that! William, who shouted, walked out to the conversation room with me in his arms.
