The Marquess’s Amnesia

Lesson 31: Betrayal

Opening my eyes caught the ceiling I had been looking at for fifteen years.

The moment I understood that this was not the Marquis or that little house, but my home, the Alwyn family, I gained momentum.

I almost had a confusing head, but I had to calm down first, and as Mr. William had said before, I took a slow, deep breath. Then gradually it became clear how I was placed.

"Wedding...... dress?

Yes, it is. For some reason I was put to bed in a white wedding dress.

The wedding dress doesn't seem to fit the size slightly with a modest puff sleeve A-line and has a bitter chest. Plenty of lace and frills, and tiny gemstone-like splashes and sparkles.

"... good"

I touched my neck and breathed relief. I thought it had been taken, but there was a blue sapphire that was properly given to Master William. I'm so relieved that I'm about to cry just by gripping the sapphire.

I look around the room again with it clutched, but the closet with the door off and the cribbing bed were intact, only the thick curtains were closed. My hands and feet were free, so I got out of bed and ran over to the window, opening the curtains thinly and looking out.

It was time for the sun to soon set outside and the sky to gradually stain the sunset.

In your garden, which darkens the shadows of the trees, you can see some shadows but you don't know if they are enemies or allies.

What I remember is that the Duke showed up in your garden, and from behind it, a man I didn't know, smelled sweet, and I remember where Master William threw the table, but since then, it's obscure.

But perhaps it was Sandra who instructed me to come here because of what Mr. William had told me just before. I don't know why the Duke was with you, but I couldn't think of anything other than Master Sandra.

"Is Master William safe?"

I don't know if you're here, or if I'm the only one brought here, because I don't remember.

But for now, I don't feel safe to be here, so I decided to get out of the room and look back, and at the same time, I made a deafening noise with Kie and the door opened.

"Oh, Liliana. You're up."

My body was so tense in that voice.

Appearing from across the door were Sandra and her hip-holding Duke, dressed in purple and black dresses and smiling flashly.

"How could this, Duke..."

"I owe Sandra a little."

The Duke said pale and looked back at Lady Sandra. Master Sandra comes here alone when she tells the Duke something with a pale smile on her face. Slowly the Duke will follow you behind about three steps.

"You've cleaned me up, the bride deserves it."

We came as close as we could reach each other, and Lady Sandra stopped.

Sandra's smile is illuminated by the sunset she plugs in, but it didn't reach the Duke standing behind her, his expression was unquestionable, he was kind of terribly scared of the accompaniment, and his legs went back on their own. But directly behind me, a slight sound of Kachan and his elbow hitting the glass with a window echoed into the room. I want something to hold the curtain.

"Really... you look just like Katrine"

I always said "that woman," so from Master Sandra's mouth, it was the first time I heard that name.

"I'm really going to hate you for looking too good. But that ends today, too. You will become a beautiful corpse and you will be married to the meeting of the Macnish Chamber of Commerce."

"And a corpse?

"Yes. I'm annoyed that you're alive. That's why I want you dead. It's okay, I'll suffer enough, I'll get around the pain, and then I'll stab you in the clasp."

Sandra-like red lips spin flamboyantly as if singing a number of different words.

Master Sandra took the knife out of the luxurious dress waist, hidden by frills.

"First of all, I have to rattle your face with this."

I thought I had to run, but my legs snapped, and when I let go of the curtains, I was going to fall off my hips. I grab the necklace with my other hand and call Master William over and over again, but my tongue just leaks from my fearless lips.

"Sandra."

The Duke will stop Master Sandra from trying to get close to me.

Master Sandra looks back at the Duke and tilts his little neck.

"Even Miss Liliana is pathetic to just be hurt. Why don't you tell me why you hate her so much? Miss Liliana, you'd like to know, wouldn't you?

Asked by the Duke, I nodded as best I could that it was my chance to buy some time.

Then Lady Sandra turned her face to me with her hair falling on her cheeks with her knife standing.

"... the daughter of a whore is a whore"

Master Sandra spins words with her red lips as she stares at me.

"Thirteen years old, I went into college, and the first person I loved said to me," That's the word. I, for thirteen, had a good development, and you looked grown up thanks to the beauty of my mother's concession. But he was a child who didn't know anything about it. "

I took a breath when I noticed that my lips, which mimicked a smile, seeped through the mockery and distorted it.

"Though it would be troublesome to deprive the noble lady of her purity, she said whores wouldn't mind. I was forced to humiliate myself when I was brought into the college warehouse. It hurt, I was scared. I cried and screamed, but no one could help me. I regret it, it's hard, I'm scared, but at the same time, I thought," If it were, I'd use it. "My mother was a whore, but with the love of the baron, I decided to use both stupid and scumbag men to get up and live in abundance."

What I found out was that Master Sandra was badly hurt by someone.

Master Sandra remained smiling as usual on the back of her back with the words she spins.

"I graduated from college at fifteen, and then I went out to a night club and got along with a lot of gentlemen. I would, and I would get a lot of money, and I would have bought all the dresses and jewels I wanted. But nobody made me a" real wife. "The whore's daughter is a good" mistress "but not a" proper wife ". Isn't that terrible? A man really sucks. All the men only saw me as the concubine daughter of the lower nobility. Many times I've been told to scorn a whore's daughter for being a whore. But... only Lymos was different."

It was my father's name that came out of nowhere.

Master Sandra lovingly narrowed her eyes and put a look on her face that made her miss her memories.

"Lymos Allwin was the kindest, and purely in love with me."

The smile as if it were a flower was so lovely that it was pitiful and unexpectedly looked upon like a girl.

"His house was tough and he didn't give me jewels and dresses like the other guys, but he always gave me flowers. It was not a bouquet of lavish roses or a bouquet of lavish lilies, but a small, poor bouquet that made the season feel. The men asked me in return, but only he asked for nothing. It was the tenth date I kissed on the third date that I held hands on. He took care of me even though he knew I wasn't the first. You told me you loved spending time with me. Lymos was the only one who loved me. But."

The smile disappeared to dissolve softly, and the cold dwelt in its eyes.

"Rymos' parents would never allow me to marry him. You know that, don't you?

"Yes. Sister Margaret told me it was because her personality didn't match."

Sister Margaret said as she came to my room and whipped me. Your sister said your mother interrupted you from the side even though she couldn't get married without matching her personality.

"The truth is, it's not. Because I am a concubine, I was clearly told that I cannot be admitted to the Alwyn family of origin because my blood muscles are unorthodox. And my predecessors quickly set up a conversation with the Viscount Everett family and chose Catherine as Lymos' wife. I don't care about anything anymore, and I fished for a man gradually. As a result, Margaret was created. After Margaret was made, he pulled into the mansion and rejected them all. But I haven't seen Catherine in a long time since she died, Lymos said. I'm the only one who loves you, because I've said it over and over again..."

Master Sandra leaned down and shook her words. There is force in my hand holding the knife, and its thin shoulders are shaking slightly.

"That man was hiding your presence from me...... Huh!! I had a small wedding and was informed for the first time when I arrived at the Mansion that I had one daughter between me and Katrine!!

Master Sandra, with her face up, was no longer smiling as usual. He's staring at me laughing like crazy in the light of a bright red sunset. I tremble when my legs are cramped, and my heart is going to freeze in fear.

"When I first saw you, I still think I didn't kill you often. By then you looked just like Katrine!! You look just like the woman who took away from me just one person who loved me wholeheartedly, just because it was a legitimate blood muscle!! Blood muscle is not how I can do this, people's hands can't do anything, that woman took that guy away from me!! So, so hey, Liliana."

The glossy smile once again dominated beauty.

"Please don't come."

Trying to escape from the slowly approaching Master Sandra. I finally let go of my curtains and try to escape to the wall telling, but my legs are stuck and I don't move well.

"The Marquis will love you and take care of you, won't you? You don't know what it's like to be trampled by just one loved one, the daughter of a whore, do you? You don't know what it's like to be born ugly... do you?

For a moment, Master Sandra's gaze was pointed out the window.

In that gap I grabbed the sapphire and squeezed my strength and rushed out towards the exit. I ran off toward the exit with my legs tucked against the hem of my dress and about to fall, but I was unwittingly held back from going to the Duke, and I was captured in that arm.

"Duke, please keep catching me"

Sandra's delightful voice came from behind me, and I looked up at the Duke so that I could cling to his arms.

"Duke, please let me go."

"... Finally, I can be on your side. I'm sorry to scare you into buying time."

"... Huh?

The cold, glowing scissor colour was no longer there, and the gentle, gentle scissor-colored eyes were directed at me, accompanied by warm hands to shelter me, hidden from the Duke's back.

"Duke, please don't joke, keep that girl down fast"

Master Sandra tilted her neck. Its eyes stare at the Duke without alarm.

"Sandra, time's up. You'd have noticed, too, wouldn't you? That the Knights have come aboard."

For the first time since I've been told, I've noticed coming from outside the room, from across the window, a hustle and bustle.

"You betray me, too? Me, the benefactor?

"Surely you were a benefactor. But I'm not a good person for drowning in personal feelings. I, Duke of Hooksberger. He who draws the blood of the noble Crown of Clariseon, he who protects this country."

"Don't be silly!! You must owe me!!

"Oh, even if it did. But that's when I sheltered you from the Marquis of Springfield, and I think I'm done giving it back. No more, Sandra. No more sins. Your... sin is already known by both the Marquis and His Royal Highness the King. You are foolish to flee the country, and you cannot gain Cedric's fortune. I told His Royal Highness Prince Wang everything, all the information I've gotten from you over the last five years."

"... lie, lie, lie!!

"You may have forgotten, but I am a diplomat. The talk of negotiation is also part of my job to dive into people's nostalgia and get the information I want. I used you because I found out you were connected to a black scorpion."

Hazel's eyes opened as he glanced, and finally narrowed to the shape of a garlic and a three-day moon.

"Hahahahaha!

I can't help but notice Sandra laughing like crazy on the Duke's back. Was it unexpected even for the Duke, who, for a moment, stretches his body and his vigilance retreats to the dew as well.

"Uh... well, then... - I'll kill you with me."

Master Sandra waved up her hand holding the knife. At that moment, a bunch of guys from the shower room and blackcrumbs showed up.

With the Duke sheltering me on my back, I retreat. The Duke took out a large knife for protection from his nose, but at first glance he knew it was unfavourable.

"If you're unavailable, I don't need it anymore. If I'd been on my side until the end, I'd have taken you with me."

I laughed furiously, and Lady Sandra put her arms together and tilted her little neck.

The room is dark and I don't know the exact number, but the men, who count to ten, come to me with swords and knives.

"Only that girl should come to me alive. You can kill that man. - Go."

It was when the signs moved in unison to that one word and the Duke took the knife backwards and set it aside.

The batter turns and the door blows up behind you and the three people involved will be the underside of the door.

"Liliana!!

The voice I heard was the voice I kept calling and wishing for the whole time.

A big back jumped out in front of the Duke and a silver glowing sword blew a few at once in just one swing.

Looking back at the person, I jumped out of the Duke's back and into his arms without hesitation.

"Dear William...... Huh!

"Sorry to keep you waiting. You're all right now, Liliana."

Cuddled to bitterness, Master William whispered in his ear.

"... Yikes!

To that word I nodded with heartfelt relief.

But raise your face and take a breath. Master William was a mess. I'm so worn out that I really don't have the pleasure of expressing anything other than this word. Speaking of which, I feel a strong smell of blood, mixed with the smell of sweat and slight lingering perfume. The clothes are torn everywhere and the cheeks are red and swollen if they were beaten.

"Oh, you're hurt..."

"I'm fine. It looks terrible, but it's not a dying injury. More than that, are you hurt?

"There isn't. The Duke has helped us."

Then I smiled good. Master William's crease comes down to my forehead. Master William will look up at a time like this and before I get angry.

"Duke, are you hurt?

"I don't. Not too late, huh? The rope would have tied him up sweetly, wouldn't it?

"Yeah. The rope was helpful, but as soon as I got out of the basement, they held a welcome party and forced me to attend, so I broke a little bone. But thank you for protecting Liliana."

"I'm keeping my wife's stall with her. Besides, it's a natural duty to protect a gentleman, a weak woman."

And smiled, and the duke received the sword that William had cast. Master William sets up another sword that was lowered to his waist.

Follow behind the back of a few men who were left behind before the two men laid their swords, and Lady Sandra smiled unchanged.
