The Marquis’ Daughter Acts As A Pawn
Fifty-seven stories. A certain prince's determination.
- Kingdom of Samorta
It is a nation with an ancient history of art and culture developed. The border with the Diaghilev Empire, famous for its invading country, is adjacent, but the rugged mountain range to the north became a natural fortress and spared the invasion. The Kingdom of Rolands, adjacent to the border to the west, was rich enough and never extended its territory to the Kingdom of Samorta. Thanks to this, the Kingdom of Samorta has not had a war in the last 300 years or so.
These have a great character in nature and the Kingdom of Rolands. In the Kingdom of Samorta, however, it is assumed that it is thanks to the royal family, which is God, that there will be no war. It would be a long and unscrupulous theory.
But it was a country called Samorta that would be affirmed.
Palace of the Kingdom of Samorta. It was like a land of art and culture, a luxurious building. It was a sumptuous one with gardens, with rare but beautiful flowers from neighboring countries, and a fountain of the First King carved by famous sculptors of the Kingdom of Samorta.
There was one boy in such a garden. When I was old, I said I was pre-adult, but my hair was brilliantly bright white long hair. The boy brings it together unconstitutionally. The boy's clothes are uniforms worn by the lower knights of the royal palace. It had a tiny appearance, but it attracted people.
The boy sat on the edge of the fountain sighing, castling the garden with frigid eyes, looking to the future of this country. And after a while, a youth of Kingsguard knights approaches the boy.
"Your Highness, please refrain from conspicuous behavior, such as sitting on the fountain of the First King."
"Hey, Konrat. How much money do you think we need just to maintain this garden?
Kingsguard Knight - Ignoring Konrat's bitterness, the boy called His Highness inquired. Conrad replies to the boy, though he is frightened.
"I'm a knight. I can't measure a fine budget. But at least I think saving the water from the fountain by deciding on the time and stopping it will make it easier for many people than it is today."
"Right. They say the country won't be rich with all the glory."
"If Your Highness ruled this country, we could solve it once and for all."
"You know you don't want that, Konrat. All I want is Shea's happiness."
"... because I've been turned down many times. I know how your Highness feels. Still, I think you're the king's vessel."
"You're halfway there? I'm not the one who should be king. It's Shea."
Konrat sighed deeply with a terribly sorry face. At the same time, the girl tying the boy up was exasperated even though she knew it was something she had no choice.
"So, what happened to Your Highness's precious princess?
The boy laughs bitterly at the way he says it, including thorns.
"Shea would be tired of crying and sleeping well now. 'Cause it looks like Ardallberto's been abusing me for a long time."
"Prince Ardarberto..."
"Apparently, we invite the princess of the divine eye flowing into the Kingdom of Rolands to this country by calling it a discussion for the signing of an alliance. I'm sorry I'm not the best. The boy protested because he didn't like it. But this time it seemed to be a Count Dammeyer-led plan, which just didn't get Ardalbert's point. So, it's a hit on Shea."
"What the hell is Count Dammeyer thinking?
"Come on? I'm sure it's not too busy."
"I'll look into it here as well. By the way, when it comes to the princess of the divine eye of the Kingdom of Rolands...... was she the grandson of Her Royal Highness Princess Juliette?
"That's right. At the corner, you said you were a lucky princess who was born without a divine eye and married to the Duke's family in the Kingdom of Rolands as the only exception to this country that doesn't lose royalty to other countries, but you never would have thought divine eyes would inherit to your own youngest daughter and grandson. Maybe it means you can't escape the blood cage of the royal family of the Kingdom of Samorta."
Like some other HR, the boy, the royal family of the Kingdom of Samorta, shrugs.
"Now that it's harder to have a divine eye, the princess of the divine eye in the Kingdom of Rolands will want to get it even if it's not."
"I don't think I can do that. The princess, Julianna, seems engaged to Edward, the next king of the Rolands."
"That's... my country can't be any other HR, either. Because God's eye is special to this country."
"Was it a testament to God? Oh, I won't."
The boy glanced. It is conveyed to Konrat that he genuinely dislikes the divine eye from its appearance.
"Your Highness, it's time..."
Konrat takes out his pocket watch and makes the boy rush. An important informal meeting is scheduled to take place after this. Plus, there are circumstances where you can't keep the boy in a prominent spot forever.
"Okay, Konrat."
The boy stood up reluctantly and peered at the fountain at the end. The water shows eyes with different irises of red and purple, respectively.
"Well, if I may, I hope the princess of the heart of the Kingdom of Roland is an easy woman for us to use."
All the boy wishes for is the happiness of the girl he loves -
