The Marquis’ Daughter Acts As A Pawn

111 Stories Jealous Poker Game 2

When I smiled softly at Edward, I pulled the flock of women with my strength.

If the noble lady is the opponent, she hunts him down and cries in words enough to make Edward regret calling out to him, but the opponent is a civilian. There will be no better restraint than exercising strength.

"Hey, what are you doing!

"Yes, yes!

So the winning ladies rolled up, this time trying to grab me, but before that I sat sideways on Edward's lap. Then he turns his arms around his neck and kisses his cheeks.

"Ed is mine, body and mind. There is no curtain for you. Will you go home?

"Become!"

Turning a provocative gaze, they ran their eyes blood.

But that's nothing to be afraid of. It is more direct and understandable than the exploration of the belly in the sprawling royal palace of the Magic.

"... you're unusually aggressive today"

"Nothing. I just reconfirmed the facts. Everything about you is mine, everything about me is yours."

I say that in a twinge tone, but I can help to sweeten the tangled arms.

Then Edward gently touched my cheek.

"That won't happen to Anna.... That's what I'm talking about, so I was wondering if you'd give up on me. I'm having trouble getting favors from you guys... and I was wondering if Anna could give me permission?

"I'll just listen to you. I'll never give you Ed, though."

When I hum my nose, the women go away from the second floor with regret.

When we were alone, I quickly withdrew from Edward's lap.

"What? You could be sweeter."

"Are you kidding me?

Staring at Edward, he had a grin that made him peek at his curiosity.

"Are you jealous?

"That's right. I wonder what the hell you were doing while I was shopping."

When I affirm honestly, Edward draws me to sit right next to him.

And he began to stroke my head.

"Forgive me, for gathering information. I didn't touch those women with a finger."

"What do you think? Didn't you have a rough time?

"Julianna is all I need. Everything about me is yours, everything about you is mine."

"Well, that's fine."

Meditate your eyes and press your head gritty against Edward's chest.

Then Edward exhaled in a deep sigh.

"... I've been thinking about it for a while now, hugging, kissing, sweetening... is Julianna's behavior unconscious?

"No, it's calculation. I'm just acting like I want to. You touched my head, didn't you?

I am also acting to get Edward to fall in love more, just as Edward has fallen in love with me in his reckoning.... Later, it's just a maiden heart that wants to abuse him a little bit.

"I mean, can I just act like I want to?

"As your fiancée, you can behave in moderation."

"Come on, remember when you get married. I'll make you cry."

"Oh, you think I'm just a woman to be made to cry?

Edward glanced at his face as if it didn't seem funny.

I can't help but be cute in his childish way.

Laughing at Couscous, a reluctant voice calls to us.

"Um... what's your order?

When he turned to the young shopkeeper, the face of Edward, Prince of the Kingdom of Rolands, and Julianna, Marquis of Lewis, was hidden by the masks of Ed and Anna, the travellers.

"Soup and bucket sandwich, please, and ale."

"I'm just like her."

"Yes, sir."

The owner heads straight to the kitchen.

After enough, there were dishes and ales lined up on the table.

"So, how was information-gathering?

I asked Edward, drinking soggy soup.

When he drinks up a thin ale of alcohol, he smiles bitterly.

"... Apparently, the lords of this city are the breathtaking ones of the revolutionary government. Thanks to this, tax rates are lower than in other cities."

"Still, life seems painful. Important information is that the revolutionary government's influence extends to the vicinity of Imperial Capital."

"Oh, because the Rolands don't have room to work with the powerless right now. It's a delightful miscalculation that the revolutionary government has more power than expected - oh? Apparently, a wide hearted crowd has come to welcome the stranger."

If Edward looked in the direction he pointed, two bad patterned men were about to come this way.

We were just having a whisper conversation, but they didn't even care. They surrounded us to intimidate us.

"Hey, Traveler. Why don't you hang out with us?

"What, it's not a rough game. Have fun playing poker and get more rapport."

The men said as they flickered the cards.

Me and Edward made a lot of fans in this city with today's gig. They're not stupid enough to turn those people against their enemies, and they're trying to duck us peacefully (...).

"Nice. It's been a long time since I've seen poker. Hey, Anna."

"Right. Have you forgotten how to do it? I'm anxious."

Saying so innocently, we stood up.

The men had a lowly grin that their prey had caught on.

... without knowing it was ourselves who became ducks.
