The Marquis’ Daughter Acts As A Pawn
127: The Witch of Misfortune and Disaster 2
Quickly I will stain my sleeping pills with handkerchiefs, and look out for Edward and Ivan.
The two nodded back just to think they'd gotten it.
"I detract from my watch and attract one person at a time. Then make sure you crush me with princess and prince."
"Okay, Ivan."
"But how do we lure them one by one?
"This is how it works."
Placing his hand on his throat, Ivan took a deep breath.
"Nooo! Somebody... Somebody help me...!
The voice of a tall woman echoes, unlike Ivan.
(... vocal cord modeling. That's a thief. I've never seen anyone use anything but me.)
One of the watchmen walked over here to see if Ivan was caught acting.
Me and Edward hide in the shadows, and Ivan squats in concealment of his face and body with his cape, and begins to cry with mesomeso and lies.
"Hey, are you okay? Hmm? You're..."
I noticed Ivan was a man, but before I could tell him anything extra, Edward beats him from behind. The watchman passed out, turned his eyes and fell.
"... you didn't have my turn."
As I rot, I make him smell sleeping pills, just in case he falls on the lookout. And when I tied it up with the strings Ivan had prepared, I left it in the shadows.
"Hey! What's up...? Is something wrong?
Surprised, the rest of the watch called out to us.
I tremble my throat, remembering the voice of the fallen watch.
"It just took a little while to take down the undelivered! Apparently, the men in charge of the explosion were trying to attack the samurai. I'm sorry, but I don't have any rope. Can you lend it to me?
If you just give me the rope, one of the rest of the watch will come this way for a small run.
Then Ivan said, in the same woman's voice as earlier, "Thank you for helping me in danger," so that the watch would not alarm this one, and he has set up a small play. And I rode it with a defeat, and a voice of watchfulness.
"Hey, it's really good. Protect a poor lady like you."
I said with a bite of laughter.
Then Ivan turned away to be ashamed.
"I can't believe I'm pathetic... no..."
"Don't be so modest. I've never met anyone as beautiful as you. Well... if it's all right with you... could we have dinner together next time?
"Yeah, definitely... please, knight"
ridiculous word play from our point of view. But for the lookout coming this way, it was supposed to be words and deeds, so I'm not even alert.
"Hey, I'm at work. You can talk to a woman later.
Edward punches the watchman in the stomach before he realizes he has no buddy watch and no samurai. I pressed a handkerchief stained with sleeping pills against his nose, moaning forward without being able to raise my voice.
The feared counterattack does not come, and the watchman unconscious with Dalari unloading his arms.
"Well, princess, prince. So far so good... it's just hard to attract the rest of us."
"It's easy, Ivan. If it's three to one, we have a winning chance here. Assault!"
When I pulled out the slender sword that was lowering to my hips, I rushed straight to the last watch in front of the tower.
(Am I the right person to poke at the other person's opinion in this?)
Set up your sword and swing straight down to the last watch.
Because it was a monotonous attack, the first sword was easily accepted.
"Oh, woman!? What do you mean... where are they..."
The last watch raises a voice of confusion as we press each other critically with our swords.
I put all my strength into my arms - but my face smiled gracefully.
"I ate it deliciously. It's your turn next."
"What are you ridiculous-"
From behind, you can hear the sword coming out. Perhaps Edward is catching up with me and about to slash me to watch.
I stepped on the ground and pressed my sword even harder so that the watch would not escape.
"Whoa, I don't want to be stopped from comparing forces."
"Don't be ridiculous......!
The watchman twists his body away from his sword and tries to escape the scene. In doing so, my sword was scuffed, and blood spilled out of his slashed arm.
"Goddamn it... you're gonna get hit!
Give up fighting back, the watchman tries to escape.
But it is, suddenly, stopped by the black shadow that emerges from behind him.
"I'm so glad you got blood on your head. Come on, it's time for bed."
Ivan pressed a sleeping pill handkerchief against his nose as he feathered the watchman.
The watchman only gave a look of remorse for a moment, but soon turns into something tranquil characteristic of sleep. When I stopped bleeding at the slice of the skirt that tore his arm, I carried him with Edward near the ancient tree that grows next to the tower.
"Is this all the Fourth Princess Avrola's watch?
"It's always just the entrance to the tower. Looks like he's caught up in the Yang Dynasty, and there's no soldiers around."
"It's a waste of time. We'll be on our way to the Fourth Princess of Avrola in a minute."
When we entered the tower, we ran up the spiral staircase.
