Creatures like mice are always cunning.

Mole Rats are even more so.

Otherwise, we wouldn’t have almost fallen for its trick earlier.

A quarter of an hour later, the Mole Rat returned to Yang Yan’s side, somewhat frustratedly looking at him.

Yang Yan couldn’t help but frown.

But he refused to believe in failure.

Because if even the Mole Rat, which is most skilled at searching, couldn’t find a way out, then he couldn’t rely on himself anymore.

He released the Mole Rat once more...

Unfortunately, after several attempts, they ended up back at the starting point.

This time, the Mole Rat seemed provoked by the maze, voluntarily offering to explore further.

However, Yang Yan stopped it.

In fact, after walking around several times, Yang Yan made a new discovery.

This Underground Palace has two layers of arrays. Combining the array knowledge taught by Zhao Heng, Yang Yan deduced that the outside setup, where he currently was, is a complex Illusion Array designed to protect the Spiritual Sense being nourished within.

Yang Yan furrowed his brow, feeling it was very peculiar.

This world should have existed with demonic beasts like those in the Yellow Sand Secret Realm, but apart from the few weak demonic beasts seen at the beginning, there were no others.

Moreover, why would there be an array to nurture Divine Soul here?

Could it be...

Yang Yan suddenly thought of a possibility, realizing someone had already been here!

However, he didn’t know if the Secret Treasure had been taken.

With this thought, Yang Yan put away the Mole Rat, completely ignoring the Illusion Realm before him, and walked straight towards the center.

Indeed!

Even when confronted with walls of ice and snow, he resolutely pressed forward.

Although penetrating the first wall did present an obstruction.

However, he had already summoned the Fire Attribute Extreme Soldier, and with a gentle swing, he sliced open a gap in the ice and snow wall ahead.

Just like that, Yang Yan moved forward and finally entered the array that nurtured the Divine Soul smoothly.

Only upon stepping in did he become amazed by the astonishing sight before him.

At the center of the array was a luxurious palace built entirely from Spirit Stones, all of which were top-quality Spirit Stones.

Inside the palace, there was a pile of supreme-grade Spirit Stones, numbering at least a few thousand.

Even someone as knowledgeable as Yang Yan found himself overwhelmed momentarily.

Yang Yan walked into the palace and suddenly noticed a coffin forged from Spirit Marrow, placed in the midst of the supreme-grade Spirit Stones.

That was Spirit Marrow!

The essence of a Spirit Stone Vein.

And this coffin was carved entirely from a single piece of Spirit Marrow.

Seeing this, Yang Yan’s eyes glimmered with greed.

His first instinct was to collect it.

But he quickly suppressed the impulse, composed himself, and continued to observe the surrounding environment.

With this careful scrutiny, he indeed found many treasures.

Spirit-Storage Grass, Soul Reviving Flower, Enlightenment Stone...

A dazzling array of rare treasures filled the palace space, too many to count.

Yang Yan calmed himself slightly, unable to resist stepping towards the treasures.

Suddenly, Yang Yan felt a rush of wind behind him.

The speed was so fast and unexpected that he didn’t even have time to defend before being struck out of the palace, deeply embedded into the cave walls!

Fortunately, Yang Yan’s body had undergone fortification, otherwise, this blow would have broken his muscles and bones.

Even so, Yang Yan was still far from unscathed.

He took a deep breath, recovered slightly, and without hesitation, activated the Nascent Void, ready for battle.

Suddenly being thrown again, Yang Yan was still unable to clearly see his opponent’s figure.

Yang Yan set up a Defense Array around himself, then used Wish Power to activate the Seven-Colored Divine Pupil, searching carefully around.

Whoosh!

A shadow suddenly appeared, diving at Yang Yan without warning, faster than lightning.

Yang Yan quickly released the Seven-Colored Divine Pupil to lock onto it, then struck out fiercely with the Nascent Void in his hand.

The shadow blew out a chilling breath, aiming to Ice Seal Yang Yan.

And the shadow clearly didn’t expect Yang Yan’s reaction to be so quick, nor his attack so swift. Taken by surprise, it also suffered a hit from Yang Yan.

Its movement slowed slightly, Yang Yan unleashed Wish Power, freeing himself from the Ice Seal in just a second.

By then, he saw clearly the opponent he was facing; it was the Snow Spirit Python.

This creature, living in icy lands, moves incredibly fast and can use chilling breath; extremely formidable.

The key was that this Snow Spirit Python’s strength was already at the early stage of Divinity Transformation. Once it moves rapidly, it’s nearly invisible.

Yang Yan had no choice but to abandon the attack, opting for a more passive defense while contemplating a strategy.

Suddenly, Yang Yan dodged a heavy strike from the Snow Spirit Python’s tail, retreating back to the palace.

The Snow Spirit Python, frustrated by repeated failures, and increasingly counterattacked by Yang Yan, was thoroughly enraged.

Seeing Yang Yan suddenly running towards the palace it guarded, it roared angrily, furiously charging at him.

Yang Yan had already anticipated this outcome, handling the barrage of attacks while steadily closing in on the palace center.

Yang Yan swung his hand to collect the pile of supreme-grade Spirit Stones, and in that instant, was struck out again.

Yet this was all part of his plan, and though a hint of blood appeared at the corner of Yang Yan’s mouth, his eyes reflected cunning.

He flicked through the air, suddenly appearing behind the Snow Spirit Python, then rushed out in the opposite direction.

The Snow Spirit Python roared again, attempting to turn back.

However, its massive body and incredible speed made it impossible to halt immediately.

As the distance from its target widened, the Snow Spirit Python rose, its giant body tumbling, slamming forcefully towards Yang Yan’s escaping direction.

Yang Yan moved one step ahead, and in those few fleeting seconds, successfully used the Spirit Stones he risked his life to obtain to set up the Immortal Trapping Array.

Although time was tight, Yang Yan couldn’t fully harness the true power of these Spirit Stones, yet all these treasures were top-tier. Merely arranging them properly to unleash their inherent power was enough.

Yang Yan felt a pang of anguish with each Spirit Stone consumed.

These items were incredibly precious; no matter how abundant, depleting them means less of them remain.

Seeing the Snow Spirit Python approaching, Yang Yan suddenly halted his sprint.

Even if it sensed something wrong, like before, the enormous inertia prevented the Snow Spirit Python’s immense body from stopping immediately.

Boom!

With a muffled sound, the rapidly moving body of the Snow Spirit Python abruptly halted, tightly pressed against a transparent barrier.

Yang Yan stood close enough to touch it, a mocking smile on his face: "Monster, prepare to meet your end!"
