Chapter 1157 - 513: Even Among Colors, There Are Levels (Part 3)
Other person: "Indeed, I’m the argumentative type."
The 666 underlying code forcibly ran with a BUG.
Lin Li: "You are a pig."
Other person: "Indeed, I am a pig."
Lin Li: "You people with the ’indeed’ personality enjoy an easy life, your brain doesn’t need to function all day."
Other person: "Indeed, it’s easy."
Lin Li: "You like me."
Other person: "Let’s skip that one, sorry, I’m not into guys."
Even though the other person finally thought it through, Lin Li smiled apologetically and bowed slightly in a sincere apology:
"Sorry buddy, I was just joking around earlier. Your school is great, sorry, sorry. Thank you for talking with me."
"Ah, it’s okay."
The other person also smiled. Seeing that Lin Li didn’t intend to continue the conversation, he leaned back on the railing, staring dazedly downstairs.
The task still didn’t respond.
Lin Li looked over at the other students from Pingjiang Middle School present, but after considering it, he didn’t make any more moves.
To be honest, if this guy wasn’t the ’indeed’ type, what I just said might have been a bit rude and offensive.
Counting the entrance of the cafeteria, I’ve already tested twice, yet the system hasn’t responded. The system never said coming to Pingjiang Middle School would definitely trigger a task, so Lin Li wasn’t keen on probing further.
Slack off for a moment, feels great to slack off continuously.
The system didn’t set up tasks during these times of reverse psychology,
so Lin Li calmly watched the historical material in the gaming group, passing the remaining time.
When there were only ten minutes left before the test, two invigilators arrived with the exam papers, instructing everyone to hand in any extra materials and their phones.
Lin Li didn’t have a bag, so he turned off his phone and placed it on the podium, then sat in his seat, idly spinning a pen waiting for the exam to officially start.
"Bro, bro."
The noise beside him caught Lin Li’s attention. Lin Li turned his head to see the student sitting next to him.
"What’s up?"
"Bro, your Morning Light Doppler pen is really sleek, brand new, right? Hey buddy, I’m just here to wing it, could you lend me a pen? With that, I’ve got a chance at the grand prize." The other guy scratched his head a little embarrassed.
Looks like he didn’t bring a pen.
Lin Li chuckled at his words: "One pen from me could save your life, dude."
"Bro, it’s better not to use cheap ten cent pens." The other guy advised earnestly.
"Alright, alright," Lin Li handed the pen in his hand to the other person, "here you go."
"Thanks a lot!"
The exam officially began.
Wasn’t too difficult, was it?
Slowly writing, after about an hour the whole exam paper was done, and after spending some time checking, there was nothing left to do.
Probably didn’t get a perfect score but should be pretty close. Seeing everyone else around scratching their heads, the grand prize should be secure for me to complete the task.
Can’t submit early, so with the remaining time, Lin Li glanced around. But it’s a math competition, surrounded by unfamiliar students, and two invigilators, naturally, he saw no one cheating. Instead, Lin Li got a little noticed by the teachers for looking around too much.
Finally, the end of the competition bell rang.
The invigilators indicated to stop writing and began collecting the papers in order.
Like middle and high school entrance exams, the Smart Cup competition’s second round doesn’t allow the test paper nor the scratch paper to be taken out of the exam room, so after collecting the answer sheets, they also had to collect both the test papers and scratch papers.
But now was the time people could talk and interact.
"Bro, here’s your pen back, thanks." The guy from next door returned the pen while expressing his gratitude.
"Is the grand prize pretty secure?" Lin Li asked with a smile as he accepted it.
The other guy blinked:
"I had a little lag just now."
"Missed this year, but I’ll come geared with full stationery next year, definitely snagging the grand prize."
Lin Li: "O.o?"
