The Old Knight of a Frontier District

Lesson 9: The Cave of Trials (Part 2)

5

Bardo opened his eyes to surprise.

Is this a place like that?

Is it God who lays down there?

Suppose that's what it looks like.

No, if it's something that has just a fraction of the power of appearance.

Gordon doesn't get along at all.

Even if the six of us here take a bunch, it won't go far.

With such concern of Bardo, Gordon went flat up the steps.

As soon as I got up and stepped into the arena.

A pillar of light rose from Gordon's feet.

When the light subsides.

There was Gordon Zarkos, who became a giant.

Gordon is now as tall as Paul-Beau, the thunderous god he faces.

Gordon accepted this anomaly lightly.

"Whoa, ha, ha, ha.

Pleasant, delightful!

Laughing out loud, I run over to my enemies.

Dorothy, Dorothy.

Every step of Gordon's giant body steps into the arena, as if to strike a hammer into the earth.

Gordon, who became a cloud-piercing giant, captured Thunder God at range in just eight steps.

Shake up the battlehammer, which has become massive with both hands, and swing it down to the left shoulder of the Thunder God.

Gordon's blow is so powerful that it cannot even be taken by Baldo in his full-blown years.

And that blow, which made him a giant, shall not be taken, even though he is a god.

The Thunder God relaxed with such Baldo's anticipation.

When he waved his left hand up unconstitutionally, he tried to take Gordon's attack with a hammer in his hand.

A whimpering noise sounded and several thunderstorms were disturbed.

The Thunder God, horribly enough, supported Gordon's attack with one hand.

At the same time, Thunder God struck the right hand hammer on Gordon's left flank.

Electric light began to fly and a sharp crushing noise sounded.

What a huge snag in Gordon's armor, isn't it hurting?

It smells like burning.

Gordon was not upset at all that my armor and body were given painful hands.

Flat out, he swung up the battlehammer again with both hands, swinging it down to the Thunder God with more momentum than the first blow.

But this heavy blow was also taken by the hammer on the left hand side of the Thunder God.

And it happened that the hammer on Thunder God's right hand hit Gordon's left side.

A crack runs on Gordon's armor.

There should have been considerable damage to the body inside as well.

But it doesn't matter, three times Gordon shook up a giant battlehammer.

The Thunder God had a quiet look until then, but here it turned and anger floated on its face.

As I echoed that anger, the battlehammer held by the Thunder God in his right hand emitted a golden light.

Paul-Beau, the thunderous god, says he will be the uncle of the Sun god Korama.

He usually refrains from behind the Sun God and quietly watches the Son and Daughter Gods of the Sun God work.

But once angry, the blow cracks the mountain to pieces.

Paul-Beau is indeed the strongest of the gods.

That raging blow of thundergod captured Gordon Zarkos' left flank three times.

The rift of armor spread wide, and the hammer of thunder god devoured into Gordon's life.

But both of Gordon Zarkos' stepped legs were unwavering.

The heavily shaken Gordon battlehammer was struck by the Thunder God with momentum that snubbed the first and second blows.

The Thunder God took it with a left-hand hammer, but it could not be stopped and pushed off.

The mortar of Gordon's body struck the head of the Thunder God as it was.

It is as if time has stopped.

Eventually, Thunder God swayed and fell behind.

Somewhere the bell rang three times.

When I wondered if the arena had sparkled, both the figure of Thunder God and that of Gordon Zarkos disappeared.

No, it wasn't.

Gordon Zarkos is back to his original size and poking his knee in the arena.

Zaria ran up the steps to the arena and ran over to Gordon Zarkos.

I didn't even have time to stop it.

But the fact that we made it up safely, I guess we can go up now.

The Baldos also followed Zaria.

Gordon was bleeding out of his mouth.

She also bleeds from her flank.

"Let me take my armor off!

Zaria said.

Bardo and Cars had Gordon's upper body of armor removed.

"That's fine.

Get out of the way. "

Gordon lying in chains and pieces.

Zaria placed her right hand in the middle of its chest and her left hand in the injured left flank.

And I snapped a spell in my mouth.

After a while there was a red light in both Zaria's hands.

Still, the spell continues.

Gordon's bloodletting stops and his painful expression soothes.

Still, the spell continues.

I can see the wound on the left flank being repaired from the back.

Eventually the wound was healed.

However, the fissures on the surface and the marks of anyone burned cannot be cured and remain intact.

"It's okay now.

But give me a break. "

With that said, Zaria lay down on the spot.

Gordon Zarkos rose to peel instead.

It is a laid-back face as usual.

"Slightly.

The armor has broken.

I have no choice.

Do you think you can wear it only where it's not broken? "

That's what I said, I put armor on my shoulders, chest and arms.

Zaria got up after a while.

"Please wait.

You opened the door to the next one. "

Seeing Zaria point that way, there's a hole in the back of the arena that shouldn't have been there before.

What does this mean?

Perhaps it opened because Gordon won over the Thunder God.

I see.

We have to win before we can move on.

The line lined up again and went into that hole.

8

This cave was emitting green light.

Take the twisty, curvy path one line forward.

Yemite, who leads the way, has a small body but fast feet.

It also speeds up a row of marches at best.

"Something's coming.

So many enemies. "

Yemith stopped and said so, so they both took a fighting stance and waited.

Something comes from the front.

Let's go. They're getting closer.

Coming.

Coming.

Eventually the enemy appeared in a crooked cave.

It was as much of a creature as the palm of his hand.

There are like countless short tentacles coming out of the sides of the body, twirling it and seemingly twirling the body forward.

Some of it will be due to the green light, but the color of its body is poisonous.

Yes, it's not as fast as stopping by.

Cars slaughtered the nearest enemy.

Then the enemy turned into two short pieces and stopped moving with a little convulsion.

Yemith also stabbed and killed his enemies with a bone sword.

When I reassured him that he was an enemy without much, it happened.

The enemies, like their sleazy crushed meat dumplings, stopped advancing and shivered as they sifted.

Then he slipped into the ground and disappeared.

Where is it?

Where did they disappear?

The tension is not slightly faint.

Killing, you can call it.

They're lurking somewhere.

The answer came right away.

Suddenly Engdall looked back, not over Zaria's head in the belly of a wide range of song knives.

There was a proper sound, and the meat dough that tried to fall over Zaria's head crumbled and flew off.

Bardo accidentally looked at the cave ceiling.

Isn't there a smudge of meat dumplings stuck in the ground and disappeared?

The flesh group children that had been smudging came down on a row of overhead with a bump, a bump.

Has it moved through the rocks?

Or did you make it look like you stuck it in the ground, disappeared and moved?

No.

If you've traveled through the air trying to be invisible, there's no way Emite and Cars are going to lose sight of you.

Because these two people are not just capable of detecting signs.

Then it must be seen that the meat dumplings have the ability to move abruptly away.

Bardo took Zaria's hand and retracted it.

Meat dumplings have not come down in this position.

There were already dozens of meat dumplings on Engdall's body.

Besides, the meat dough comes out of the sticky spot with some incomprehensible liquid.

The liquid dissolves Engdall's stubborn body.

But Engdall hasn't panicked, and pulls the meat dough from his body and hits the wall.

The meat dough that hits the wall dies crushed as it is.

But thanks, the body fluids that die and splash also seem to contain lysate.

Engdal's body melted all over the place, bathed in splashy fluid.

Cars and Yemite saw it and began to spill the splashing fluids.

These two dodging abilities are not the norm because such things can be turned around.

Meat dough is also sticking to Gordon Zarkos' body.

The meat dough stuck to the helmet and armor has been pulled, dropped to the floor, and trampled.

But the problem is the torso part.

Chain pieces are exposed here, but the meat dough lysate seems to be creeping in from that gap, making a noise all the time and baking Gordon's meat.

Speaking of Cars and Yemite, he sent all the falling meat dumplings.

And cut the meat dumplings in the air.

The meat dumplings that have fallen to the ground scatter dangerous body fluids, but the two are squeezing properly.

A slight bump, though, seems to be giving some painful hands.

When they truncated the falling meat dough, they truncated the fallen meat dough away from themselves and slaughtered it.

But the meat dumplings are not left to be cut either.

When it disappears on the ground, it reappears on the ceiling and falls.

But more than I could see in my hand, meat dumplings were no longer the enemy of this battle group.

After finishing the falling meat dough, Cars and Yemite turned to cover Gordon and Engdall.

It didn't take long enough to kill all the meat dumplings.

Fortunately, the meat dumplings had a limited range of attacks.

This means that it disappeared on the ground and appeared on the ceiling, its range of movement was limited.

If Baldo or Zaria were to emerge to the lowered position, it would have been a terrible hassle.

When the battle was over, Engdall was being melted all over his body and in terrible condition.

Still, it was probably done to this extent because of Gerkast's tough outer skin, so if humans who couldn't even wear armor had the same eyes, there would have been no life at all.

Zaria treated Engdall when he put him to sleep on the cave floor.

Engdall's wounds healed.

No sign of it.

There are traces of melting and sloppiness on the surface.

Inside, however, the poison disappears and the pain seems to be quite thin.

Zaria also treated Gordon after that.

It still left a lot of marks of melting and tattering, but the interior seems to have been repaired considerably.

"Whoa!

Brilliant.

Thank you, Grandma Zaria. "

"It's not Bubba now.

Call me sister. "

We have a total exchange, but Zaria still seems to have fatigue and rested for a while before resuming the march on the line.

Bardo asked Zaria.

Really brilliant power.

I wonder if all those who have become spirit-possessed will acquire such healing powers.

"No, that doesn't sound like it.

Sounds like it's up to people to help.

I think I got this kind of power because I was a good pharmacist and a bad teacher. "
