The Other Side of the Last Boss

32. Contract training ①

I attend an adventurer training course at Canterbridge School.

My purpose is not, but the purpose of others is to become stronger.

Adventurer.

Those who undertake work in the Adventurer's Guild.

Demons can be exorcised, materials collected, escorts, and dungeon exploration.

I also take part in the war, and I take on a little request.

Anything is like a shop.

Human adventurers have a class.

By class, no good weapon, no good magic.

Therefore, when working out, it splits apart like an elective.

Train all kinds of weapons. Train your magic. It is also possible to do other research.

So there's not much opportunity for everyone to get together and work out or fight together.

Today is that rare day.

The day when everyone meets together to show off their training achievements or play mock wars.

Contractual training.

There seems to be other adventurer classes as well as A-classes.

The gathering place is made like an old arena and has a guest stand.

"What does Ashtar do?

Euphiria is approaching us.

"I don't have any plans. Can I just watch you?

"Mmm. Well, sometimes people like that. But in your case, it's the first time you've incorporated it. They want to know what they're capable of."

"Even during the last war, where did you do something? I didn't see you at all."

Walk with Dosdos as Jemmy takes on the axe.

"I've been very active in a lot of places."

When I deal with clutter, Tiriza narrows her eyes.

"Ah. Is that so? I thought of it as a battle force, but I couldn't find it, so I had a hard time finding it."

"I'm sorry about that."

When we talk about it, Vinzent comes in graceful footsteps.

"Ashtar, do you have a minute?"

"What is it?"

"I thought we might have a mock fight."

"Like you?

"No way. With my kids."

Vinzent raises his hands and takes a lot of reactions.

"I see. It doesn't matter."

"Then sign this for me"

Sign the paper Vinzent put out.

"Hey, hey. Don't look at the terms. Don't sign. Even if it's a mock fight, there's a lot going on!

Euphiria interrupts and takes the paper.

"Hi. Euphoria. You look beautiful today."

"I don't need that kind of flattery. We're adventurers."

Euphiria has no taste for it. Looking at the paper, Euphiria trembles with a smugness.

"One-on-twenty? What the hell is this?"

"He's part of a brave party. I thought it would be just the right time."

Vinzent shrugs his shoulder.

"There are so many A-class people out there, and you can't be just fine!

"It's not like we're going to kill each other. If you're in danger, the referee will stop you."

"You don't know what happens when the weapon is OK."

I'm getting hot. Grab Euphoria's shoulder and stop it.

"Euphoria, it's okay. I'm a bareback, and I'll give you a good hand."

In my words, Euphoria will do the right thing.

"No, that's the side you're worried about. Twenty people are going to kill you."

Explain that the tirizer is frightened.

"Yeah, that way."

I make a bitter smile.

I've never been worried about myself.

I am therefore still unfamiliar with these cases.

"Then don't worry. It's okay."

"Huhuhuhuhu……. Pretty good balls. I'll see you later."

Vinzent left with a suspicious smile.

Euphiria explains the simulation.

They have a lot of conditions, but this time there are rules for weapons, magic and everything.

Of course it is forbidden to kill, but I don't know what happens when it gets hot.

The teacher is at the referee, and if he thinks it's dangerous, he's supposed to go in and stop it.

But there is no guarantee that it will make it.

"Are you sure you're okay?

Euphiria asks me again and again.

"I know this axe is a waste of time. You're not gonna die."

Says Jamie as he touches the axe.

"That axe wasn't tougher, was it? I had a hard time fixing it."

"No, that was too hard on the wall."

The axe broke the other day. The repaired tiriza told me a novel and Jemmy wandered off.

As I looked at it, I remembered last night.

Night before joint training.

A room in the Temple of Darkness.

Grandpa called me into my room.

"What is this ring?

I take seriously the new ring my grandfather gave me.

"It has the same effect of suppressing evil, but this time, when it releases evil, it has the effect of disguising it as popular."

If you really want to fight, people are popular (jinki), demons are demonic, dragons are dragons.

That temper helps me understand how awesome they are and how they are.

The Evil Gods are naturally evil.

This evil is an unknown sign for mankind.

When you exasperate evil, you naturally terrorize the other person more than you need.

And who are you, it's going to raise the question.

So I usually keep my evil to 0 by the support of the ring.

Because I feel 0, I am judged to be "Well, this guy is a human being" just because of his appearance.

What's more, he seems weak.

But I can't help it because I can't be evil.

"A short time that people have never felt before. I think he was dealing with a lot of things like just being evil for a moment. But it would just be inconvenient to live in the human world. So we secretly developed this."

I'll tell you what, Grandpa.

"For a few seconds, if you want to release the weakness, you should also have a ring."

"You mean weakened?

"I don't know what Ashtar's full power looks like. Well, maybe three to five percent."

"I wonder if we can adjust that weakness well."

Too weak forces are hard to adjust.

"Then even 1%. The important thing is to be popular and make everyone think you're a person."

"Is that true, too? Let me use it tomorrow as soon as possible."

"Yes. I was horrified in time for the joint training"

I left the room wearing the ring.

I'm staring at the ring.

This is a good opportunity to show my popularity to a large number of people.

"Ashtar, are you there?

I am called by a teacher in charge of joint training.

Apparently, it's my turn.

When I go in the middle of the arena, the noise starts bothering me around.

"What is that? Are you going to deal with 20 people alone?

"Are you a jerk?

Such a voice flew from around.

"Ashtar. Are you sure this is okay?

"Yeah, no problem"

"What about weapons? What about protective equipment?"

"Not required"

"Is that so…… If you're so confident, here we go."

The teacher checks with me and signals the battle.

"Here we go!"
