A small town in one country of a small country, countless in the plains.

One boy was cooking as he sang his nose in the corner of the market, which would be held at noon on a full moon day in that town.

"Stew ♪ Stew ♪ Delicious stew ♪"

The boy's back is approximately slightly above the adult's waist. He does not wear shoes and exposes himself to bare feet with fluffy curly hair growing behind him.

Such a boy peeks into a pot that is hung by fire and makes gutsy noises.

At first glance, he looks like a child, but he doesn't say anything about taking it for granted around him either.

Simmer the small chopped vegetables and meat in a large pan so that the streets of the fire are uniform and boiled quickly.

"All right! Ash removal complete! And simmering... ok!

Dump the ash juice on the ground for a taste, make sure the meat and vegetables have softened all the way through, and the boy calls out.

"Packet! Do you have the sauce?

"Of course! Yes, Pickett!

I hold a pot big enough to hold it with both hands in that word, and then I come close, about the same age, still a barefoot girl... packet.

She gives the boy… a small pot full of white sauce on the picket.

"Okay! Put this in later and stir with the milk..."

Close the lid by adding the sauce and the freshly squeezed milk you bought. Keep simmering until the sauce is tame...

"I can do a knight's stew!... Mm-hmm, nice smell!

Take the lid.

The smell of a fluttering, warm stew around stops people going to the market.

"Yes! One packet, please!... Yeah! Delicious as always!

"Thanks Pickett!... Mm-hmm! Yum!"

The two of us taste just one cup in a wooden bowl and take a small leap in the way it tastes so good.

The footprint is light.

The two races... it was a 'halfling' -like move.

Halflings are a race with legs as long as a human child's back and soft curly hair grown on the back of his feet.

Its nature is curious and restless, and it does not have a culture of staying and settling in one place in favor of a lively place.

When I grow up, I break up with my family and travel all over the place, and then I get to know them and marry the halfling heterosexuals who had horses.

He then makes a child while traveling, wandering around with his newborn baby, and eventually a couple travel until death after dropping off their grown-up child to nest.

Although such a race, half rings mostly inherit the skills of obtaining food for life on the journey on a family-by-family basis from parent to child.

The techniques inherited vary from family to family: they are bard songs, they are funny strange street art moves, they are bandit moves that lend things to unauthorized worshippers from people on the road, they are hunter hunting moves, they are traveler moves that identify what they can sell.

And Pickett and Packett. The skill these two young halfling couples possessed was that of 'cooking'.

Typically, halfling cooks don't have what they call their own shops, but they cook their purchased ingredients and sell them to guests on the road, such as at the market in the town where they stopped.

Regardless of the extent of herbs you can take in the woods and on the side of the road, you don't have enough gold to use silly high seasonings such as spices, sugar, and few rare ingredients, so only your cooking knowledge and arms can be relied upon.

It is such a technology.

And Packet has one secret recipe my parents taught me to support my journey.

A sauce made from cow's milk and wheat, invented about 20 years ago in The Kingdom, far from this small country, and given the title of 'Knight' by the current king, Prince Wang, to innovative delicacies.

It was popular enough to come out as a treat on a festival day, even in the countryside, where it is now a prudent life, in the kingdom where it originated, but only to the extent that it is still edible in the capital where the king is.

Therefore, the stew made by Pickett and Packett was very popular every time.

"Come on. Come on. Meet me! Far away - the specialty of the kingdom, stew with the sauce of the knight! Quick winner!

"One bowl and two copper coins! Yummy! If I sell out, I'm done for the day!

Before the stew you can do, two of you raise your voice.

Drinking spit that seems to zero into the fragrant and sweet smell of the knight's sauce.

The shoppers of the market gather with their loud voices and aromatic smells.

"Hey. Why this white stew?

Out of that hedge, one middle-aged man speaks for Pickett on his behalf.

"Hey, husband! This guy is a stew with a sauce of knights born in a distant country! Why don't you take a look at the flavor?

"Brother, you're a good man, and you're my first customer, so I'll serve you and make a big deal of it! Right?

Laughing loudly, Pickett and Packett advise the man to flow.

"Well, if that's the case... give me a drink"

As the momentum holds, the man hands over two pieces of copper coins to the packet.

"I'm going! Go ahead!"

"Be careful, it's hot!

Give the man a bowl of crude wood with plenty of stew and a spoon.

"Whoa... whoa!?

Receiving it, the man with his mouth changes his complexion and sips the stew, raising his voice of surprise.

It was a delicious stew I had never had before.

The pork meat on the fat carved into a large bite of dice is soft and dull.

Danshak, full of stew flavor, is dusty and crumbles in his mouth.

Stewed after being thoroughly sautéed in butter, the oranier melts and sweetens, while the sweet orange curute is well through the fire and soft.

And a faintly sweet, sturdy flavour of soup made with milk and butter.

This stew tastes incomparable to a man's usually made, salt-only stew.

Eating under this cold sky was a great treat, even if it was a different favor to say hot stew.

"This guy. Ugh! Give me another drink!

Unexpectedly the man pokes an empty bowl and a copper coin out in front of the picket and says:

"Maido! Eat more and more!

"I don't have this stew - it's delicious to eat with bread! Put bread like this in the bowl and stain it with plenty of stew to eat!

That way, the bread softens, and when you bite, you spread plenty of stained stew in your mouth!

Packet says frankly as he leaves the stew in the bowl. Taking a glimpse of the black bread, which is quite an out-of-store sale.

I can hear a number of gossiping and spitting noises from the gathered hedges.

And the people in the hedge who turned into customers ordered stew after stew.

The customer who gets the stew buys a small piece of black bread cut into one meal and eats it with the stew on, depending on the open shop next door.

A sigh rises from all over the place, and some customers offer a wooden bowl again for an alternative.

"Come on, come on, quick win! That's all I made today!

"When it's gone, it's over! Eat more and more!

It took Stew to sell out before noon, and Pickett and Packett had enough road silver to get to the next town.

Noon.

"It's just Doyo Day."

"Yay!"

Pickett and Packett left their luggage in the inn and were running lightly through the woods outside of town singing out of tune songs.

From time to time I hear the beast screaming, but the two of them don't care.

Wild beasts are basically cowardly, so if you're making a scene like this, they won't attack you, and in case you get attacked, there's no such thing as a beast that can catch up with a halfling that really escaped.

"What shall we eat today?

"Uh-huh... at first I didn't have any extra stew today, so I guess it's a dish with a knight's sauce!

"Right! Let's do that! I have money, too!

The two happily talk about what they're going to eat today.

It's a good day.

Much appreciated selling black bread next door, which quickly sold out just like the two of us, and an unexpected income earlier...

The first guest to eat two dishes, the father of a town inn, pleaded with me to teach him how to make a knight's sauce with 115 silver coins and seven copper coins, and plenty of money.

It was an excellent Dining Room Day.

Pickett's hand holds a shitty parchment.

It says potpouts and some cat markings mixed in with countless writings.

Yes, that's the secret known among halflings… the mark that stands for 'The Nekoya Door'.

The map of Halfling is a bit special.

Somehow all the species are dominated by curiosity and whim, so they travel all over the place, so everyone is familiar with the land for themselves.

So once in a while when halflings go and meet each other, they take out the map and tell each other what they know.

I will spare no effort and I will not hide.

It's a race that lives from journey to journey, so we all know it's very important to know about the land we're going to.

And what is well known among such halflings is the 'Nekoya door'.

Doyo Day every 7th.

Black doors depicting cats appear everywhere in the world.

It's connected to a different world restaurant called 'Nekoya', where you can eat different world dishes.

Different worlds of cuisine are extraordinarily different and very tasty.

So just on Doyo Day, if you're near the door, you should go eat.

I'm sure you can eat delicious food.

Both Pickett and Packett are well aware of the Nekoya door and the other world dining room that lies ahead.

Anyway, the two of them learned how to cook. Halfling.

The interest in food matters is twice as strong as the people, and even the meals are twice as strong.

We've been to different world cafeterias with each other's families many times.

All the dishes in the different world cafeterias are flying apart and delicious.

"Tocha! All right, there is!

"No one else..."

After successfully discovering a black door that floats snugly in the heart of the woods, also off the beast path in the woods, I look around with Kyorokyoro to see if anyone else is around to approach me.

Due to the fact that the Nekoya door can only be used once a day, it is quite often 'monopolized' by residents living nearby.

Famous among half-rings, the doors that appear on the altar of Lizardman will undoubtedly be attacked by a herd of Lizardmans if an outsider tries to use them, and burned to such an extent that there is no ash left at the point of approach, such as the doors that the 'Midnight Lady' would be using.

In some cases, between halflings, it was manners and iron rules to examine the area well when using the Nekoya door.

"... yeah. There's no sign of it being used for a while."

"Well, let's go"

"Yeah. Let's go. Let's go!

I checked the area and made sure that there wasn't a creature near here that seemed to be able to open the door for a while. The other two hold hands, and Pickett opens the door.

The sound of chillin 'chillin' and ringing bells.

"There you are... oh, were you Mr. Pickett and Mr. Packett? Long time no see."

Says the shopkeeper when he sees Gayagaya and the picket and packet that came into the crowded store welcoming some customers.

"Right! When did you get here?

"Eh... but about the end of summer!

I'll give it back to you in a flamboyant way with something you're used to.

A dwarf… Halfling does not settle in one place, so there is no 'regular' to visit a different world cafeteria every week.

The halfling itself comes quite a bit, but the same guests rarely come, as the halfling happens to be near the door on Saturday.

"More than that, uncle! Give me the menu first!

"And what's today's day shift?

"Yes, sir. Please wait a moment. And today's day is cream croquette."

Still bitterly smiling at the two with high tensions, the shopkeeper announces today's day.

"Cream croquette!

"Fried Knight's Sauce Breadcrumbs!

Exactly heavenly destiny. The two look at each other and laugh nicely.

"Uncle! Give me two cream croquettes first! I'm Rice!

"I'm bread! And bring the menu with you! Because I'm gonna eat a lot today!

Place your order before you get to your seat, and Pickett and Packett sit in the right chair and let your feet plump with excitement.

"Yes, yes... the snug dwarves are always fine."

With a bitter smile at those two, the shopkeeper pulls into the back.

"You still have a lot of people today, Pickett!

"Right! That's funny, Packe!

While waiting, Pickett and Packett look around the area with extra hippos.

There is still a wide variety of guests in the different world cafeterias today.

Young daughter eating 'menthikatsu' with plenty of sauce.

A young daughter dressed in beautiful clothes who eats sweet 'parfait' to melt.

A man of flair who said he was a young husband of a merchant who was eager to taste the 'Neapolitan' and write down his thoughts.

Lizard man eating 'omelet rice' without a look on his face not knowing what he's thinking right next to it.

An elf man with a magical fine sword hanging on his waist, eating a 'nut spa' with a sauce of rotten beans, not even a picket yet.

There's even a table where a midget about the size of a picket's palm in matching clothes gathers around a hundred people on the table for a plate of 'hot cake'.

We don't usually get all sorts of guests here in one place.

A place that even crosses the walls of the race and comes to eat food.

The Dining Room of the Other World was an unusual place that looked exactly like the other world.

"That's funny, Pickett!

"Right! If you could come every day, it would be interesting to come every day, Packe!

Waiting for such a conversation, the shopkeeper finally brings the food.

"Thank you for waiting. It's cream croquette."

Hot dishes are arranged in the hands of the owner.

Three hot wheat cream croquettes arranged on a plate with chopped raw leafy vegetables and red, small marmet fruit.

"" Ooh! "

Two voices are hammered.

For the first dish of the day, the two take knives and forks with great anticipation.

The knife enters the cream croquette with the sakuri and the pleasant sound.

Thickening and overflowing is a white knight's sauce mixed with red.

Fluffy, the two move their noses tingly to the good smell of overflowing knight sauce.

Puffiness, when included in the mouth, spreads to the taste of soft meat that is different from the intense flavour that contains the unique, rustic sweetness of the knight's sauce and the flavour of the sea mixed with it.

"" Mmm! "

Similar The couple's pickets and packets raise their voices at the same time and swallow the cheeky hot steam as it escapes through their mouths.

"Yummy!"

"It tastes like the sea!"

Talk to each of them about the taste of what they ate.

The food at the Different World Dining Room was excellent today.

"Then now... I'm this way!

"I'm over here!

The second one reports the contents of the cream croquette eaten by Pickett and Packett, who, as indicated, have their hands on separate cream croquettes.

"This one was smoked meat and mushrooms!

The contents of the cream croquette that Pickett ate were smoked meat and mushrooms.

Small, finely chopped and stir-fried, moderately fat smoked meat and thick mushrooms.

The cream that inhales the two flavors spreads across the mouth.

It was good to eat and tasted well with the rice I would eat with it.

"These are yellow grains! Sweet!"

The contents of the cream croquette eaten by one packet are grains of yellow vegetables.

Yellow vegetables are very sweet, as if they were fruits.

That further strengthens the sweetness that the knight's sauce originally had, making it a sweet croquette like a treat.

It was a delicious dish to eat with this bread with a faint sweetness.

"Oh my God! Then I'm over here too... yeah! Sweet and delicious!

"I'm over here! Yeah! The meat tastes delicious!

Pickett and Packett each get their hands on the last cream croquette and finish eating all one plate of cream croquette.

"Yeah! It was delicious!... So, what do we eat next?

"Eh..."

Then the two face each other and peek at the menu.

Neither of us ate at all.

Two halflings as big as a human child but many times as edible as a human.

Their meal has just begun.

"That was delicious..."

"Yeah! It's been a while, so maybe I ate a little too much"

When I flattened my meal for 10 servings per person and got my sandwich wrapped up for lunch tomorrow and came back, it was completely dark around.

The stomachs of the two boulders are also pampered and the faces of the two are satisfied.

"Shall we go back today!

"Yeah! Let's sleep in a fluffy futon!

Hurry up the road to the inn with all that noisy talk.

"Where are we going next?

"Uh-huh... you know, the cream croquette that tasted like the ocean was delicious, so I guess the ocean would be nice!

Lightly, decide where to go next. Always on the journey, with a half-like ambiguity.

"Oh my God! Then why don't we just get on the boat now! I've never been on a big one!

"Ah, me too! That might be good! Let's do that!

The full moon up in the sky illuminated brilliantly the two laughing halflings, speaking amicably.
