The Other World Dining Hall (WN)

Sweet potato tart again

To the thinning air as it gets higher, the young cleric Gustavo, not long after adulthood, flies as he shorts his breath haha.

A blue sky with white clouds, stretching out to the front, long enough to think it's going on everywhere.

Still, the mountain air left over from the winter's remnants is cold enough to think it will freeze when inhaled, relentlessly depriving Gustavo of his health.

(Chi, isn't Father bitter...)

With a sumptuous eye, I see that flying in the front.

Antonio, a senior cleric of the Golden God and father of his own, who grows and flies stronger and bigger wings than his own.

A forged body carved out of gold and carved out of clergy literature that made the clergyman wear only to fly.

It was the bravery of a man who was said to be 'one of the most vulnerable races of those who served the great gods' but who had fought many times against the followers of the Red God and the Green God and even stopped the Great Cleric who had turned into a dragon, at the same time a longing from an early age.

- Can I finally fly? Then we shall take him to a good place.

With those words, Gustavo came to this place.

The tallest cut cliffs around here, visible from the house.

I accidentally doubted my ears when I was told that Gustavo would use the 'dragon wings' he had finally worn encouraging his training during the winter months and would ascend to its top.

Sure, with dragon wings, you can fly high and far.

But when it comes to being able to ascend this cut cliff, it will have to be accompanied by considerable training.

(also, I can't do it anymore...)

With a situation where the top is invisible and a headache in thin air, Gustavo loosens his wings and tries to put his foot down on the rock shelf on the cliff.

It is then.

Antonio's hard, big hand grabs disappointingly on Gustavo's arm, which is being trained accordingly.

"Almost to the top… now refine so you can ascend yourself"

With those words, Antonio wings more forcefully, holding onto those arms.

"Wow, wow!

Dragged along with the shock of wondering if his shoulders would come off, Gustavo screams unexpectedly.

"Yes, I did."

For a moment, shortly after I wondered if something black had gotten into my eyes, the wall I had always seen disappeared and the blue sky enveloped my entire body.

(of, climbed...?

Shortly after that thought, his hands are released to throw, Gustavo descends on a chopped cliff, a little scaffold.

"I see, this is amazing..."

Gustavo breathes in the view from there.

Blue skies that even follow, with nothing to block them from even pushing through the clouds. It was the first sight I saw in my life for Gustavo not long after gaining wings.

(I see. This is... good)

That's what I think, and I turn around to hang my words on Antonio, who brought me here.

"No. What are you doing? Get your clothes ready."

But Antonio, for some reason, sees the sky and instructs his son, who is in love, to wing and change to prepare him for where he is going.

"Clothes? Father, is that... Huh?

Gustavo, who tried to overhear the words, realizes.

Behind Antonio...... that there is an out of place black door on the wall of a chopped cliff.

"Father. What the hell is that door...?

"Uhm. I would have told you. I'll take you to a good place to celebrate your wings."

Antonio nods one to his son's words and I answer him.

Tell me what the door behind it is.

"This is a good place… it is the door to a restaurant of different worlds"

Hard to believe, the truth.

Chillin 'chillin' and a bell, two parents and children knocking at the door.

"This is the other world..."

To unfamiliar decorations and guests, Gustavo unexpectedly looks around.

(That's a lot of humans... I don't even think of them as the people of the White God)

Guests who wore unfamiliar clothes and visited unfamiliar food shops… they were mostly human.

Regardless, if you look closely, you can also see things like Lamia, who looks like the people of the Red God, the beast man wrapped in cleric clothes serving the Green God, and Seylane, a species that is often available to the Golden God, but there are many humans in the whole view.

Few relatives serve the great six-pillar God, except for the white God, who is known to give man strong protection clearly.

There is a multitude of races with only wisdom to serve the gods, but in order to receive their protection as strongly as those closer to the realm of God's protection in general.

For example, the golden god of Gustavo shall be the god of the sky.

Therefore there are many species in the clergy of the Golden God who were born with wings and able to fly in the sky who said Seylane, Harpy, Birdman or Teng.

Rather, there is a minority among the people who serve the god of gold, who are able to undergo rigorous training and finally fly through the sky with wings.

Despite this, there are many people in this store. On the contrary.

"Thank you for waiting. I've got your reservation."

"Um, good luck. And then I'm gonna need warmed cow's milk."

To the supplicant daughter of this store, who is in a frantic conversation with her father, is a people who serve chaos, the common enemy of all gods, to be seen from the horns grown from his head and from the quality of the magic that faintly rises from his body.

"Father, are you sure? You can leave me alone."

"Good, rather than rambling and annoying here. The land is watched over by the gods."

After the service leaves, Antonio unwittingly confirms in a whisper that he is still young, and for that matter he hangs his words to teach the unheard son of accommodation.

"Besides, I made you prepare something special for your celebration today. Enjoy it today more than fighting."

That's what I asked for seven days ago, and I see a special item served on a large plate.

Golden kumara, filled with vessels of soft tart confectionery dough, and sweet-boiled seals adorned on it.

brown of vessels, golden of Kumara, and clear candied seals.

"Again, this is a very sumptuous treat. Is this golden thing Kumara?"

Gustavo, who prefers something sweet for the looks of Antonio, speaks up with interest to the confectionery placed on the large plate in front of him.

"Um, I talked to the Lord here, and I heard that this' apple and sweet potato tart 'would be a good idea at this time of year. I got it made."

Honestly, this is my first time eating Antonio as well, but I'm not worried just because I know how delicious Kumara's sweet 'Sweet Potato Tart' tastes in this store.

"Come on, let's try to eat... it's called cruelty just to watch"

And a small feast between the two parents and children began.

Antonio takes a shining silver knife to cut the confectionery placed on a large plate.

(Hmm, this big tart is good inside too)

Cut into three sun moon shapes, clear candied seals are arranged to paint the full moon, beneath which stretches the sea of golden Kumara.

A silver knife slips like a boat to tear the sea apart, and the golden sea is cut apart.

Hearing the sound of my son sipping gokuri and spit in front of me, I take a slightly larger slice of the cut tart and gently give it to Gustavo on the little plate I followed with him.

"Today is your celebration. Eat from you."

"... is it good?"

To that, Gustavo is surprised as he honestly receives it.

It is usually the father in front of him who is the head of the family and a clan cleric, but therefore eats the best part of any dish first.

That's what gave my son the biggest top part, even though it was a treat he cut off from his hand.

"What, never mind. Now I don't have the eyes of any other clan. You and I are the only ones here."

To that word, Antonio throws away just a little of his usual majesty and makes him smile.

Antonio is a powerful cleric. Therefore, toughness and majesty are required to deal with the clan.

But there are few golden gods involved here.

That's why Antonio can treat his family a little, too.

"Eat better than that. I've never seen this before, but it looks delicious."

"Yes."

Encouraged by his father's words, Gustavo takes the sweets placed on the plate.

(Uh-huh, you've never seen a bright golden kumara so far)

Kumara peeking from the cut cross section is really bright golden and makes you feel like it would be a waste to eat just that.

Even Gustavo is, so I would have been happier if my mother were looking for some delicious Kumara in the market.

"... this is delicious"

That was the first feeling that leaked.

The first thing that hit my teeth was the seal and the sweets laid on the lower part.

The lightly boiled seal leaves a soft but only a little toothpick, with a mixture of the sweetness of the sugar-boiled deceased and the slight acidity that the seal itself possesses, followed by the flavor of some kind of brown spice that would have sprinkled after the simmer, which just makes it taste good enough.

And the confectionery below creeps apart on the teeth, leaving the flavors of milk and butter as the finish, whilst giving it a different sweetness than that of the fruit.

And more centrally located than anything else. The golden Kumara was wonderful.

Apparently, this confectionery was crushed once in mind the Kumara that put it through the fire.

Thoroughly crushed kumara is just baked, no bossy texture of just boiled kumara, smoothly spreading the sweetness of kumara in the mouth, different from fruit and sugar confectionery.

Also in this kumara was a mixture of square-cut seals.

Unlike the seal decorated above, this seal is not braised in sugar.

That's why the sourness is strong and the sweetness weak.

That had added three kinds of sweetness: azaleas, confectionery, and kumara.

"Surprised. I didn't know there was such a delicious treat in this world."

"It will be. I was surprised when I first ate the sweets here too."

To my son's honest feelings, Antonio reaches out and eats the cut tart while also satisfying himself with sharing his secrets for the first time.

(... no. This doesn't work)

And I was surprised by the taste, just like my son.

I always eat it, and the little tarts are delicious, but this was just a specially deserved treat.

I didn't think the deliciousness of the carefully treated Kumara would be as sweet and sour as the seal placed on top.

This is not enough for one large plate.

"... WOW!?

If you think so, my son was already in the third slice.

Apparently, my young appetite made me forget something called reluctance.

(This is not going to work!

If I was voyeurizing, I would just have eaten one slice and it would be over.

Intuitive about it, Antonio reached for the tart himself in a hurry.

In the end, one large plate of tart is not enough, I order my usual tart sometime, and where I have eaten enough, the two drink satisfactorily warmed cow's milk.

The warm milk of the sweet thin cow washes the sweetened tongue and falls into the belly filled with tart.

"" Ugh. "

The unintentional sighs align, laughing at each other a little shy.

"Store owner, it's a treat"

Speak that word, take the gold bag out of your nostalgia and give it more than usual.

"Yes. Thank you. Stay tuned."

"Mm-hmm. I'll be in trouble again for a while. Please."

Gustavo secretly stops serving while his father talks to a human breed shopkeeper like that, he says.

"Can I have just a little more of this candy called tart? I want to take it home. I'll pay you right."

It's so good. Give it to the priest's daughter, who I'm sure cares about, and I'll distract you.

From that feeling, Gustavo makes a souvenir clinic out of the money he earns as a cleric of his own.

"Yes, I'm fine."

The servant answers with a beautiful smile inside, without the nastiness of a chaotic people.

It is not uncommon for customers to bring back cakes originally.

There are quite a few guests who ask to eat when they get home and when they can afford their stomach.

"Then you are. Just wrap it in the same number as the fingers on both hands."

That's how Gustavo calculates who to give it to, while placing the order.

... later, without realizing it would inspire you to run up those rugged cliffs all year round.
