The Peerless Kobold (WN)

Things to stay after the battle

During the earlier battle, the cats and daughters who hurried away led them to flee to the north side.

In that direction are the cats who have been evacuated earlier, so they should be able to rendezvous if they succeed, but they have to be searched if they don't know where they are.

We cannot deny the possibility that they will temporarily try to hide in the woods and do it, so we turn back to the village of Luqua, assuming future developments.

There was still a body of a cat man left there, exposed to an unbroken appearance of a part of his body being stirred by the goblins. In addition to one warrior who was sacrificed in earlier battles, the cats have made twelve sacrifices in this Goblin raid.

"... you can't run out of money, Liz"

"Yeah, I miss you even if you win..."

"Damn!!

"Huh..."

I guess many of the bodies here are warriors from the village of Luqua and fellow workers we worked out together. The cat warriors mourn the dead to each of them.

"First, let's gather everyone's bodies in one place..."

Under Wallace's direction, the bodies are moved from where the victims came to an end and delivered to the hemp bag they brought from the village warehouse.

In the meantime, the cats meet back to see what's going on.

Yesterday, the cats who were evacuating to the Sherna River on the north side of the village were strictly ordered by Wallace to wait until they heard the news, so it would be those who fled in a different direction who returned to the village after one night.

"... Mr. Wallace, can I help you?

"Thank you, get rid of the Goblins' burning trail, etc."

"Oh, I'll do it"

I pull Liz's sleeve and write letters on the ground while everyone is being chased for post-processing.

"What's going on?

“Tell them to check all the well water in the village too, something might be thrown in”

"That's scary..."

“Just in case, let the susceptible little animals drink it and see how it goes for a few hours”

"Yeah, I get it. Dad, can I talk to you for a second?

It may seem nervous... but I've seen towns planted with retarded poison during the mercenary years and wiped out in conjunction with raids.

After a while, some cat warriors are left behind where the various treatments have progressed to some extent to make their way near the Sherna River. In search of the cats and daughters who just let them escape, while we go to retrieve the evacuated villagers.

"Arvor, Wa-oon."

A lancer who concentrates his consciousness on his sense of smell captures the smell of a cat man in the air. As the act itself was part of the hunt, it swayed pretentiously into small pieces, as when her tail found its prey.

Likewise, the face of my sister and Buster, who are concentrating on their sense of smell, is reminiscent of that during the hunt...

Niichan Chottiitkuru

"Aww."

Shaking his fox tail happily, he gestures to stop his sister, who kills the signs and sends him a hand sign, to go to Liz.

"Yeah, I got it."

She deliberately makes the sound of a leaf rub and slowly approaches and calls out as she draws attention to her opponent.

"It's all right now, come out"

"That... Liz?

A young catman's daughter crawled out of the bush. Apparently, I know Liz, but I have trouble finding a place for my eyes because those clothes are torn when the goblins riot me...

"Liz, take this..."

"Thank you, Dad."

Wallace, who stopped by the two sides as she missed her gaze, gave her coat to Liz, and she hung it on her cat daughter's shoulder to do it.

"Thank you, Liz. And Liz's father."

"Oh, never mind, 'cause we're gonna have trouble getting eyes done, too."

"Already, Dad! Look at Amelia like that!! Can you tell your mother?

"... give me a break, Liz"

The father's position seems painful in every race...

Anyway, I got to the Sherna River when I found four cat daughters in that condition.

As the two cats and daughters, who were not located in the shallow waters, picked up together and retraced the river to the cats of the evacuated village of Luqua, cheering from the cats by the river where they could see this one.

Gradually closer, there were the two remaining cat daughters in their center who let them escape. Apparently they were hearing about some of the fighting in the woods. From among those dozens of cats, Liz's mother entered with some laid-back impression.

"Welcome back, you"

"I'm home, Emina"

She greets her husband, who went out for a moment, as if he had returned, and she speaks to her daughter in the same way.

"Is Liz hurt, too?

"It's okay, Mother."

"You've got a lot of abrasions."

Around her daughter's worried mother, the other cat warriors are equally assured of her family's safety... but the problem is that there is not enough.

"Excuse me, Mr. Wallace. Where is Jayne?

"... I'm sorry, Mr. Arne. I couldn't bring your husband home."

"Oh, no!? It's a lie!!

"........................... I'm not gonna lie about this"

"Uh-oh."

"Arne!"

A young woman cries down and her body supports her shoulders. Their expression is also a sad one, but I guess they can't leave the disturbing woman alone.

In a quiet place, a sobbing voice sounded for a while...

We all arrived on our way back to the village of Lucua, waiting for the cat woman known as Arne to settle down, but the sight was repeated there among the families of the cats who had been sacrificed.
