The perfect future of rebirth

Malo principal, distinguished teacher, friends, family, and 2013 graduates: I am honored to share your achievements and glory today.

But I have to admit that I have some uneasiness to participate in this event. I think that there have been more and more serious graduation ceremony, which is more interested in listening, but it is more prominent than any other communication form.

So, I will be useful as possible. My recommendations are from my own experience. And my experience, from a lot of respect, there is nothing different from yours.

In the environment I have grown, the university is more like a good wish, not a matter of course.

I have witnessed my parents' struggle, and I will work hard every day to maintain livelihoods, sometimes I will even disseminate any expectations and dreams of me.

They didn't go through college, and my only brother didn't read the university. My father organizes the mail in the post office.

He chooses night shifts because of 10% of the remuneration, my mother is a receptionist of an anti-theft alert company - this is also one of the few growth industries in the community.

I grew up in Linden Community. Many of you know that this is a residential project in the East District of New York.

It once, now is a poor community, but also produces some achievements, some because of this background, and some because of overcoming this background.

I graduated in Thomas Jefferson High School, and the school closed the high school and only provided a variety of skill training projects.

Until high school graduated, I have been sharing a small apartment with my huge family, including my grandmother, my sister and my nephew.

In the long growth, my biggest goal is to get out of the New York East District. I participated in the college entrance examination and vowed to enter the university. I succeeded. When I was going to school, I was also my first time left New York City.

The university is a place that makes me awe. Other students seem to be very confident, many people have been traveling everywhere and looks very well in this world. Until today, I still have no way to forget the insecurity I am, but this feeling makes me work harder.

I am proud that the LaGadia Community University and Goldman Sachs Group jointly put forward support for small businesses. Through this cooperation, I also saw how many students in the LaGadia Community University in schools, work and families. I also saw these students, as well as everyone in the seats, how to encourage themselves, and perseve it.

It's just that you can appear today, you have proved your own positioning. Now you have already determined, and it has grown your own ambition. This means focus, self-discipline, strict, self-critical and open mentality. The challenge to your challenge will not disappear, in fact, they will only be more severe.

It is obviously not the best economic period, but the economy always has a cycle. In your life, you will experience a lot of cycles, like this, you can spend smoothly. Don't have any unrealistic optimism or try to find pessimism.

Despite this, many people can change quickly and get a lot of boosts. Your security will come from know how to do a variety of things - and better than others.

These knowledge and abilities can only be obtained by constantly pursuing better things. This may mean changing the occupational path or pursue new ideas, or the strategy of your current career. No matter which case, you should force yourself try new things and grow in every step.

After reading a university, I spent three years at the School of Law, followed by a big New York Law Firm. Although this has always been my dream, when I get it, I found me not like it.

Although in my life, I first gained financial security, but I knew that I didn't have enough Jī Qíng. Moreover, because I don't love the job, I will never be able to meet it, or really good at this job. People who love this kind of work will focus more active on it. For some people, this is fun, for me, this is always a bitterness.

After the life of five nián de shì, I decided to try some different things. I went home to tell my wife, I have to resign, she cried, and not because of happy. Anyway, things are still going well, I found new work in a small War Street company, and later acquired by larger companies, I have to enter this larger institution, Goldman Sachs Group.

In my career, I am very lucky to know and work together with many of the top CEOs and business leaders in this country. I can always be created by the kind of jī qíng that they succeed. They may be very rich, amazing, but their jī qíng far beyond money and power.

Today, I am not going to tell you this is not good. They are very good, as long as there is a bigger goal in your mind. If you don't work about your own work, or if you don't make your child better life than yourself, then you will not have something that makes you sustainable.
