Chapter 2404 - 2397: The Little Sister-in-law Arrives
The fat guy instantly broke out in a cold sweat, eyes full of shock and disbelief. He’d never imagined that the girl who used to seem so simple-minded was actually this deep and scheming.
"Zhou Ying, do you really have to go this far?" the fat guy said in a low voice.

The woman curled her lip in disdain. "Hao Shaowen, take a good look at that pig face of yours. You think you get to sleep with me? Let me be straight with you, I’m already thirty‑five. I’m qualified to be your mom, hahaha."
Only now did the fat guy realize he’d been completely duped by this woman. His whole face flushed scarlet. No wonder that back when Zhou Ying was with him, she was always caked in heavy makeup, never showered in front of him, and wouldn’t let him touch her.
"Where’s the money?" The woman’s expression chilled; she clearly didn’t want to waste another breath.
"Zhou Ying, I’m just a college student. How could I possibly have that much money?" the fat guy said, face darkening.
"Heh, Hao Shaowen, didn’t you tell me you were a local in the Imperial Capital? Your family must have an apartment. Housing prices here are insane right now—just sell the place," the woman sneered.
"If I sell the apartment, where do I live? Where do my parents live?"
"That’s your problem." The woman looked completely unconcerned.
"You—!"
Seeing the fat guy about to lose it, Wang Dadong quickly grabbed him, then squinted a smile and pulled a blank sheet of paper from his bag. He took out a pen and swiftly wrote the words "Two Million" on it, then handed it to the woman.
The woman frowned when she saw this. "You two trying to play me?"
"Yeah, we’re playing you," Wang Dadong said with a cold smile.
"Fine. See you in court!" The woman shot to her feet in fury and turned to leave.
"No, wait!" The fat guy panicked the moment he heard the word "court."
Wang Dadong, however, wasn’t anxious at all. He picked up his coffee, took a sip, and drawled, "I suggest you take a look at the IOU before you decide."
The woman didn’t understand what Wang Dadong meant, but she still pulled out the IOU and started reading. She didn’t believe for a second that Wang Dadong would dare snatch it away by force.
However, once she saw the words on the IOU, Zhou Ying was completely stunned. On the IOU it clearly said, "Hereby borrow Hao Shaowen for one night, to be repaid in month X. Borrower: Zhou Ying, month X."
"H‑how did my IOU turn into this?" Zhou Ying stared at the IOU in her hand in disbelief.
The fat guy was also taken aback, not understanding why Zhou Ying’s attitude had suddenly flipped. He took the IOU from her and looked; he was instantly dumbfounded. It had obviously been him lending Zhou Ying two million, so how did it become Zhou Ying borrowing him for one night?
Wang Dadong squinted his eyes in a smile. "Fatty, what’s written on the IOU? Read it out loud."
The fat guy immediately read, "Hereby borrow Hao Shaowen for one night, to be repaid in month X. Borrower, Zhou Ying. Huaxia, September 13, 2014."
2014, September 13—wasn’t that today!
Wang Dadong patted the fat guy’s shoulder and grinned wickedly. "Fatty, didn’t you say you’ve never touched her? Well, lucky you, today’s the due date."
The fat guy hadn’t expected things to flip like this. Whether or not he could actually sleep with Zhou Ying, at least he didn’t have to pay the money anymore. Even though Zhou Ying wore heavy makeup, she still looked pretty damn good. Son of a bitch, she dared to extort me? I’m sleeping with her tonight!
"You—you swapped out my IOU!"
"Which eye of yours saw us swap your IOU?" Wang Dadong said with a wicked smirk. "Didn’t you say you had hidden cameras set up? Just go pull the footage and take a look, then you’ll know."
Zhou Ying was completely at a loss. She had indeed secretly sent people to film, but nobody had touched her IOU just now. It was like her IOU had vanished into thin air, and then a brand‑new IOU where she owed the fat guy appeared out of nowhere.
Realizing she’d eaten it today, Zhou Ying stamped her foot in fury and turned to leave, but Wang Dadong called after her.
"Hold up!"
"What more do you want?"
"You owe the fat guy one night, and the due date is today. You planning to default?" Wang Dadong said with a wicked grin.
"You..." Zhou Ying was completely floored.
"What, ’you’ what? If you don’t repay today, then I’ll see you in court," Wang Dadong said smugly, waving the IOU in his hand.
Of course an IOU like this had basically zero legal effect—who the hell officially ’borrows’ another person for a night? But if this mess really got dragged into court, Zhou Ying’s reputation would be beyond saving.
Zhou Ying’s expression kept shifting, and finally she grit her teeth and said, "Fine, you win. I spend my days preying on others and now I’ve finally gotten my own eyes pecked out!"
"It’s called ’those who do evil too often end up destroying themselves,’" Wang Dadong said, stuffing the IOU into the fat guy’s hand. He winked at him. "I’ve set the stage for you. Now it’s up to you to seize your chance."
With that, he patted the fat guy’s shoulder and walked out of the café.
Wang Dadong didn’t think being older was any kind of crime. But if you were going to use it to scam people, that was another story.
As for the IOU, that had been child’s play. Before Zhou Ying even stepped into the café, the IOU had already been swapped by members of Hell that Wang Dadong had dispatched.
Just as Wang Dadong stepped out of the coffee shop, his phone rang.
It was an unfamiliar number. Wang Dadong figured it was some spam caller and ignored it.
But the caller was relentless, dialing over and over.
Wang Dadong had no choice but to pick up. A slightly mischievous voice came through the receiver.
"Brother‑in‑law, where are you?"
"Who is this?"
"You big jerk, having fun out there with my sis and you’ve totally forgotten your most adorable little sister‑in‑law!" The voice on the other end carried mock anger and real dissatisfaction.
Wang Dadong immediately recognized it as Lin Shir’s voice. This girl—when did she change her number?
"Shishi, what’s up?"
"Can’t I call my brother‑in‑law even if there’s nothing up?"
"Oh. Yeah, you can."
"Brother‑in‑law, where are you?"
"Why do you want to know that? You’re not even in the Imperial Capital," Wang Dadong said, curling his lip.
"Who said I’m not in the Imperial Capital! Hurry up, send me your location." The Little Devil’s smug voice came over the phone.
Even though he wasn’t totally convinced Lin Shir had actually come to the Imperial Capital, Wang Dadong still sent her his location.
Twenty minutes later, a Beetle with a 2.0‑liter engine pulled up in front of Wang Dadong.
"You rotten brother‑in‑law, get in!" Lin Shir rolled down the window and stuck her head out.
"Holy shit, you really came to the Imperial Capital." Seeing his delicate, adorable little sister‑in‑law show up in front of him, Wang Dadong finally believed it.
"Well, brother‑in‑law? I came all this way just to see you. Touched, right?" Lin Shir immediately wrapped herself around Wang Dadong’s arm.
"Touched my ass. You sure you came to see me and not for some other reason?" Wang Dadong did not buy that Lin Shir’s motives were that pure.
"I swear, absolutely no other reason!" Lin Shir raised both hands in a mock oath.
"Whatever, I’m too lazy to grill you. Does your sister know you came to the Imperial Capital?"
"Brother‑in‑law, you mustn’t tell my sis. If she finds out I snuck out, she’ll definitely have someone drag me back!" Lin Shir immediately looked up at Wang Dadong with a pitiful, puppy‑eyed stare.
"That depends on how you behave," Wang Dadong said.
