Chapter 2409 - 2402: Can I Follow You?

Soon, the manager handed the phone to the cold and glamorous policewoman, looking completely disdainful. "Your Deputy Director Gao wants to talk to you."

The cold policewoman frowned and took the phone.

A deep middle-aged voice came through the line. "Comrade Xiao Hu, there absolutely can’t be any sex trade in Hongxin Hotel, so I need you to pull your team back immediately."

A bitter smile crept onto the policewoman’s face. Was she going to have to compromise again this time?

No, absolutely not!

Since she was wearing this uniform, she should be serving the people, and even more she should be enforcing the law impartially!

She spoke into the phone right away. "Sorry, Director Gao, whether there is any sex trade or not is something we’ll only know after I finish my investigation."

"Are you disobeying orders?" The voice on the phone was full of displeasure.

The cold policewoman didn’t say another word; she hung up directly. "Open the doors, now!"

Soon, the police started opening the doors to the rooms one by one.

Sure enough, there were plenty of shady dealings inside. Besides the sex trade, there were actually people doing drugs.

Before long, one "miss" after another, barely covered, was dragged out and made to squat in rows in the hallway.

The police arrived at Room 203 where Wang Dadong was staying.

"Hmph, bad brother-in-law, you can’t blame me for this! Who told you to do my sister wrong!" Lin Shir gave an evil little shake of her tiny fist.

Bang!

The bedroom door was violently kicked open by the police.

When she saw what was going on inside, Lin Shir was instantly stunned.

She saw Jiang Qingqing comfortably lying on her stomach on the bed, while Wang Dadong held a silver needle in his hand, gently twisting it.

"You two, what are you doing?" Lin Shir realized the situation didn’t quite match what she’d imagined.

Jiang Qingqing was startled by the sudden rush-in of the police and Lin Shir, and stammered, "I—I asked Doctor Wang to do acupuncture for me, ah—this feels so good."

Then she started moaning again. "Wang Dadong, go deeper, deeper."

Actually, Wang Dadong had already noticed the police coming, but he didn’t care at all, and kept slowly turning the silver needle in his hand. He wasn’t doing anything illegal, so what was there to be afraid of?

"You weren’t doing that thing? You’ve just been doing acupuncture this whole time?" Lin Shir stared wide-eyed in shock.

Wang Dadong turned around and shot her an annoyed look. "You ever seen anyone doing that thing with their clothes still on?"

Then he glanced at the police who had rushed in and said, "Officers, acupuncture isn’t against the law, right?"

"Anti-Yellow operation. Please take out your IDs." one cop said.

"Give me two more minutes and I’ll be done with the acupuncture. Can you wait?"

So, Wang Dadong continued with the acupuncture, and Jiang Qingqing kept making those moans that could easily lead people’s minds astray.

"Oh, sorry, Officer Sis, I think I might have misunderstood." Lin Shir blushed a little and spoke to the cold policewoman.

The cold policewoman nodded. "It’s fine. You’ve actually been a big help this time."

With that, she made a gesture to call off the operation.

Two minutes later, Wang Dadong put away the silver needle, looked at Lin Shir, and said, "Shishi, your internal heat’s been a bit high lately. Want me to give you a few needles too? I guarantee your whole body will feel wonderful."

"Yeah, Shishi, you should let Brother Dadong give you a couple of needles too, it’s super great!" Jiang Qingqing said, still savoring it.

The feeling just now had really been too wonderful.

Lin Shir glared at Jiang Qingqing irritably. Brother Dadong this, Brother Dadong that—acting all close!

She grumbled, "I mean you’re doing acupuncture, so just do acupuncture. What’s with all the moaning? You had me thinking you two were..."

Only then did Jiang Qingqing remember what she’d come here to do, and said a bit sheepishly, "Oh come on, Shishi, it really does feel amazing. If you let Brother Dadong give you a couple of needles, you’ll see. I bet you’ll be screaming louder than me."

"Get lost! You disloyal traitor!" Lin Shir shot Jiang Qingqing an annoyed glare.

"Um, brother-in-law, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have suspected you." Lin Shir said to Wang Dadong, sounding a little apologetic.

Wang Dadong cleared his throat. "It’s fine. As long as you can admit your mistakes and correct them, it’s all good. Just make sure you don’t pull something like this ever again." He’d been wondering why his peach blossom luck was suddenly off the charts tonight; turns out this little rascal had been stirring up trouble behind the scenes.

Damn, this Little Devil had once again reached a new level of screwing him over.

Good thing he hadn’t...

Otherwise, with the cops barging in just then, things would’ve gotten real interesting.

"Uncle, you came to the Imperial Capital too!"

Wang Dadong turned around and saw a woman with a round little face and an insanely hot figure staring at him with big bright eyes.

Han Shasha, anchor from Jiangdu TV Station.

Wang Dadong had run into her a few times before—especially last time when Dongyan Construction Company had an incident. If she hadn’t tipped him off in advance, it would’ve taken a lot more effort to smooth things over.

"Sasha, what are you doing in the Imperial Capital?" Wang Dadong asked.

"I’m here for training." Han Shasha said with a smile.

"What a coincidence." Wang Dadong nodded.

"Brother-in-law, wow, you’ve even hooked up with a TV anchor!" Lin Shir naturally recognized Han Shasha too—she’d seen her on TV, of course.

"Ahem, don’t talk nonsense. Sasha and I are just friends. If you don’t believe me, ask Sasha..."

"Uncle, can I follow you around today?" But before Wang Dadong could finish his sentence, Han Shasha cut in.

"And you still say there’s nothing going on!" Lin Shir’s beautiful eyes went round.

Feeling extremely awkward, Wang Dadong looked at Han Shasha. "Why do you want to follow me?"

"Oh come on, you’re a grown man. What, you’re scared I’ll do something to you?" Seeing the wary look on Wang Dadong’s face, Han Shasha teased him.

Wang Dadong curled his lip. "I’m not scared you’ll do something to me. I’m scared I might accidentally do something to you."

As he said that, a wicked gleam flashed in his eyes as he openly let his gaze sweep over Han Shasha’s full, perky curves.

Facing Wang Dadong’s gaze, Han Shasha acted like she hadn’t noticed at all, her expression unchanged. Come on, she was a TV anchor after all—she’d seen all kinds of big scenes. Did he really think a dirty look or two was going to scare her?

Seeing that Han Shasha wasn’t buying his act, Wang Dadong shrugged helplessly. If she wanted to tag along, then so be it.

Just then, Han Shasha’s phone rang. She gave Wang Dadong an apologetic look and said, "Uncle, I’m gonna take this call. Wait for me, okay?" Then she walked off a bit to answer it.

Wang Dadong immediately circulated his qi to his ears, secretly eavesdropping on the beauty anchor’s phone call.

"I told you to go interview Young Master Liu. Why didn’t you go?" An annoyed voice came from the phone.

"Deputy, Deputy Director, there are so many people at the station. Why do you insist on sending me?" Han Shasha stomped her foot and spoke through clenched teeth.

"Hmph, if Young Master Liu hadn’t specifically asked for you to do the interview, you think it would be your turn? Don’t be so blind to your own good fortune."

Han Shasha’s delicate brows knit together. If Young Master Liu really just wanted her to do an interview, that’d be one thing—but he’d actually arranged for the interview to be held in a hotel, which clearly meant he had something else in mind.
