Sleeping on the floor could only be done in the room, as the living room floor wasn’t wooden, and after the day’s destruction, it was uneven and unsuitable for laying down bedding.
Li Xiaoxue took out quilts and sheets from the cabinet and started arranging the bedding.
Li Xiaoxue was a stunning beauty, like a fairy from the sky, untouchable. Only now did she seem real, bustling about like a wife for the man she loved.
Wang Dadong sat by the bed, blissfully enjoying this heartwarming moment.
"Done." Li Xiaoxue clapped her hands lightly, saying happily.
Soon, Li Xiaoxue fell asleep, but Wang Dadong didn’t, as he still had to keep an eye out for Gui Jingjing.
The night passed without incident, and Gui Jingjing didn’t show up to cause trouble.
"Wake up, I made breakfast." The next morning, Li Xiaoxue’s lovely voice rang through the room.
Wang Dadong opened his eyes and saw Li Xiaoxue standing at the door in a floral dress, her hair clipped up neatly, looking very homely, a gentle smile on her face, just like a wife waking her husband up in the morning.

The three of them had breakfast together.
