Chapter 2373 - 2366: Astonishing Measures
Now the houses are like this, they started selling before they even started construction, Moonlight Stone is a renowned real estate company throughout Huaxia, so their properties sell very well. When the homeowners learned that the house they bought had cut corners, they were furious one by one.
"President Yong, what should we do? There are more and more people, we can hardly stop them..."
"Even if we can’t stop them, we must stop them!"
Yong Limei was scratching her scalp almost to the point of tearing it.
At this moment, the phone on the desk rang.
"Where is Wang Dadong? Tell him to get his ass out, didn’t he say he could solve it? Why are the homeowners surrounding the sales office?" Ying Mei’s angry voice came through the phone.
Although losing Moonlight Stone Real Estate is not a big deal to her, she has several other properties. If anything happens with Moonlight Stone, it will certainly affect her other real estate ventures.
Ying Mei’s anger is not just because of the loss, but because it was supposed to be a small matter, Wang Dadong also assured he could solve it, yet it ended up in such a state.
"I, I can’t find him either..." Facing Ying Mei’s wrath, Yong Limei could only reply nervously.
He feared this woman more than Wang Dadong.
"Resist unscrupulous developers!"
"Strongly demand the government to step in and protect rights!"
"..."
The homeowners’ voices grew louder, blocking the road outside the sales office, seriously affecting city center traffic.
It took over a hundred police officers to barely restore traffic. The situation almost spiraled out of control.
"Wang Dadong, if you don’t come out, I’ll jump off the building in front of you!" Yong Limei was almost in tears.
"Uncle, where on earth did you go?" Han Shasha kept dialing Wang Dadong’s phone, trying for half a day without success.
For some reason, she was more anxious than Wang Dadong.
Finally, on the tenth attempt, Wang Dadong’s phone connected.
Han Shasha was overjoyed and immediately said, "Uncle, where have you been? Moonlight Stone is almost bursting with people!"
"I’m right behind you." Wang Dadong’s voice sounded very calm over the phone.
Han Shasha turned around and indeed saw Wang Dadong standing right in front of her.
Han Shasha glanced at the protesting homeowners not far away and said softly, "Uncle, I think you should hide quickly, these homeowners have gone crazy. I heard people have started smashing the sales office over there."
Wang Dadong’s expression was very calm, instead of hiding, he headed towards the homeowners.
"Everyone, please calm down."
"Who are you? You tell us to calm down, and we’ll just calm down?"
"Exactly, don’t obstruct our rights protection!"
The homeowners couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to Wang Dadong.
"I’m Wang Dadong, the boss of Dongyan Construction Company, which collaborates with Moonlight Stone Real Estate!"
Wang Dadong shouted with Qi Sinks to the Dantian, and the sound could be clearly heard for thousands of meters.
As soon as Wang Dadong finished shouting, the thousands of people present instantly quieted down.
However, silence lasted only a few seconds, and then the crowd roared again.
"He’s the heartless construction company boss!"
"We spent a lifetime of savings to buy a house, and it turns out to have cut corners, beat him to death!"
"..."
The homeowners were genuinely furious and rushed towards Wang Dadong.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t touch Wang Dadong, unable to advance further when about two or three meters away, as if blocked by an invisible barrier.
Han Shasha looked troubled, "Uncle, you are playing with fire, now let’s see how you’ll handle this!"
"Everyone, please don’t get excited!" Wang Dadong remained calm.
"Why not be excited? Who dares to live in a house built like this?"
"You must give us an explanation!"
"..."
Wang Dadong’s appearance did not calm the homeowners down, but instead made them more excited.
"You want an explanation, I’m giving you one right now. Everybody, please look!" Wang Dadong pointed to the ten buildings already constructed by Moonlight Stone.
Everyone looked in the direction Wang Dadong pointed.
"What, does the developer want to suppress the homeowners by force?"
"Are you stupid? With so many reporters here, I don’t believe they would dare lay hands on ordinary citizens!"
"Now, please step back and keep away from the buildings." Wang Dadong said.
Boom boom boom!
A deafening explosion sounded suddenly.
"Help, they’re killing us!"
"We’re going to be blown to bits!"
"..."
Upon hearing the explosion, the homeowners cried out in a terrifying wail.
But it wasn’t an explosion sound, it was the sound of houses collapsing.
The next moment, ten high-rise buildings of over ten floors suddenly collapsed, filling the air with dust.
In a blink, the whole community was leveled.
Wang Dadong’s phone rang, connecting, and King Kong’s voice came through, "Brother Dong, we’ve demolished the buildings as you instructed, what are your next instructions?"
"Alright, that’s all for now."
Everyone stared wide-eyed, watching Wang Dadong intently, unsure of what was happening.
Wang Dadong gently swept his gaze across the homeowners and reporters, then said in a booming voice, "I believe everyone wants to know what’s going on, I’ll tell you. The rumors you heard are true, the Moonlight Stone buildings indeed cut corners."
At this moment, the whole scene went silent, not a single person made a sound, quietly listening to Wang Dadong speak. The previous scene was just too shocking, the ten soon-to-be-completed buildings disintegrated in an instant.
If not for what just happened, when Wang Dadong said such things, the crazed homeowners would surely pelt him with eggs.
Seeing the scene silent, Wang Dadong continued, "However, this was not done intentionally by Moonlight Stone Real Estate, nor was it done by Dongyan Construction Company for self-interest. Believe everyone can understand, in a big company, there’s always a few bad apples. The culprit in this matter is the overseer from Dongyan Construction Company who didn’t perform as expected."
"But that’s just your side of the story, isn’t it possible you’re just finding someone to take the fall since the scandal was exposed?" A homeowner whispered.
This suspicion is quite reasonable, many big companies do this.
