The plain and unnoticed me is no more
9 · Cosplayer's blood makes a scene
"Lana's clothes are really nice and look good on you. But I don't see anything of similar design in town, and I always wonder. Where can I buy it?
Chiyo is intrigued by the clothes I am wearing. It's only natural that I've never seen it anywhere else.
Because I made this myself.
Since I moved here a month ago, I've found a foot-stamp sewing machine in town, bought an impulse, and sewed a lot of cosplay costumes I used to make from memory.
As I thought, unless it's so exposed, medieval European-inspired designs don't seem particularly uncomfortable in this world, even with games and animated character costumes.
I decided it was okay to live in cosplay costumes, considering that travelers from other countries are also likely to appear in the game.
I decided to create a costume for the tavern lady who would appear in the game that I particularly liked in my previous life and wear it as a trademark for the innkeeper lady general Lana.
She wore a blue leather bodice with accents on the chest and waist, an asymmetric skirt with a long back and short front made of tonal cloth, and long boots in scorched tea on the white blouse on the off-shoulder.
Actually, these clothes are not uncommon in neighboring Alford.
Asymmetric skirts are rare, but they happen to be close to Alford's ethnic costume. Thanks to this, I didn't have to worry about making the evil stand out.
I won't let you say it's plain and discreet anymore. I decided to make the most of this appearance and enjoy my life with my favorite cosplay.
I left the house because I decided to live as someone else from that time on.
I always thought that my grandfather's ideal female statue was old.
My sisters, like me, were raised strictly by a modest and obedient woman, and my daughter-in-law dressed up flashy with that rebellion, and acted as the mansion's mistress so well that she wouldn't tell her aunt if she was there.
It's only natural to support your husband behind his back. My sisters are expanding their connections with their husbands in the social world. The aspirational statue of a lady who is now the goal of young women is a capable woman like my sisters.
When I became Princess Wang, I wanted to be like my sister, but I'm glad I didn't.
I had a bad feeling at that time, but now I want to say thank you for shaking it.
Now, I am creating uniforms for the girls in line with the concept of an inn conceived by the first owner as an inn where the fairies of the forest heal tired travelers, named Fairy Sumitomo Pavilion, and I step on the sewing machine every night after work. A dark green apron dress like a maid's dress would suit the name of the inn.
Chiyo also recently said that dresses are easier to move than kimonos, and she began to wear a dress for children that fits her size. She looked like a 13-year-old girl and began to be stylish.
"Chiyo, I made this. That's why nobody wears the same thing. I'm making a uniform for the girls on the staff right now. I made yours, of course. I think it's still growing up, so I made it bigger, but would you like to try it on?
Chiyo's expression is gorgeous.
My eyes shined on my expectations, and I turned my head without thinking that it was cute. My hair was disturbed and I felt restless, but I took Chiyo to my private room on the ground floor and showed him a Chiyo specific uniform worn by Torso.
"Are you sure I can wear this? The colors are nice, and the apron is so cute!
"Fufu, I'm glad you like it."
Chiyo's things are designed differently from those of other employees.
She works closer to the manager even when she looks like a child, so to show her, she has prepared a dress with a noble color, a tangy engraved under-knee length, with a white, fluffy apron that enhances the cuteness of the chills.
I heard that the long hem dress was a distraction to my work, so I dared to set it to the underside of my knees and pair it with white tights and strapped shoes.
To put it simply, it's a maid's clothes for a maid's coffee.
Put it on quickly and it suited the little chills very well.
"Lana, who are you? I understand the language of the Japanese country, and I can't believe I can cook even such nice clothes. I thought you were a strange person when you ate rice balls and cried, but you were close to the noble lady who went through the procedure at this inn, right? He's a real stranger."
I thought I'd tell Chiyo the truth, but I decided to keep quiet about her traits because she's not lying anyway. When I told her I was a poor Duchess, I didn't feel like I could have the kind of casual conversation I had.
"I can't believe it's someone. I've just been through a lot. The size seems to be OK. I'll make two more of the same. I'm going to finish up in my room today, so can I leave the inn to Chiyo? I left the cafeteria to the chef, Singh, but you can call me if you need anything."
"Yes, I understand. Um, shouldn't you keep wearing this?
How much do you like it? She looks down sadly with her skirt spread out to the side. Chiyo is truly an honest man.
"Sure. Instead, don't get dirty because you haven't changed it yet."
"I did it! I'm going to brag to everybody."
Chiyo left the room in a hurry to skip. Beyond the door, I heard the praise of the other girls who saw Chiyo.
"Yeah, I'll do my best to make it for everyone. Wait a minute."
I've already cut it, so I'll just sew it with a sewing machine. After all, it took me three days to make a replacement for everyone, and if I had prepared several separate aprons, it would have taken me another day.
Instead of a uniform, the chef prepared a ready-made white shirt and black trousers for a week and gave them an apron and a hand-wicking bandana.
The girls who were given uniforms rejoiced a lot, and after changing, their hearts or spine seemed to grow pink.
"Now, from today on, everyone is going to work as a Sumitomo Fairy. It's important that you replace the apron with something clean as soon as it gets dirty. All right? Think about it. Do your work every day with beautiful clothes. The kitchen is now visible to guests, so we don't have to work with cloths that haven't been washed for days."
"I know."
Sin was a cook who worked in a restaurant in the town.
He was nineteen years old, and his arm was certain, but the owner died, and Chiyo brought him where the shop was collapsing and where he was going.
Looks good, but behaves badly, and these girls have a bad reputation. It has improved considerably since I entered, but I don't seem to want to get along with the girls. It does not seem pleasant to him that there is only one man.
That's him, but when I first met him here, I was struck by a strange feeling that I'd seen him somewhere before.
I thought I might have been to the restaurant where he worked, but I don't remember the name of the store.
Besides, the neighborhood he lived in before was out of my reach. No matter what I think, I can't find a connection.
Speaking of which, he said that his family was only his sick brother, but it would be difficult to go back to see him in his spare time after lunch or to take care of him while he worked.
I went to the kitchen and spoke to Singh.
"Sin, if you have any trouble, don't hesitate to tell me."
"No, thank you for picking it up. I need money to take care of my weak brother."
"While you were working here, did your brother leave a message alone?
Sort of. I can't help it. "
Though Sin has given up, it would be worrying to leave his little brother alone at home. With my own little sister, I imagined a weak, bedridden boy who would leave a message alone at home.
"Why don't you bring him with you when you get to work?
"Eh...?
Sin is surprised at my proposal. Sure enough, there are no vacancies in the inn and it's always full.
She asked where she intended to keep her brother.
"Just let me sleep in my room. That way, we can see what's going on between jobs, right?
"Are you sure? I'd appreciate it if you let me... put me in the owner's bed?
"I don't mind. Well, if your brother doesn't mind."
The next morning, Singh came to work carrying his brother.
