The plain and unnoticed me is no more
51 Singh is worried.
Half of the glassy greenhouses were in a state like a botanical garden, with rare flowering exotic trees and even cactus planted near the entrance. Behind it, you can see colorful flowers blooming. Is that the flower for sale?
I got out of the carriage to get into the greenhouse after Sin got off first.
"Lana, it's nice to be blooming in the greenhouse over here, but there are flower fields outside the greenhouse, so you can choose as many as you like. Ah, Gabela was in the greenhouse. My parents tell me that I can take all of this stuff with me because it's raised in a bowl."
When I entered the greenhouse, there was a smell of earth and a sweet, flickering floral scent. Going further, I saw small baked bowls lined up on several shelves and tables, and around the growing flower seedlings, glowing balls were vigorously flying around.
I've never seen a fairy other than Levi before, but there are a lot of fairies flying here. I was consciously observing the surroundings on the way here today, but Levi was right, and I didn't see any fairies in the town.
Is that why I've never seen it before? There were plenty of flowers in our mansion and Evan's place, but I've never seen them before. Does that mean there were no fairies there? Or was it only recently that I saw something related to the mysterious power of the Goddess inside me?
Looks like Singh saw this, too. It says on my face that I've never seen so many fairies before.
"This looks like the owner, doesn't it? The whole town was weak and hard to see, but what the hell are they doing here? You're too cheerful to shine on a freak."
"Were you in town? I didn't see that. But the fairies here can see the light clearly. I've been busy flying around for a while now and my eyes are tingling."
In the dark, it must be as beautiful as illumination.
I came here to buy potted plants with fairies, but none of the kids are happy. Levy said she was resting on the flowers, otherwise she wouldn't be able to bring her home.
Maybe I could buy a big planter and make some garbera plants.
"Ah, that's what I'll do if I tell my parents. If you want to do it yourself, you have to do it from earthmaking, and it's troublesome, right? I have plenty of planters, and if you pick flowers, I'll make them and deliver them."
Really? Well, let me ask you something.
As I was choosing some flowers, the fairies who were supposed to be flying around competed and stuck to my chosen flowers.
"Maybe you'll come and talk to me?
I tried talking secretly to Kevin so he wouldn't notice. Of course the answer didn't come back, but the light flashed several times. I'm sure it means yes.
"Hey, Kevin. Can I take a look outside?
"Oh, let's go. Most of them are sold as cut flowers, but there are potted plants."
After hearing Kevin explain how to raise them, I decided to buy a few potted plants that were outside. In the meantime, the early worker silently completed the garbera planting, which had already been loaded into the wagon.
When I paid the price and brought all the flowers I bought back to the wagon, I heard a nostalgic voice from the second floor of the Mansion.
"Wait, don't go home yet!
Looking up, there was a friend Maria. That being said, she left the window and went somewhere.
"Hey, did you mix some flowers in here that aren't for sale? You must be the lady of this house. It won't be a problem."
"That's not true. Lana chose to sell everything. I've never heard a lady raise her voice so loud before."
After a while, Maria jumped out the back entrance of the Mansion with great momentum, tearful eyes and hugged me. Oh, I can't say this is a mistake. She once showed me her makeup face when she came to visit us.
"Um, calm down, let's go over there. Sin, wait a minute. I'll talk to your daughter for a minute."
"Ah, ah. Okay."
Though Sin was shocked, Kevin was more surprised. You must be surprised because your parent can't read emotions without expressions, but his mouth is slightly open.
I moved around with Maria's shoulders and talked to Maria long enough away from Sin and the others.
Maria, how are you?
"Real Elaine, right? It's not a dream, is it?
Maria glanced at my body to make sure I was safe and breathed out.
I should have sent her a letter after I left the house. I'm sorry I made you so worried.
"Sorry, Maria. I'm supposed to be in a monastery, but I'm actually living in a city well."
Maria glanced at me and somehow saw Singh waiting in the wagon.
"Maybe you ran off with him because you broke your engagement with His Highness? He looks at us all the time, worried about you."
"Yeah? No, no, no, Maria. I work with him. Don't get me wrong. Thin is not like that at all."
Maria said she heard a lot, but she doesn't know where to start. I can't believe I ran off with Singh. Where did that come from?
"Elaine, I just want to know where you live right now."
"It's an inn across the river. I worked as a maid general at the inn before my engagement was abandoned. I live there now. Keep it to yourself."
"No way, you left the house without telling me where you were going?
"Yeah, that's right. I was told to leave the house, and I left the next morning. There was a place to live and a place to work, so there's nothing to be troubled about, and I'm much happier now than I used to be."
Maria nodded with a smile and exhaled a big sigh.
"You've changed. I know Elaine Norris didn't like to dress so flashy, and above all, the atmosphere is completely different. It is very natural, vibrant and looks radiant. That happened, but now you're really happy. I don't want to bother you like that, but Evan Findley is looking for you. And His Highness Frederick. They finally realized that Sandra's confession in the breakdown was all a lie. That's why I wanted to apologize to you. Not now."
I know Evan's looking for me, but to Lord Frederick? Apologizing is really nothing now. If you loved Sandra, no matter what happens, don't you believe her?
"Doesn't Elaine have proper information about the royal family and the Virgin?
"Yes, I hear from customers occasionally, but it may not be the right information."
"His Highness Frederick was not allowed to marry the Virgin and was abolished from the throne of the Crown Prince. And Sandra has now stopped socializing with His Highness and has been given a splendid dwelling on the grounds of the Grand Shrine to live in luxury with donations from the nobles."
As I expected, His Highness Frederick was really stupid. At that time, Sandra went out of her way to tell me that she couldn't do it, but she wasn't tired of being allowed to socialize, and she was seriously trying to get married? You didn't know how many people were expecting the Virgin.
"Thank you, Maria. That was valuable information. Actually, Evan has been to my shop many times. Though I doubt Elaine, as someone else... well... it seems to have been favoring me. I refused, so I haven't shown my face since."
"Oh, what a shameless man! Excuse me, I've been disturbed by a lot of things. Though you didn't even apologize to Elaine, you thought she was a woman like you. Amazing....."
I'd like to talk to her more, but I'm keeping Singh waiting, and I can't do any more.
"Um, I'm sorry, Maria. Keep him waiting, and I'll go. Come to the inn next time, if you like. It's an inn across the river called the Fairy Sumikitei. It would be helpful if you could pretend to be a civilian and disguise yourself as if you didn't know your face. If I knew you were in and out, I'd be more likely to find out I was Elaine."
"Okay. I'm sure I will. Actually, I don't think I should go see him. It's good to see you today. I can't believe you knew my gardener."
"Kevin is a good eater at our restaurant. Bye, Maria."
When she broke up with Maria and went to Sin's waiting carriage, she was very worried to see us talking too long and Maria talking in a mood on the way.
I put my mouth to Kevin's ear to reassure him and explained in a small voice.
"You know, Sin. She is a friend of the young lady's. That's why I was just talking about it."
In my whisper, Sin reacted excessively. Covering his brighter ears with his hands than usual, he retreated to Kevin's seat. I smile nicely and tell them the next destination.
"Fufu, Shin, thank you for worrying me. Okay, shall we go now? Kevin, can you keep the flowers at the inn? And I want you to drop us off at Central Square. Sin, next time I'll take the Tsuji carriage and get out of the city."
