The Principle of a Philosopher by Eternal Fool “Asley”
008 Adventurer Guild
- - Iberial Town, January 7, 1991 at 10: 00 am - -
A week had passed since I left Falltown.
We had arrived in a town called Iberial Town. As we walked north from the east gate of Falltown, we headed out onto the streets (,,,,,) that were not followed by Falltown.
Of course, I was able to confirm it in the wind like a residual road that used to go on, but the weeds were growing and I couldn't confirm it without looking carefully.
After walking straight north on the street, we arrived at this Iberial Town.
We were finishing our meals at a balcony table outside the store.
Porch sits and waits under the balcony.
"Again... no one knew about Falltown."
Talk like Lina looks spicy.
"Whoever you ask, there was a town up until about ten years ago... Is this maybe an information blockade?
"Oh, my God, maybe I can't use this letter of recommendation."
"That's a problem, indeed."
"Oh, no... it's too harsh..."
Although this has been suggested from the beginning, some measures are contemplated.
"Even in a different way, I might have to look into the country, above the University of Magic."
"But how about the letter of recommendation? A magic college student from a town that doesn't have one is going to have some problems, right?
"I'm sorry to waste Mr. Ryan's favor, but it would still be a good idea to enroll here by another means"
Porch and Lina face to face.
"Um, what can I do about that?
"Yes, no matter how dastardly, cowardly and foolish the master was, isn't that hard? We don't have much time."
Fools are superfluous. I guess my title won't change because this guy always says this.
But I'd say it's really stupid to pinch your mouth here.
No, but it's also a matter of being perceived as a late fool who doesn't pinch his mouth.
No, no, no, no...
"Mr. Azley, what are you thinking?
"It's bullshit anyway."
"- That means... this is it! No, no, no, Porch, I'm a fool!
"No, Master, that's a pretty slow reaction. That's why they call me a fool."
"Hey, was it a failure... that, speaking of what were you talking about?
Porch sighs and looks at this one with a shuddering mixed face.
"Damn, it's a letter of recommendation, a letter of recommendation. If you can't get into the University of Magic, the Master is pathetic, Mr. Lina, anyway."
"Uh, yeah, he was. He was. Both me and Lina have risen quite a bit in the last two years. That's why you think you should be in the Adventurer Guild, huh?
Porch tilts his neck.
"So you wouldn't have time for that, would you?
"The sign of the Adventurer Alliance contract is written by the head of that Alliance town. And then... you know what I mean?
"Oh, is that what happened?"
"Um... what the hell is going on?
Me and Porch laughed and answered, and Lina was trying to catch up with our thoughts with a puzzled look.
◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆
When I came to the Iberial Town Adventurers Guild with both of us, I was surprised at the unexpected difference from the old days.
Even so, the slightest difference is that the user demon was allowed to enter. Of course, we're talking about ordinary animals not being allowed in, but if they're animals serving as demons of use, they're fine.
Anything like that, because the world recognized that the number of magicians was smaller than it used to be, and that the demon's intelligence was better than that of humans?
"No, you surprised me. I was surprised I could get in, too. Let's just keep being adventurers, okay?
"Hehe, they can't register for boulders, can they?
"That's too bad."
A guild is a generic name for an organization, a place, that requests and mediates work, and wraps it up.
The charge to the Alliance is determined by rank, and with that fixed amount, the Alliance accepts it as a job and introduces it to a suitably ranked adventurer.
Take money from adventurers, of course. That's two things: the fact that you're offering 10% of your work success reward in advance, and the annual registration fee to the Adventurer Alliance.
Its exterior is diverse, and there are simple liquor-style buildings, like this Iberial Town guild, from a large stuffed building.
"Heh, you're unusual with a magician. Besides, I'm surprised it's new. Write your name on the registration form on that table over there and bring it over here."
A man, supposedly the guild's receptionist, leads me through by pointing to the stationery next to the counter.
A few guild registration forms were placed on the ledge, and the signature of the mayor of this town did exist among the forms.
"Um, it does say, what are you going to do with this?
Lina asks questions in a whisper.
"Wait a minute. Ho ho ho...... copy & light"
Draw a small magic formation on the ledge, and the mayor's name peels off two sheets from the side and rises. That overrides the part of Ryan's name in the letter of recommendation that Lina opened.
"Shh, wow... this is happening..."
"Then... ho, letter edit"
The name of the town in the letter of recommendation The letter Falltown moves twistedly to dance on paper, turning it into the letter "Iberial Town".
"Is this... is it going to be magic?
"Well, if you were a magic college graduate, you'd be able to use it. Mine adds a little special formula, though."
"Special......?
"I can tell you that I've worked on this magic as it should be... oh, let's write it first"
I was concerned about the receptionist's gaze and finished filling out the registration form first. Take it to the receptionist.
"Uh, you're Mr. Azley to Lina. Let me explain to you about the Adventurer Guild, but is time all right?
"Yeah, please"
Porch draws the attention of the adventurers he's been drinking since daylight, but it's about him, he'll do well.
"First of all, your level is clear if you put your hands on the magic team there. You should try it later. Apart from that level, there is a rank in the Alliance, which changes the job you can undertake for each rank. Yeah, of course, people in the top ranks can work in the bottom ranks. You guys are Beginners, so the rank is" F "and the best is" S "... Well, I'm talking about the Six Mages, the Six Brave Warriors, and all you have to do is count. Look at the bulletin board there for the rank job. Because if you have a job you want to take, you can peel it off and hold it. That concludes the explanation"
"Thank you"
"Uh, did you find that out in your current explanation?
"If you don't know, you just have to ask again. Let's just get used to it. In spirit, let's do one first."
Lina with a puzzling look.
You noticed this separation, and Porch is coming this way.
The three of us see a bulletin board with rank F jobs on it.
"Uh... that? Is Rank F's job so easy?
"Well, you've noticed. Because even goblins are rare in that (,) town. Maybe you'll never see a slime or a killer bee again.
Monsters near that town had a lot of monsters with rank around C.
Zombie Road, Marine Lizard is C. Cyclops and killer mantis who were in that meadow also c. Besides Kimyra, the Rank B monster has been able to confirm the existence of zombie kings in the past two years. It was rarer to see monsters with lower ranks.
If you say you fought in it, was that Alpha Kimyra the strongest... such a monster, like defeating a party of 60-70 Levels. Without Porch, without the magic and magic I've studied over the years, there has to be some kind of dynamite artifact... and I'm still here, too.
At least after... two or three thousand years... eh.
"Master, aren't you thinking about something weird again?
"That's pretty sharp, Fur, huh?
"Heh, if I die, you should definitely wrap it around that neck!
No, you're getting angry. This is it.
"Heh... looks like I could do this too, right?
Lina peels off a single request and shows it to me.
"What... Three Ghoul Crusades, I don't think so, but why Ghoul? I think slime and goblins are easier to beat...?
"I've heard that Ghoul's behavior resembles zombies... well, if he's a zombie, he's used to fighting, so..."
Lina explains to me in embarrassment.
Not surprisingly, you still seem to be thinking. If you have time, you want to fight a wide variety of monsters, but with time saved, you fight a new race... smart and spinning fast. I may not be able to think about this at the age of fifteen.
"Yeah, wouldn't that be nice?
"Yes, I think so, don't you?
"Well then I guess I'll get rid of it too... even the goblins. The monsters around here are calm, but Porch sticks with Lina. We're staying here today, so we'll meet at the town inn when we're done."
"" Yes!
Me and the two broke up there once, Lina and Pochi headed east to defeat Ghoul, and I headed north to defeat Goblin.
