The Prodigy Sefiria’s Overpowering Program

1 year 9 months 2 - - Brother and Hey (Part I)

A certain holiday.

Being transformed into the look of a high school student or so, I unwittingly break my expression to the small warmth I feel on my left hand.

Next to me was Mercia-kun, a little boy in elementary school or so, with fluffy silver hair and blue eyes. And on the other side of the line is also his brother and blonde, Mr. Bozler.

Mercia, who is holding my left hand and Mr. Bozler's right hand respectively, is in a very good mood.

Mercia, with a fuzzy grin, pulled my hand really pleasantly.

"Doctor! Where are you going next?

"Hmm, it's time for lunch, and you want some dinner?

"Ugh!

I said, "Okay?," Mr. Bozler nodded with a smile on his face.

Then Mercia-kun pulled our hand, and we step into a nearby restaurant.

That was an unexpectedly expensive atmosphere restaurant with no dress code.

It's me, assuming I'm noble and I have money, but I've never been into many of these stores if you treat me to Kayliss....... so you get a little carried away.

But Mercia, who seems to be fully in love with Mr. Bozler, whose use of money only spoils his brother, crossed the shop's layout without looking particularly nervous.

Similarly, Mr. Bozzler treats the waiter who welcomed him with dignity. Apparently it's a regular in this store, and although we didn't specify anything in particular, we were put through to a private room in the back.

The seating is a rectangular table with two chairs on the long side.

When I saw Mr. Bozzler seated in the chair on his left hand side from the entrance, and I got to the seat on his right hand side, opposite him... Mercia-kun, who saw it, sat next to me without hesitation.

... What, why? Isn't that next to Mr. Bozzler? Look, Mercia, you're staring at me with such great eyes, aren't you? It's a hole. It's just a gaze, isn't it?

I try to avoid Mr. Bozler's gaze and open the menu table, but I immediately recall the fact that I cannot read the letters.... I usually teach Kayliss to read and write letters sometimes, but I'm often not sure if I can read the culinary names of these stores in the first place.

I had no choice but to ask Mercia to cook for me so that I could see the menu chart as well, leaning my body from chair to chair, so that I could split it it between multiple people.

I don't know what to say instead, but I'll split the dishes I've been transported into small plates and hand them out to Mr. Bozler and Mercia.

Then Mercia, who rounded her eyes, stared very happily at the plate placed in front of her.

"Thank you, Mother!

With a full smile, he dropped me a bomb.

………………

………………

Piscilli solidifies and shuts up, me and Mr. Bozzler.

Mercia, who tilted her neck at our reaction like that, was a little late and then said, "Ah!," he raised his voice, dying his face bright red in an instant.

As far as I'm concerned, I was so glad that you were forgiving me for making such a mistake.

Mercia-kun let me bow my face down like a boiled octopus and shut up. Having thought about following him somehow like that, I gently reached for Mercia-kun's fluffy hair.

"Ah..."

"You're welcome, Mercia."

Mercia smiles with a fuzzy grin at me as I stroke his head.... This creature is really too cute to suck. I don't think it's the same life form I am.

By this exchange the atmosphere on this occasion again seems to have returned to a soft one.

But only Mr. Bozler still lay his eyes down with a sinking face.

... previously only leaked chills when Mr. Bozzler was in the hospital, their home environment.

Mr Bozler said. "Mercia is my only family now," he said.

If you take that word as it is, that means that Mr. Bozler and his mother, who gave birth to Mercia, are not there now either.

... I don't know the details because I think it's a topic I shouldn't go into too deeply and it went through like nothing at that time.

Mercia, who noticed Mr. Bozler's unfloating expression, raised her voice as if she remembered him there.

"Speaking of which, brother! You didn't thank the teacher, did you?!?

"Ah? What thanks?

"About the Night Beast Bandits! That's what bothered me so much, Doctor!

Trouble? The Night Beast Bandits are about those mobs who once attacked my village and got me back, aren't they?

So how can I be thankful?

As I perplexed and watched them interact, Mr. Bozler panicked a little, "Oh, hey, Mercia!," I roughed up my voice.

But where does that brother react? Mercia, like the wind that blows, inflates her cheeks a little and then says it with a resolute look.

"If your brother's not going to say it, I will! That's good, brother!

"Gu, no, but..."

Still, it was Mr. Bozzler, who roared badly during his predecessor's life, but Mercia-kun apparently gave up dealing with such a brother's grit, and turned to me lightly.

"About a year ago, my teacher made me groan the Night Beast Bandits, didn't he?

"Oh, yeah"

"The Night Beast Bandits were doing bad things in a lot of places. They steal things from little villages and stuff, and then they kill everybody."

"... yeah"

In fact, he shouldn't have just killed him, he should have tormented and degraded the woman in half of the play....... I wouldn't bother to supplement you like that with a young Mercia.

I gently hid my trembling fingers under the table, remembering that night.

And just a moment apart, Mercia takes a small, deep breath, and then with a low, quiet voice, she mouths that fact.

"... well, our hometown was also set up by the Night Beast Bandits."

"What!?

I was surprised at how shocking the confession was, and I accidentally shouted out loud.

No, but, you know... from the way things have been going, that's the thing...

Oh, well, I mean, Mercia, you don't have Mr. Bozzler's family...

"I was so tiny then, so I don't really remember. The only thing that helped that day was me and your brother. I can still do this thanks to your brother running away with a tiny little me."

I said that and laughed somewhere lonely at Mercia, and I heard Mr. Bozzler squeaking in a small voice as he leaned down and said, "... no, that's not it..."

But I hear that voice didn't reach your ear. Mercia turned to me again,

"Thanks to our teacher for bringing us the Beast Bandits at night, we were saved... so thank you very much!

I wonder what words I have returned to Mercia, who bowed her head with a pepper.

They were fighting a lot of people's hatred where they didn't intend to, but they don't really feel it. In this state, I got lost wondering if I could accept his pure gratitude.

... but I'm guessing you're not thanking me for that rational idea. I'm sure Mercia just put the overflowing feeling straight into the words.

So without thinking deeply either, I said, "Yeah. I'm glad I helped you, Mercia," I responded to that gratitude by smiling.

And Mercia lowered her brow butt a little sorry,

"My brother always wanted me to catch the Night Beast Bandits. So I signed up for a game with the teacher who defeated the Night Beast Bandits before me..."

"Oh, so..."

"Yeah. So, Doctor, don't worry about knocking your brother out in the game before you? That was your brother's eight wins."

Mr. Bozler, who Mercia-kun is telling me to borrow shit, was carrying the dish to his mouth like a muzzle, with a sinister face. Ma, well, if they talk like this in front of me, it's meshimaz, right?

I then went on to offer the brightest possible topic to get rid of the air that got wet.

I mean, by the time the meal was over, the tension between the two seemed to have recovered to some extent.

Because today's outing is a “reward” for Mercia, I want you to enjoy it as much as you want today.
