The Queen’s Cosmetician

Chapter 5: Complex Servants 4

Finish your little tea party with Alvina and return to the Mizweeri family. Reporting to the samurai head that she had returned home, Die found Titianna on her way back to her room.

"Titi"

"Oh, welcome home."

Titianna, who was polishing the floor of the entrance hall, gets up and welcomes the die. Hold the round coat aside, Die rushed over to her.

"What's wrong with you? I can't believe I polished this one at this hour."

In the blue sky, only the remnants of the sun's orange muscles remain, which will soon scratch off as well. I don't polish the hall at this time. Mostly in the early morning.

"I just got a little re-polishing order. They had footprints on them, didn't they? Here we go."

"Shall I help?

"Really? Enough for today?

"Yeah, they gave me some free time"

I laugh bitterly in retrospect of the eyes of the samurai-head, who has implicitly told me uselessly to myself that I am unchanged from mariage. Titianna narrowed her mouth for a moment to a sympathetic look, but immediately repainted her expression with a bright smile, pointing to the vane (or so) and the rag floating in it.

"Then please.... Oh, should I have left my stuff first?

Find a rounded coat next to this one that takes a rag from the inside of the bathroom, Titianna asks.

"No, it's okay."

"But it's a product you've taken, isn't it?

"Yes, and a souvenir."

"Souvenirs?

"Yep. To Titi."

"... to me?

Titianna, who was crawling on all fours and polishing the floor, stops moving perfectly and raises her face. Die explained the situation to her, who looked surprised.

"Someone I know invited me over for a little tea, but the sweets there were delicious, so I got a little extra wrapped up. I'm always looking out for you."

Eat later, add. Titianna blushed her cheeks in the light as she was listening to these words.

"You didn't have to worry about it"

"It's all I have left."

Besides, I didn't pay for it.

"It's okay. Still."

I laugh when I tickle, and Titianna flicks.

"Thanks."

I was relieved that I was pleased, and Die dropped her gaze on hand. Squeeze the rag tightly.

Unexpectedly, Titianna stood up over the hem of her garment. Follow her with your eyes as to what the hell is going on. She was gently lifting the die's coat and the luggage wrapped in it, moving it to the corner of the hall, to an undisturbed position.

"It would be tough to kick your ass."

Titianna laughs at her hands as she returns to her original position and leaves a rag on the floor. Die smiled back and resumed cleaning.

"Were you able to take a slow breath in the city today?

"Yes, thanks to you"

Chatting with Alvina was a fun thing. I also thought when I was taken care of at home, she is good at making people enjoy and sweeten. It reminded the geishas of the flower streets and lightened the hearts of the die. The fact that you don't have to hide about your body is one of the reasons why you got rid of the tension.

Now that I'm out of the flower district, I don't even have to hide about my body, but I don't feel like publishing myself. Not Alvina's word, but cheap sympathy, pity, and contempt for imperfections are flat.

"It wasn't that long ago that I had tea, but what came out was delicious, and I haven't had a lot to chat about in a while"

"Have you been talking about all the stupidity over here?

Die accidentally threw a frightened gaze at Titianna, who asked with her eyes gleaming like a prank.

"Titi......"

"'Cause it's hard to say bad things about Mr. Huntingdon, no matter how much it costs me, right?

"No, it's not hard to say, it's not stupid, it's nothing to say."

Laura and the ancient ginseng's position is well understood. Even just making mariage even more difficult to handle would be a headache. With the house even more financially inclined, it must be frustrating to hire a useless makeup artist to leave it. Even if you don't have a home situation, it doesn't matter if there is a negligible person who works beside them and spends time on the same paycheck.

"There it is!

I woke up physically and Titianna raised her voice.

"You know, Die, to everyone's attitude, you can just be angry or irritated! I'm clearly angry with everyone."

"Why is Titi angry?

"'Cause you don't? Die didn't just say what we didn't say to Master Mariage because we were in trouble, instead. I felt so good then."

It was when Die revealed the inside of the house to Mariaj.

"I applauded you in my heart. Besides, it's not Maria's fault, it's not Die's fault that Maria wanders around or is awkward. The truth is, it's chores like this."

And, say, Titianna points to the freshly polished floor.

"You don't have to die! Because they called me as someone to make up!?

She shouted with momentum, and when she aligned the focus of those eyes with the rag held in Die's hand, she held her breath much longer whether she had returned to me.

"... I'm getting help, I'm getting help..."

Something's wrong with Titianna excusing herself with a toad. When the die erupted, she took on a serious look as she panicked.

"... and even if you've been kept away from Mariage so far, you're studying how to do it properly, aren't you? I'm doing it, so the die can be grand, and you can be angry."

You spit out what you want to say and it's refreshing, Titianna just goes back to cleaning. She shifted direction and turned her back on the die as she polished the floor.

"Titi"

The call only returns the groan that you're busy.

Keep crawling on all fours and circle to the front of Titianna. Her tinted eyes, which admitted this appearance, flashed in surprise.

"What's wrong?

Peeping into Titianna's face, Die smiled.

"Thank you"

-... not unhappy, I don't think.

Die always thinks. I think my raw is badly distorted. With that, the situation was always unsettling. But at all times, someone has reached out to Die, and I don't think he's ever been lonely since he left the flower district. This is how someone thinks of themselves. I would appreciate it.

"... Titi?

Titianna, whose eyes were so open that there was no more, dropped her shoulders on the call of the die and laid her hands on the spot.

"Huh!? Titi, what's wrong!?

"Yes, it's okay."

With her eyes off the die, she groans.

"Hey, Die, will you just go away for a second?

"Duh, why not?

"I didn't know... your face is destructive when you laugh"

"... what?

Fine, he pushes me on the shoulder and pulls me back off the spot. Returning to the place he was polishing earlier, Die looked at Titianna. She looks up at the ceiling, and she's devising something.

"Are you all right?

"It's okay, it's okay."

Titianna, looking back, was her usual.

"Oh, I'm surprised"

"What are you so surprised about? I don't know why."

"It's okay. I don't know."

Die frowns at her even trying to stroke her chest down, really surprised. Really, I wonder what surprised me.

But it seems Titianna is not going to answer this question. Imitating her as she began to move her hands along the floor, Die also resumed cleaning.

After wiping the water, wipe off some water with a dry cloth. Even though the die was already half done when he started helping, its size is in the hands of both of us. At first, two samurai said they were helping Titianna, but they haven't come back since she was called to help with a separate case.

The work continued silently and finally came to an end when the lights were almost out as well.

"Oh, and I feel like I'm just wiping and cleaning today. Ever since lunch."

Titianna threw a useless rag into her toilet, stretching her spine and blurring.

"Since lunch?

"That's right. It's a staircase railing. Upstairs and third floor window frames, right? Except for the welcome when Master Mariage got back, something was polished all the time."

Abominably glaring at the lavatory filled with dirty water, she lets her tired exhale fall toward its surface.

"And again and again, we have to go back and forth to the well to get water."

"It's a hassle, right? Go get some water every time."

I have helped this hand with chores many times, not just this time. I knew exactly what she said about the annoying smell.

"It's true. I wonder why the well is only on the ground floor."

"I don't really know how the well works, but can't I pump up water upstairs or something?"

"I don't know much about it either. Truth is, I think it would be a lot easier if there was at least a place upstairs where I could draw water directly."

"Right."

Die agreed. Myself, it is easy to go back and forth from the upper floor to the well. For a small, powerless self, just carrying water is a big job.

Essentially, the water used for food and drink is stored in a water bottle that is pumped out of a well on the ground floor in the morning and subjected to "filtration" and "retention" magic. However, since there are limits to the amount of water stored, the water used for cleaning, etc., had to be pumped up on the ground floor each time. It is also relevant that places such as baths and kitchens where large quantities of water are used are created on the ground floor.

"I don't know what to do with the decorative tap."

Titianna squeaks. By "decorative water supply," she means a water pipe strewn over a mansion. The outlet faucet is installed all over the mansion, including the servant's private room.

"You didn't have anyone to adjust."

Reflecting on the decorative and sticking faucet on the wall of his room, Die said. A trick to water by magic. It stopped working because there was no longer a human being to adjust the embedded procedure. Die himself, it's not once or twice what I thought would be convenient if that thing moved.

"Yes, yes."

Titianna nodded as she poked one knee to the floor to lift the vanity.

"It's not just our house. Every house is similar or stopping by. When I was about to die, there were a lot more magicians, and Maisemble sent someone to adjust."

Titianna spares a country that was once the champion of the western continent, wondering why it was doomed. It perished before the die came to mind, the magic giant Maisemble. Many whisper that witchcraft has declined visibly and that the number of magicians has fallen dramatically because the country has perished but is late.

If you try to die, the truth is that the existence of Maisemble can only seem to be a country in an already distant old story. But I was certainly curious as to how it had perished.

(for adjustment, a magician...)

So, uh, I thought.

"... Alvina..."

"What?"

Titianna looks back as she leaves her hands on the vanity. In the wake of her suspicious glance, Die grinned bitterly.

"No. Um, I know someone I had tea with today who's a magician."

Titianna's pale eyes open up intriguing.

"Die, do you know a magician?

"Yep. So, fine, he's a good man. I've stayed at her house before, and I was rewriting the bathroom ceremony at home myself."

Die scratched and explained to Titianna how he had witnessed it at Alvina's house. Magic to regulate the amount of water and water temperature incorporated into the bathroom. Her fingertips rewriting that in an instant.

"I thought she might be able to adjust the water supply..."

"That's it!!

"What?"

Both hands of Titianna, who sparkled her eyes, suddenly grabbed Die's shoulder. Gu, feeling pressure on her as she stuffed her face, Die turned her torso.

"Uh, hey, what is it?

"So introduce the magician! In this house!

"Huh? Why...?

"So even now, Die, you said it yourself! The guy, the water magic, he's going to be able to adjust!? I want you to introduce him to this house and get him to adjust the procedure!

"Yeah!?

Die groaned as he was shaken by the impetus his neck gave him.

"Hey, Titi, Ma. As such, what does that mean?!?

"'Cause everyone, and of course Mr. Huntingdon, was supposed to wish we had a tap through. Because it makes my job more efficient. There are lots of other things I want you to adjust to. For example, the" retention "magic of your mansion? Keeping a well-armed magician under control is supposed to be an amazing gain for this House, so if Die introduced us, we'd all have to be a little more soft on Die!

Titianna theorizes forcefully with her hand grabbing Die's shoulder. Her words make sense, but will they work out so well? First of all, I don't know if Alvina will get that kind of adjustment - and as far as what's going on at home, it seems like she can - but it's not necessarily something she'll take on. A good magician says it's a lot of money, but it's enough to set up a house in a wilderness that avoids people on purpose.

Besides, there's no way a die individual can move on his own with every one of these things. There will also be recognition of Heath, who works as our principal agent.

I thought about all those things - ….

"Let's go, Die. Talk to Master Livot... NOW!!

Titianna awesomely looked so serious she felt the cold sweat slipping down her back, Die was unwittingly shaking her neck vertically.
