The Queen’s Cosmetician

Chapter Five: Running Intelligence 2

Dadan and Bevel were involved in the founding of Doppelgum in the past.

I traveled with the girl who would later reign as queen, and her companions. Fabian and I were on that journey together.

After a paragraph, many, including Fabian, served the Queen intact. Bevel and his wife have settled in Perfilia, and one more, who was one of them, is going down to Zemnam in the south.

Only Dadan returned to wandering life.

Since then, it's been seven years.

"Right..."

Dadan loosened his mouth in antiquity after finishing hearing about the recent developments from Fabian.

"Hey, you guys are doing great."

"The old master is alive and well, too. I'm pinching."

"Sora, above all."

The current situation in Doppelgum was under investigation when we set foot on the western continent over the matter of Kite. It's a pleasure to know that a former companion is splendidly defending his country. There is another different joy to hear directly from one of them in this way.

"Dadan... where and what have you been doing?

Fabian's tone is somewhere toothless.

Dadan replied in surprise at that.

"That's a lot of stuff."

"A lot?"

"Ah...... I was walking around investigating everywhere at the request of the association. Fresco region, Gulf region, Disra, Shreddingrad, Irvsawwill, Lopnor...... you've turned quite a bit to the north. I also took a trip to the south, but my ahakarf was in danger and I couldn't stay long. To the east, go in from Majaenna, stick it out and go all the way to Blue Cricca..."

"I mean, he said he's been circling the world"

Fabian abstracts are often not a mistake.

"There's something close to it."

Looking back, I've been traveling a lot these past seven years.

"I've been to the West Continent a few times."

As a matter of fact, Dadan revealed.

It was only in recent years that the operation of the non-resupply vessel resumed, but it was not difficult to come across here, as long as there were handouts before that.

"I was a little over a year ago... but at that time I was at work and I didn't have to leave right away"

To send kite and arishuel to the eastern continent.

"Are you in the west from now on?

"I'm going to."

Dadan laughed and agreed. There are no plans to leave the Western Continent, at least for the time being.

Fabian rode himself out in delight.

"Then definitely, stop by our house!

"To Doppelgum."

"Where else is there?

Fabian looked stunned at Dadan's response. All I'm saying is it would be natural.

"We were all worried. Is Dadan safe? I wonder if you didn't get involved..."

"Didn't you get involved?

"That's right! Because... ah"

He noticed the silence. Fabian becomes tannic. Dadan unwittingly laughed bitterly at him as he could swim his gaze at him first.

I finally figured out what Fabian wanted to say.

"Sorry about that. I don't need to hear from you."

"... not at all."

Fabian pulled out his shoulder strength. Reflect, he groans.

"When we found out that the country towards Dadan collapsed in civil strife shortly afterwards, we all didn't care. I know it was tough. But... I wanted to say that you were safe."

"I'm sorry"

Dadan honestly apologized. I didn't realize I was worried. It didn't bother me.

Seven years ago, Dadan left Doppelgum for his homeland.

It was a land that hadn't set foot in a long time. It was land I had refused to return to.

When Dadan finally returned, the country was erasing its name from the map.

We failed the coup d 'état and broke it down.

"Is your family... safe?

"No. I don't know. I don't know anything anymore."

Involved in the revolution, a large number of the people lost their lives. Those who remained were also separated. I hear that many have travelled to other countries.

Fabian becomes a sad face.

Don't worry about it.

Dadan smiled at him.

"There are fifty thousand lonely people in this world. You were one of them, right?

The constant land of skirmishes is unusual or irrelevant. The world is filled with famine and chaos. When it comes to ratios, what is not an orphan is more rare.

"... I do think Dadan is right"

Fabian moaned like a sigh.

"Solo people are rotten enough. But, Dadan. Everyone is sad if they lose their family, and there is another pain in losing their country.... don't you think?

I guess Fabian has Dadan over himself in the past. He was also a person who lost his parents again and lost his country.

"I had no attachment to my family or my country."

Dadan whispered as he exhaled.

"Besides, I like my life right now. Setting your back in one place doesn't suit my sexuality. I'm having fun. Don't look like that."

When Fabian gives me a damp face, it ruins the joy of reunion.

A slight poke at Fabian's head whispering his mouth still with a dark face. Dadan laughed at him complaining.

"So I'm telling you, I'm sorry about your stinking face. Are you okay with it getting on your face more or less that soon? That's a pretty good place in the country, isn't it? And you, can we just relax in here? Aren't you a guest of the royal castle?

All those involved in the founding of Doppelgham hold some key positions. As far as listening, Fabian is no exception.

How much face to the Ottomans, though, can I just wander around the lower town?

"If you were invited to the castle, you wouldn't be here."

Fabian rubbed his head and responded with his face.

"It's just sightseeing."

I see, Dadan nodded.

"You mean to take a closer look at the famous Serenesty Queen's lap?"

It can't be literal tourism. It would be an inspection of political implications.

Next door to Doppelgum is Clan Hive in truce with Perfilia. They say there are frequent skirmishes near the borders of those two countries. Doppelgum can't be unbridled if it's a full-fledged war. As a senior official in that country, we should want to hold off on Perfilia's dynamics.

"What do you think of Perfilia now?

Fabian sees Dadan inquiring as he explores with his mouth on a tea bowl.

"Is that as a country? Or is that what you see in my eyes?

"Look in your eyes"

Dadan just wanted to know what it was like to visit this country - or this city.

"… it's interesting to say that it's a country."

That won't be something you can talk about cheaply. Because I am now an outsider to Fabian.

Fabian smiled all the time, putting the gazelle on the table.

"Eagles grinding their nails"

He praised Perfilia according to the raptor to be inscribed in its national chapter.

"I came to this city to be sure. The queen didn't pull back very hard. He said he was just after the chance to mow his prey with tiger sight.... wealth from other continents is enormous. The merchants here have good feathers. You will be lubricating the funds necessary for war."

The first thing Serenesti, who reigned, did in rebuilding the country was promote the shipping industry.

When Maisemble was in power, the port of Perfilia was not that big. At best, it was to the extent that sailboats operating around the outer perimeter of the continent entered and exited.

Serenesti not only developed the port as soon as possible, but also extended it to accommodate non-resupply vessels. Its ships operating between continents bring various things to Perfilia. Supplies, of course, and tariffs should have been a major financial resource for reconstruction costs.

Now that the stability of the country has been achieved, surplus wealth can be a war expense.

"Apparently, a lot of technicians are inviting you."

"Technician?

"Of the shipbuilding industry. … it's not strange to train technicians, but it's a threat because there's a bay port here that also accepts unsupply ships."

If we can build ships that can circle the continent, it is easy to march to countries that do not share borders. Even if you don't build a ship, the wisdom to do so can be converted into various things such as forts and large tanks.

"I really thought you were in a lot more hurry. Perfilia feels like she's pulling out one of her heads, but she hasn't held down any of the treasures."

"Shampoo?... What the hell?

"It is said to be a treasure to be the ruler of the continent. It's in the Holy Word of the Virgin Cynthia. Didn't you know?

"No."

Dadan shook his head in denial. I am never familiar with the Virgin Faith.

Using Dadan's reaction as expected, Fabian complains about the matter.

"" If you want hegemony, put all three together. ""

One, the beast that sleeps in the shadows of Maboba.

One, a forest that trembles with demons.

One, the generation of the genealogy of God.

The beast holds its tail. The forest is pierced with silver columns. The shapes shall be crowned, and no other beast shall be slaughtered.

If you do, you will not descend into the land of red, the blessing of the goddess.

"Holy words or prophecies."

"I think so too."

Dadan grinned at the agreeing and nodding youth.

"... is he glad you told me?

"Of course it is. As much as I thought I'd heard of Dadan. It's not commonly known, but if it's somewhat large enough to worship Cynthia, it's easy to hear."

He doesn't know it in rural priests because it's a matter that has nothing to do with life.

"... Anyway, the Sacred Word is a complaint I care about if you're a king of a country looking to be a“ champion ”. Whatever the credibility."

Only those who have had the opportunity to touch the struggle for power will talk about it.

I rebelled at that in my chest, and Dadan shrugged.

"The beast... you mean the continent"

There are four continents in the world. All of which form the shape of an indescribable organism. They called the continent “the beast." It's just an old rhetoric I hear.

"The beast will remain on the western continent. Tail, which supposedly means southern land, It's just Zemnam territory."

The country is growing in strength in the south. It's a country that often goes up in people's mouths alongside Perfilia.

"The sacramental way of putting it, you can take it that way, one of the conditions is to keep the land south of it.... you're the forest."

"Yep. I don't really know what a silver pillar is."

"The last, generating the genealogy of God is called... what?

"I know you mean public house blood...... you're not sure exactly. In every country, the aristocracy would have that blood in it, hey."

Maisemble's blood is so pervasive that it is not necessary to dare mention it this way.

"Anyway."

Fabian goes to sum up the story.

"Apart from the last one, the tail of the beast and the forest are far from Perfilia. If you're after the cauldron of the Devil's Principality, Serenesty thought you'd want to get them soon. Several years have passed since she entered into a truce with the clan. It's an honest feeling that you're after a chance to march slowly."

Well, Dadan withheld the conversation.

"You said you were in a hurry earlier or something, but if you're going for hegemony, do you have to hurry?

Hurry to the detriment of things. Even more so if it's war. What's wrong with waiting for a period?

"Uh, that's..."

Fabian's commentary was cut off by the sound of a knock on the door.

"Dadan."

Open the door and Bevel will show her face. He instructed Dadan to go up to the third floor and disappeared with his jaw.

"I'm sorry, I'm just gonna take it off"

Dadan took a seat by putting a no on the bewildering-faced Fabian. Hurry after Bevel without waiting for his reply.

"You got your point."

Dadan closes the door to the room. No, Bevel said.

"I hear Del Ligueiria's line is caged in a hotel."

"Since when?

"They say it's been around since last night. I didn't know the details, but I'm pretty sure it's a reason not to calm down."

Dadan reckoned as he listened to Bevel's words.

About five days' worth of food was brought to the Royal Perfilia Castle for guests, he said. That said, not all of it was brought into the hotel. Sometimes there can be nothing at all in the hall. Cage castles are bad and two days - not something that the never hungry will hold for so long without water and food - well, it would be about three days.

"... how to get in touch with the inside?

"No."

Bevel responded instantly.

"There is no way to explore the hotel, and it goes without saying that it will be a way to get in touch."

"Is there anything you can do about it?

"All I can do is leak a story at best. Nothing more."

"-... I get in, how?

Bevel glanced slightly. I just don't believe it. I see Dadan. The twitchy colour that floats in his eyes gradually darkens.

Slightly hey. Bevel dropped her shoulder with her sigh.

"You said yourself you ate the front door. Even officials who can get in and out on a daily basis are locked out. I can't let any of you in right now."

"You don't? How to sneak in."

"Dadan. Why did you do that for Del Ligheria? I don't know how much the queen paid you. But money is for life."

It's true.

Dadan thought. Bevel's advice is perfectly correct.

Dadan himself thinks. There's nothing more I can do. Back off. You just need to know what happens after that from an outside standpoint.

But his mouth was moving against his will.

"Find out how to sneak in"

Silence falls.

Bevel's eyes were more eloquent than his mouth. It turns flashy, surprised, and seeps into anxiety.

After he showed the patrol, he rested his shoulders and opened his mouth.

"There's a man who brings us a story about whether to work in a tavern or not"

He put his arms together and left his hips on the edge of the long desk, an unfamiliar face man, he added.

"The man has a map. Old map. Sounds like a blueprint when building this king's capital. … to follow the path described there and ascertain the differences from the current situation. That's what the job is about."

"And the path and the dots continue to the royal castle."

"Yes."

Bevel, who answered with few words, largely took the cigar out of his nostalgia. But he keeps squirming with his fingers without sucking it out.

Dadan asked.

"The guy who asked for the job... was there before?

"There he is."

Bevel continued between them.

"I was working down here. He was a good man. He talked to me when he asked me to."

"What happened to him?

"I floated in the river after I couldn't get the job done"

The room quiets down again.

Bevel cuts the end of the cigar and turns the sucking mouth. After a beat with the tip of the phosphorus stained with orange, purple smoke drew muscle into Dadan's sight.

"... were you going to retaliate?

I guess some of what Bevel said was something he looked into independently. The tone tells me that the man who was killed with him was close.

Bevel shook her head.

"I just wanted to know the truth.... He did get killed by someone. But I didn't get confirmation of the connection between that and the man who asked me to work. No matter how."

I can't believe Bevel can't look it up.

I guess you don't want to introduce me to the person who stays that lump. His expression is sinister.

"The man is still looking for someone who might be able to do his job"

Spit purple smoke, Bevel said.

"Hit him."
