Mr. Ding heard this and hurriedly said, "Of course, I haven’t eaten. Let’s sit and have some together."

Seeing his granddaughter’s worried expression, Mr. Ding consoled her, "Yiyi, don’t be anxious. I’ll figure something out. It’s late, you and your mother should rest."

When the mother and daughter returned to their courtyard, Ding Yuejun also tried to persuade Yiyi.
