Gu Tingyu heard Yiyi’s words and smiled, nodding, "Okay, let’s have dinner with them tomorrow." After saying this, Gu Tingyu talked with Yiyi about his future workplace.
"You can really stay in Shangjing to work in the future?"
Yiyi’s eyes were full of surprise, but she quickly calmed down.

The next day, Gu Tingyu went to Yiyi’s house early in the morning.

Ding Yuejun saw Gu Tingyu arriving and welcomed him in with a smile, "I just made seafood noodles, have a bowl with Yiyi. You’re having lunch with Er Ya and the others, right? Then go stroll outside with Yiyi in the morning."

As they talked, they entered the house. Yiyi had just finished washing up and came out, seeing Gu Tingyu, she couldn’t help but smile, "You’re here early."

The Fan Family has some standing in Shangjing, but there’s a noticeable gap compared to the Gu Family, therefore, there’s not much interaction between the families, and even less personal relationship between Gu Tingyu and Fan Qianshu.
"Yiyi, let’s go in, I’ve reserved a table."
Fei Erya felt a bit excited thinking of introducing Fan Qianshu to Yiyi and Gu Tingyu, like introducing a boyfriend to the family.
Yiyi nodded with a smile.
The four of them walked in directly.
