The Reincarnated Vampire Wants an Afternoon Nap

Vampires, I'm going out for a walk at night.

The view that stretches beneath your eyes is the darkness of the night. The only light you can count on is the light of the moon.

But vampire eyes don't give me the right information without such darkness.

What you see is a small village. There are no twenty houses.

There are fields around every house and the word rural fits perfectly.

From the smell, there seem to be some smaller villages around the point where we are now... but this is the biggest, close to the ombolo cabin where Kuzha lives.

Her mother is here. The best reason to think so is the two-story mansion in the center of the village.

Even though the surrounding houses are wooden, only the mansions are organized like bricks. It's like a little castle.

The scent drifting from the mansion obviously contains something other than people.

... You smell like a beast.

non-human animals. Or the beast odor characteristic of what has its attributes is slight, but I can feel it. On top of that, it smells sweet enough to push in the beast odor.

Probably a unique smell, unless you have a sharp sense of smell like me. The smell of Kuzha was also similar to what I'm feeling right now.

Similar to Kuzha, the smell of someone who isn't Kuzha. It would be impossible except for the mother.

Fly yourself a bat and come closer to the mansion.

There is no watch when it feels like looking out of the sky. It's a small village, so I guess there's no personnel like that either. Maybe there's security inside the mansion just now.

I made sure no one was there, and then I ran into a window nearby. I won't break it. Fogging the flesh just before.

Literally like fog, from the gap between the window and the wall into the mansion.

"That was easy."

Return to what people look like and say something first.

From what I've seen, it seems quite some time has passed since the mansion was built.

When I add that the houses around me are wooden bungalows, I rushed to build them in a glorious way a long time ago...

Overall the construction seemed rough as well as old, with only a few but gaps in the closed windows from which it was easy to break in.

"It's the kind of gap that you can't get in if it's not foggy."

Mist, liquid, that sort of thing, it's a gap to the point of putting it in. It would be enough to discourage people from breaking in. Enough clearance for me, though.

I hardly smell humans. There still seems to be a small number of humans protecting it.

Obviously in the country, naturally. This is going to be a grand walk around.

I gently lift up my hair reflecting the moonlight and retreat from my sight, and I start walking in the mansion.

The night air is a little cold on my complexion, but I'm not putting out a blanket because I'm in the way of walking.

... You should get your clothes early.

I want to avoid being treated like crazy women all the time.

I'm not showing off because I'm unavoidably naked right now. [M] Although I haven't even tried to hide it aggressively.

If there's someone like a samurai in this mansion, I might have some clothes, but I have other business to look for, and it's a hassle, and I don't know if there's a size for a little kid like me. Let's give up this time.

"Hmm..."

The smell of the beast is felt stronger by entering the mansion.

At his feet, the scent of coming up from the floor indicated that there was a searcher downstairs than here.

I'm walking first floor now. [M] Better than this, it means underground. Apparently, there's this mansion, the basement.

If you're underground, you have to find the entrance. My sense of smell tells me the general direction, but I don't know the exact route. Um, it's a pain in the ass.

If you're outdoors, you can go in the direction where the smell came from, but not indoors.

There are walls and floors around us, and you can't get there without going through stairs and doors, not in a straight line, in the direction you want to go.

I felt a pain in the ass and just a little regret that I came - so I felt uncomfortable.

Feels like skin irritation. This is something I remember. That, too, is something I just learned today.

The same feeling I felt when I played with Kuzha properly. The remnants of magic.

"... they call you?

Somehow, I felt that way.

A slight feeling, like a little kid grabbing my finger and pulling it off.

Very weak, but I do feel it. Following that feeling, I walked down the moonlight corridor.

I go past some doors and stop my legs in front of one. It's just a little bigger than the other doors I went through by the time I got here.

Press gently and it opened, so I'll take a peek inside. It was a large longitudinal room with a large rectangular table at the centre.

The table is covered with a large white cross, with three candlesticks placed at regular intervals.

"Is it the dining room"

The feeling of fingers being pulled is still going on. Go into the dining room, bypass the table and go further.

When I opened the door just the opposite of where I came in, it was now the cooking place.

Much bigger than Mr. Fernote's house kitchen. It feels well equipped, so it's probably built in captivity.

Kamado is huge, and there are two of them. The oven is also large. The freezer is also likely to hold twice as much as what was in Mr. Fernote's house.

The cookware on the hook mounted on the wall is over ten with just a knife.

The line of hanging knives is the shorter across the blade the more right, the longer the left. It's a placement where you can ask about the human condition that keeps the cooking area.

... Nor here, is it?

It seems to be getting closer because of the slightly stronger irritation to the sense of smell, but it is still thin. The sensation of magic has not disappeared, and I keep stabbing my skin.

The more you look at the kitchen, the more you walk towards the one whose sensory navigation indicates. It was a tight door next to the refrigerator that got there.

If we get this far, I can imagine what the next room is.

"Is it a food bank?"

It would be a space for storing thin ingredients that need to be kept cold.

The smell I feel from across the door is twinkly. I wonder if this smells like onions.

It's just that this door was strangely harsh for a food bank.

There are three locks. The door itself is also obviously made of thick metal. It's like denying people entry or exit.

I know food is important, but would you normally go this far?

"If it's not normal, maybe what's ahead isn't normal either."

Turn your body into a shadow, like leaving you alone.

Shadows are literally shadows. There is no thickness, and whatever the gap, you can get in. Besides, the time is night, and the lights aren't on in the cooking area, so it's dark.

With a high level of shadowing skills, I can also be a shadow in the sun, but I'm still not tired of changing to blend into the shadows. As long as the conditions are in place, shadowing is the most fatigue-free change system skill.

I can't move that fast, but I can also move in the shadows. I slowly broke into the pantry.

The flow of magic is gradually becoming strongly felt.

Apparently, the search for this guy is also nearing an end.
