Chapter 380: The day has come!!
Finally, the day had arrived.
The wedding day.
For days, Pearl Villa had been filled with preparations, laughter, arguments over decorations, endless lists, last minute arrangements and people moving from one corner of the estate to another.
But this morning felt different.
There was a certain stillness in the air.
Not silence.
Rather, the quiet anticipation that came before something everyone had been waiting for.
The sun had risen over Star Harbor, bathing the enormous estate in warm golden light.
Pearl Villa looked almost unrecognizable.
The sprawling lawn had been transformed into a magnificent wedding garden.
Rows of white flowers bordered the walking paths, while delicate arrangements of pale blue and ivory blossoms decorated the edges of the lawn. Tall floral arches stood at several points across the garden, each covered with fresh flowers including daisies and soft greenery.
At the center stood the main wedding stage.
It was elevated slightly above the lawn and surrounded by elegant floral arrangements. White roses, lilies and delicate blue flowers climbed around the pillars supporting the canopy.
Soft fabric draped from the top of the structure, moving gently with the morning breeze.
Behind the stage was a large decorative wall bearing the initials of the bride and groom.
Chloe and Miles.
The names were surrounded by flowers and warm lights that would illuminate the garden after sunset.
Rows of beautifully arranged chairs faced the stage.
Every seat had been decorated with a small floral arrangement.
The center aisle was covered with a soft white carpet.
Small lanterns lined both sides of the path.
At night, they would turn the entire garden into a sea of warm golden lights.
Beyond the main ceremony area was the reception section.
Long tables had been arranged beneath elegant white canopies.
Crystal glasses, polished cutlery and carefully folded napkins had been placed with almost perfect precision.
The catering team had been working since early morning.
The kitchen was already alive with activity.
The smell of freshly prepared food drifted through the estate.
There were separate counters for desserts, beverages, traditional dishes and international cuisine.
Even the garden paths had received attention.
Small signs directed guests toward the reception area, restrooms, changing rooms and the private sections of the villa.
The entire place felt less like a private residence and more like a luxury wedding destination.
Yet despite all the grandeur...
The atmosphere remained warm.
It did not feel like a ceremony organized merely to display wealth.
It felt like a family celebration.
And that was exactly what Elena wanted.
Near the entrance, Daniel stood beside her.
Both were dressed formally.
They had spent weeks preparing for this day.
Now they stood together, welcoming every guest personally.
Daniel looked toward the driveway.
"Here they come."
A line of luxury cars began entering the neighborhood.
One after another, vehicles passed through the gates of Pearl Villa.
Black sedans.
Elegant European cars.
Luxury SUVs.
A few sports cars belonging to the younger guests.
Security personnel carefully guided every vehicle toward the designated parking area.
The first group to arrive was made up of the younger friends.
They had deliberately come early.
Not because they were impatient.
But because they had been assigned important duties.
They were part of the bridal party.
June arrived first, followed by April.
Both were carrying several bags.
June looked around the lawn.
"Everything is ready."
April smiled.
Soon after, more familiar faces began arriving.
The younger friends came together, already discussing dresses, hairstyles, photographs and the order of events.
The atmosphere quickly became lively.
Some carried gifts.
Others carried garment bags.
A few were already taking pictures of the decorations.
The villa was slowly filling.
Then the older generation began arriving.
Victor Wraithbourne arrived with his father, General Wilred.
The moment they stepped out of the vehicle, Daniel personally walked forward to greet them.
"Victor."
"Daniel."
The two men shook hands warmly.
General Wilred looked around the estate.
"You have certainly prepared something impressive."
Daniel smiled.
"Thank you, General Wraithbourne."
"You are still the same."
Their conversation continued for several minutes before they joined the other guests.
Another vehicle arrived.
The Ainsleys.
Joshua stepped out with his father.
The famous winemaking family had arrived carrying several carefully packed gifts.
Joshua looked toward the wedding garden.
"Beautiful."
His father nodded.
"It suits them."
Not long after, Becky arrived with her mother.
They were greeted warmly by Elena.
"Becky , Rose is waiting for you inside."
Becky smiled.
"Oops, I will get scolded."
Her mother laughed.
Elena smiled.
More cars followed.
Hilbert Heartman arrived with her niece, Officer Jemma, from Brightvale City.
Jemma looked around curiously.
"I have never seen a wedding venue like this."
Hilbert smiled.
"Stay close. I believe we will see even more impressive things inside."
Another vehicle arrived carrying Basil Jefferson, his son Adam, Adam’s wife and their children from Silverline City.
The children immediately became interested in the enormous lawn.
Adam barely managed to stop them from running toward the decorative fountain.
"Stay here."
The children looked disappointed.
Basil laughed.
"Let them enjoy themselves. It is a wedding, not a military parade."
Adam sighed.
"Father, you don’t have to deal with them later."
Basil smiled.
"That is why I am enjoying this."
The gathering continued.
Miss Meiling and Wang Yi arrived from China.
They exchanged polite greetings with Daniel and Elena before being escorted inside.
Then came Liam Rodriguez, Managing Director of Venus Foods.
His daughter Stella accompanied him.
The moment Stella saw Hope, her face brightened.
"Hope!"
Hope immediately ran toward her.
The two girls embraced.
Elena smiled at them.
"Go on. You two have plenty to talk about."
Stella grabbed Hope’s hand.
"Come on."
The two disappeared into the garden.
Another familiar face arrived shortly afterward.
Dr. Reyes.
He stepped out of his vehicle and adjusted his suit before walking toward the entrance.
Daniel greeted him.
"Doctor."
"Mr. Daniel."
"Thank you for coming."
"Of course. I wouldn’t miss this."
Reyes looked around.
"How is Senior Sterling doing?"
Daniel smiled.
"Resting. He insisted on attending."
"Well, weddings are not everyday."
Then another familiar vehicle arrived.
Dion stepped out.
Flora followed carefully.
Her pregnancy was already visible, and Dion remained close beside her, instinctively making sure she was comfortable.
Daniel immediately walked toward them.
"Dion."
"Uncle."
Flora smiled.
"Congratulations."
Elena embraced her warmly.
"Thank you for coming, dear. And please don’t stand too long."
Flora laughed.
"I am perfectly fine."
Dion looked at the enormous gathering.
"I think we came at the right time."
Daniel smiled.
"You certainly did."
Soon, another arrival caught everyone’s attention.
A familiar Sterling vehicle entered through the gates.
Gordon Sterling stepped out.
His son and daughter in law followed him.
For a moment, Gordon simply stood there looking at Pearl Villa.
He had attended many important events throughout his life.
But this one was different.
This was his elder brother’s grandson’s wedding.
His son placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Father."
Gordon smiled.
"Let’s go."
They walked toward the entrance.
Elena greeted them personally.
"Uncle Gordon."
"Elena."
He smiled warmly.
"Today belongs to the children."
Elena nodded.
"Yes."
Another vehicle arrived.
Edna Winslow stepped out with her granddaughter Olivia.
Olivia immediately looked toward the villa.
"Grandmother, everyone is already here."
Edna smiled.
"Then we should not keep them waiting."
Olivia laughed.
"You say that as though we are late."
"You are."
Olivia looked at the clock.
"We are not."
Edna simply smiled.
They joined the gathering.
Then came Calum.
He had traveled all the way from London.
The moment he stepped out of the vehicle, several people recognized him.
He raised a hand casually.
"Did I miss anything?"
Daniel laughed.
"Brother Calum, The ceremony hasn’t even started."
"Perfect."
Calum adjusted his suit.
"Then I am right on time."
More vehicles arrived.
But the next arrival changed the atmosphere.
Five men entered the estate together.
They were dressed formally, yet something about their presence made them different from the other guests.
They were members of the Ancient Warrior Order.
Five warriors.
They did not need to announce themselves.
Their posture was enough.
Their eyes moved across the surroundings with calm awareness.
They were not here as bodyguards.
They were here as guests.
Several people quietly moved aside to let them pass.
One of the older guests whispered.
"Who are they.."
Another nodded.
"Never seen them."
The five warriors continued toward the main entrance.
Daniel greeted them personally.
"Welcome."
The Darius among them smiled.
"Thanks for inviting us."
Daniel smiled
Then came Charles.
He arrived from Sterling Private Security.
Unlike the other guests, Charles looked as though he had spent the morning checking security rather than preparing himself for a wedding.
His eyes moved across the property.
Entrances.
Exits.
Security personnel.
Vehicles.
Perimeter.
Only after completing his silent inspection did he relax.
Daniel noticed.
"Charles."
Charles turned.
"Mr. Kellar."
"Today is a wedding."
Charles smiled.
"I know."
"Then stop looking like someone is going to attack us."
Charles laughed.
"I will try."
The atmosphere grew increasingly lively.
Music began playing softly in the garden.
Waiters moved between the guests.
Photographers captured the arrivals.
Children ran around the lawn while their parents tried to keep them from disturbing the decorations.
Friends gathered into small groups.
Old acquaintances reunited.
Business partners who had not met in years exchanged handshakes.
Families who had only heard stories about one another finally met face to face.
And then...
The final group arrived.
The sound of vehicles approaching caused several people near the entrance to turn around.
A group of older men stepped out.
Commander Ray was among them.
Several elders from Graveyard accompanied him.
Their presence carried an entirely different atmosphere.
They did not need luxury vehicles.
They simply walked.
Yet the air around them seemed to become heavier.
Their years of experience were visible in the way they moved.
Their eyes were calm.
Their expressions were restrained.
Every step carried the weight of countless battles and countless lives.
Commander Ray looked toward the villa.
Then he smiled.
"So..."
He looked at the others.
"We finally made it."
One of the elders chuckled.
"For a wedding."
Ray nodded.
"Our family member is getting married."
They continued forward.
Elena walked toward them.
"Mr. Ray, thank you for coming."
"Mrs. Kellar, one of us is getting married, offcourse we will come."
Ray looked toward the beautifully decorated garden.
"I never imagined I would attend a wedding here."
Daniel smiled.
"Life has a way of surprising us."
Ray laughed softly.
"It certainly does."
Behind them, the elders of Graveyard looked around.
And somewhere inside Pearl Villa...
The groom was still preparing.
The bride was getting ready.
The family was waiting.
The friends were celebrating.
And the entire estate was slowly filling with people who had become connected to Miles and Chloe through different paths of life.
Some came from business.
Some from powerful families.
Some from the military.
Some from ancient organizations.
Some from ordinary lives.
Yet for this one day...
None of that mattered.
They were all here for the same reason.
To witness two people finally choosing each other.
To celebrate a love that had survived distance, danger, secrets, loss and years of uncertainty.
And as the morning slowly moved toward noon...
Pearl Villa became filled with laughter.
The wedding day had truly begun.
The previous day
Baker’s Crust Bakery
The bakery was busy preparing its afternoon orders when the bell above the entrance rang.
A Sterling Security agent stepped inside and walked toward the counter.
The woman behind it smiled politely.
"Welcome, sir. What would you like to order?"
The agent looked around.
"Is Mrs. Baker here?"
The woman raised an eyebrow.
"May I ask who you are?"
"I have a message for her."
The woman studied him for a moment before nodding.
"I will call her."
A few moments later, an older woman emerged from the kitchen, wiping flour from her clothes.
"How can I help you, sir?"
The agent straightened.
"Mrs. Baker, I am from Sterling Security."
Her eyes immediately brightened.
"Did Mr. Sterling want something?"
"Tomorrow is his wedding."
Mrs. Baker froze.
Then her face lit up.
"That is wonderful news!"
The agent smiled.
"He wants you to make his wedding cake."
He handed her a folder containing the details.
Mrs. Baker opened it.
Her eyes slowly became wet.
"He is getting married"
She gently touched the paper.
"I will make it with all my heart."
...
The next day, Mrs. Baker and her team finally arrived at Pearl Villa.
Several staff members carefully carried an enormous wedding cake into the garden.
It was a magnificent multi tiered cake covered in smooth white frosting, decorated with delicate blue flowers and tiny silver details. White roses surrounded each tier, while a small elegant arrangement of flowers crowned the top.
The names "Miles" and "Chloe" were written beneath the centerpiece in graceful lettering.
The entire cake was protected beneath a transparent covering as the team carefully moved it toward the reception area.
Several guests turned to look.
Whispers immediately spread through the garden.
"That cake is enormous."
"It looks beautiful."
Monica hurried toward Elena.
"Aunt, the cake is here."
Elena smiled with relief.
"Perfect. That was the final thing."
She looked toward the entrance.
"The church official has arrived too."
Daniel checked his watch.
"Then it is time."
Monica nodded.
"I will bring Grandpa Tim."
She turned toward the villa.
The wedding preparations were finally complete.
Now...
There was nothing left to do except wait for the bride and groom to begin the most important day of their lives.
