"Dragon's, eggs......?
Crushed Jill walks into a straw-packed rock hole.
It was a strange egg. It looks bright because it's covered in black shells but glowing gold from the inside.
It was warm when I touched it. Alive.
- Why, the eggs don't hatch.
It reminded me of the Black Dragon scream.
"... no way this, golden-eyed, black dragon..."
"Yes."
"Wow."
Jill gives a voice to the black dragon who suddenly stuck his face in the rock hole. Looking back, the purple-eyed black dragon had made a kobu between his eyebrows. After Jill hit him.
"It's a golden-eyed black dragon egg that will always appear when the dragon emperor is born. It nourishes the dragon emperor's heart and hatches as the dragon emperor grows... as you can see."
I feel no more hostility from the Black Dragon. So I kept talking.
"What has Lady Rave done about this?
"Of course I know. But the Dragon Emperor doesn't seem interested. I can't let that happen."
"... is it hard not to hatch all the time"
"Ten, twenty years, etc. For our dragons, the range of error. But in the unlikely event that the dragon emperor dies without hatching, he will nourish his dead heart, and a monster will be born.... the dragon emperor may be after it. Even after I die, to curse the world."
Six years later, Hadith's appearance came to mind. That ruinous appearance of cursing, resenting and hoping for destruction of everything.
"... it's okay, Your Majesty is still alive and well"
"But..."
"I understand your concern. The point is, Your Majesty is still closing his heart."
Sigh, Jill slows down the eggs. It's okay, it's still warm.
"You're going to help, Your Majesty. Wait."
No heart or I feel a proper heartbeat in the palm of my hand.
"And then you should be born early, too. I, the golden-eyed black dragon, want to ride. Because it's the same color as His Majesty."
Dunno, the vibration returned clearly. To the surprised Jill, the black dragon leans on his nose looking excited.
"Did it work!? You just did!?"
"Yes. Probably, but..."
"No, it moved. Absolutely moved.... Good, you're alive, right..."
Jill questions Black Dragon, who is relieved at heart.
"Are you the parent dragon? So you've been protecting me?
"No, I'm connected."
…… of this egg... do you mean your wife "
"That's right. Only black dragons are determined to connect."
"Excuse me, how many are you"
"I'm not even 300 years old."
Not yet, or is it? In that sense of time, ten or twenty years is certainly within the margin of error.
"But - then you missed it"
You must have been surprised. A black dragon with a slight eye opening moves between his eyebrows and puts on his face. Sounds painful.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I hit you in the face even though you're a girl"
"Say what. There is no discrimination in female males. I'm the one who was pissed off by the eggs that didn't hatch on it and made a statement that lacked calm. I'm sorry. My eyes closed. Sure, I'm not doing anything. I just look at the immobile eggs here and just get depressed..."
"You can't do that. You're not going to make it first."
Waiting exhausts me. Jill, looking back, lured him out thoughtfully.
"Together, Your Majesty, let's go help. You need to go outside, too."
"But the eggs..."
"You'll be safe here. If you don't have to, it's enough to come and see how things are every once in a while."
I felt Bikun and the eggs move, but I ignored them with my back turned.
"This is all in one place with His Majesty, isn't it? Don't stick around and spoil it."
"Oh well...? Something just happened. The eggs are glowing..."
"I mean, I know my surroundings right. Still won't come out, because you'll be here, will you? It's sweet."
"I'm starting to glow like a huge protest, okay?
"I'm fine and above all! We need to help His Majesty first, so let's go."
"Eggs are starting to jump!?"
"If you don't want to be left behind, you just get out."
Looking back, I stopped the eggs glowing and moving like they were frightened.
In the form of leaning against the head of a black dragon, Jill says.
"So I will be with her to help Her Majesty. - Isn't that nice?
Inquiring, the nearby purple eyes quietly looked at Jill and lay down only once.
"... come on, I'm going out! Come on, I'm tired of waiting!
"It's that intention!
"If you say you don't like it, you can come after me, you golden-eyed black dragon! After Lady Ralph the Dragon God, it's my connection."
When Jill clapped, the black dragon snorted like it was clear. But those eyes, which are good for eggs, are sweet.
"Then I'm coming, my husband. - Get on your back, Lady Dragon."
To his unexpected words, Jill makes his eyes glow after a moment of breathtaking.
"No... do you mind, give me a ride!? Me alone!?"
"Only a dragon queen or dragon emperor can ride on my back."
To his invincible grin, Jill hurries out of the rock hole and twists from around his neck to his back. And I looked at the ceiling and noticed.
"But how did you get out of here?
"What, if you hold on tight for a moment"
A black dragon faces out of a rock hole and moves its wings in a posture. And at once he poked from his head toward the water ceiling.
Unexpectedly holding her breath, Jill opens her eyes realizing she doesn't feel the water pressure. I can breathe. I can see the surroundings. Glittering water reflecting the sunset, brightly colored fish swimming without herds. Algae like a rock-soaked coral with a green carpet.
He made a flashy sound and blister and jumped off the bottom of the water all at once to the ground. Looking down from the sky, I find out that all I've ever been at was the bottom of a big lake on a cliff with waterfalls flowing in.
"Duh... what's going on, is that... water, won't it overflow?"
"Some of the waterfalls are flowing underground. The dragon's nest fluctuates the terrain around it. Where are you going, Lady Dragon?"
Asked by the black dragon, who pivoted and gained his posture, Jill raised his face. Even though the wind pressure and altitude are quite high, I can't breathe and maintain my posture. Same as when I was riding a dragon with Hadith or Erinzia. Is this dragon protection?
"There is a place I had decided to meet my people. There. It should be near here."
"Aye, okay."
"And call me Jill about me. I'll call you by name, too."
I don't have a name.
"Then I'll put it on. Steak or something!"
Black dragons swirling through the sun-dyed sky after a beat laughed economically, calmly answer.
Rejected.
